2012 was one hell of a year. A lot went down. I went from thinking I would never step foot in a wrestling ring again to winning the multiple year end awards including the most important of them all: 2012 Wrestler of the Year. 2012 was the greatest year of my career. The thing is, with my 8 year break from wrestling, and the fact that I've only been wrestling now for about 6 months makes this basically the beginning of my career. I'm just getting started.
Which brings us to 2013. A year that will be even better than the last. I know a lot of people are probably thinking it woud be damn near impossible to have a better year than I just had. Match of the Year. Feud of the Year. Wrestler of the Year. I dominated this company from the very beginning. I have proven every single night that I am simply better than the competition.
This Thursday I will be starting off 2013 in the right way when I do what I do best. When I defy all odds and beat one of the better tag teams in the MPW all by myself. There is nothing I like more than a challenge. I don't care if I have to compete in a handicap match every single night I'll do it. Johnny can throw his power around all he wants and try to bring me down but there is no challenge out there that I can't overcome. I don't care what the odds are more times than not I'm going to come out on top.
Getting MY World Title back is always going to be the ultimate goal. I'm counting the days till I'm eligible to get back what is rightfully mine. Until that moment I am going to destroy every single opponent that's thrown in front of me as I continue to prove to everyone who the best wrestler in the world really is by dominating the competition like I always have.
What better way to start out 2013 and to prove my said dominance by getting a handicap win? I couldn't really think of one. Beating both members of Age of Arrogance is going to be my statement to the world and more importantly to every single wrestler in the back and that includes that pussy Johnny Clash.
As far as Age of Arrogance goes I hope you boys put up a better fight this time. There's no doubt we have our history and there's no denying that neither of you two have EVER beaten Trey Baxter. I'm sure you two are thinking that this is going to be it though. This is going to be the time you guys finally get the win against me. After all the odds are completely in your favor. There's no denying that. Two versus one is a mismatch no matter how good I am or how bad you two are. We will see if your strength in numbers can get you guys the win. I, for one, at least want you guys to put up a fight.
Either way though Thursday Night I will prove to the both of you for the last time that the two of you don't measure up to me no matter what the circumstances. Thursday Night I'm going to put your LIGHTS OUT...again...
["Guerilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine blasts over the PA System as the House Show crowd explodes. After a few moments Trey Baxter steps out onto the top of the ramp wearing some jeans and his gray MPW best selling t-shirt. He pauses at the top of the ramp before making his way down the ramp and climbing into the ring where he immediately walks over and grabs a microphone. He walks around the ring for a moment and then brings the mic up to his mouth as his music fades out.]
Trey Baxter: What's up Boise, Idaho???!?
[The crowd explodes as he lets out a little smile.]
Trey Baxter: This is my first appearance since winning a number of awards including the grand daddy of them all the 2012 Wrestler of the Year.
[The crowd begins to cheer as they begin to chant his name.]
Crowd: BAXTER, BAXTER, BAXTER!!!
[He pauses for a moment as he waits for them to stop.]
Baxter: I thought about bringing all my awards out here with me to show all of you here tonight but I just won too many to bring out here. They may not look to big but when you win so many of them it makes it a lot harder. Johnny Clash knows what I'm talking about. Oh wait...he doesn't...
[He let's out of a smile as the crowd let's out a huge "Ohhhh!".]
Baxter: I guess there's nothing better for me to start out talking about here tonight other than Johnny Clash himself. Mr. Power Trip. The World Champion who never even really fights. It's pathetic if you ask me. It's obvious he's scared to get back in the ring with me by him putting in that clause into our contract. On top of that he's happened to surround himself with a bunch of muscle. A bunch of guys who do his dirty work for him. He says jump and they ask how high. I'm pretty sure these three guys take turns in the back sucking him off too. I really don't know who's more pathetic in the whole thing: him or them. It's pathetic that he needs a group of flunkies to go around and handle his business for him. Shows how much of a poon that guy really is. And then it's probably even more pathetic on their parts because they all claim to be legit talents in this business yet they are followers. Do these guys really think Johnny Clash gives a shit about them? Hell no he doesn't!
Think about this for a second guys. Johnny Clash is now in control. That means, if he wanted, he could make a match between Age of Arrogance and the current tag team champions for the Tag Titles and really put Age of Arrogance on the map. Or he could put Andre Dixon or Drake Hunter into a Sin City Title match next Thursday if he wanted to. He could throw Chris Cable a TV Title shot or any title shot for that matter. Has he though? Nope. So what exactly is in it for you guys? I mean it's one thing for Dixon who might have gotten hit on his head and be confused as to what year it is. Pretty sure the guy still thinks slavery exists and that he is in fact Clash's slave. But what's Cable and Drake's excuse?
Being somebody's bitch is bad enough, but being Johnny Clash's bitch? Well that gives rock fucking bottom a new meaning altogether. You guys are nothing more than Johnny's bitches. And the worst part about it is that you're not being compensated for your actions. Besides for probably a blow job or hand job or two in the locker room. Or is that just Tuesday nights for you guys?
[Trey starts laughing for a moment before finally gaining back his composure.]
Baxter: Seriously though I've got to give it to Johnny Clash. He's actually a lot smarter than I thought he was. I honestly didn't think he was capable of wiping his own ass much less having a following. I know you're out there somewhere enjoying MY World Title. But I guarantee you that either Ash or myself WILL take that title away from you sooner rather then later. So enjoy it while you can because it's not going to last very long.
Which brings me to my match this week. Johnny thought it would be fun for him to put Age of Arrogance against me alone. I'm pretty sure he thought there would be no way for me to overcome those odds and come out on top. Has the man ever even met me? Does he not realize who the fuck I am? I'll gladly get in the ring with both members of Age of Arrogance and at the end of the day the only one who is going to feel arrogant is me. In fact, you can throw Andre Dixon into the mix as well and it still won't matter because I am still better than all of them. I can't wait to prove it on Thursday Night and to show Johnny that in the long run he's in trouble.
I'll start out with Chris Cable. A man who, for some reason, thinks he's better than he really is. Then again both of these guys seem to think they're on a level that they're not. I keep hearing them say they're going to hurt me and that I'm going to be eating or drinking out of a straw after this match is over. I actually even heard one of them have the balls to say that this will be the end of me. For real? You two are going to end my career? Do you realize who I am and what I'm capable of? Hell, do you realize what I've DONE for this company? I AM this company. I'm the reason the MPW is gaining more and more fans every single week. I'm the one that the fans pay to see. Not Age of Arrogance and most definitely not Chris fucking Cable!
You guys think you can put me in a wheel chair? I'd love to see you try! In fact, if you do somehow make me handicap, no matter for how long it may be, I will retire from the sport of wrestling. Why? Because there is no chance in hell that I'm going to let a bunch of losers who can't even fend for themselves put me out of commission even for one week. I've gone through hell and back and fought the very next week. After my 3 Stages of Hell match with Jackson Blaze nobody thought either of us would be able to compete for a few weeks at least, and he didn't compete for a few weeks. Me, on the other hand? I competed and won the very next week! I have become accustom to taking a beating and still walking out on top.
Now I did want to say a little something about the fact that Age of Arrogance is apparently on a "roll." Really? Didn't Ash and I beat your asses like two weeks ago? I'm sorry I don't pay attention to you losers enough but how in the hell is that considered a roll? How is that considered you guys taking over this joint? I always thought you were dumb Cable but this is just plain retarded.
You guys do seem to have an impact but it's not in the wrestling ring and in a wrestling match. It's more of when you guys decide to use your numbers and attack people when they aren't expecting it. Do you really think I'm just going to let that shit you guys pulled on Ash slide? That's one of the main reasons I loved this match when it was announced even though I'm sure everyone thought I would hate it. This is my chance to get revenge for that cowardly act of yours. Don't get me wrong though; I wouldn't expect anything less from you two pussies. You two can continue to be arrogant meanwhile I will continue to be the BEST. I will continue to go out and win matches every single week. I mean shit, it's not my fault that the fans love me and hate you guys. I guess if I were you guys I'd hate the fans too seeing how they never really gave a damn about who you even were. You're a small fish in a big pond. You don't belong this far up the card and the only reason you made it this far up on the card is because of your opponent. Because of ME.
[He once again pauses before beginning to talk again.]
Then we have the supposed better member of the group Drake Hunter. A guy I've already beaten both in singles action AND in tag team action. After Thursday I will have beaten Drake Hunter in a singles match, a tag team match, AND a handicap match. He will officially be my bitch. Even more so than he is Johnny's.
In Drake's promo he kept calling me a former champion. That's right I am a former World Champion. You may think that's an insult but I'd much rather be a FORMER MPW World Champion than to NEVER been MPW World Champion like yourself. I mean we're talking about a guy who isn't even on the World Title map. A guy who has to steal the Sin City title! Do you knwo how beneath me the Sin City Title is? It means absolutely nothing to me. My shit's are more important than that belt and you'd probably do anything and everything to get it. That's one of the many differences between us Hunter. You may think you're great but I actually AM great. You may think you're the best, but I actually AM the best.
You will try your whole career to get to the level I'm at and you will NEVER reach it. I think your promo said it all. You talked more about the Sin City Title, Rage, and Bliss than you did about me. I guess it makes sense though with how I've already beaten you twice before. I wouldn't want anything to do with me either if I was you. At least you'll have your boyfriend...I mean sexual partner...I mean tag team partner with you to hold your hand meanwhile I stomp your ass out and beat you AGAIN.
Seriously though how pathetic do you have to be to steal a title? Do you really think stealing the Sin City Title from Rage makes you the champion? On top of that he took that shit back from you and then you stole it again! Why not man the fuck up and BEAT him for the title? That just shows that you're not as good as you think you are. The worst part is that you're actually going around acting like you really are the Sin City Champion. I guess you've been going around acting like you're good this whole time that acting like you're a champion won't be too hard for you. Then again you as a champion is just way too far fetched for me. I honestly can't see it. Even when you're holding that title. It just doesn't look or seem right. Like a dog in human clothes.
[Trey pauses as he begins to walk around a ring for a moment before putting the mic back up to his mouth.]
Baxter: I heard Drake claim that Johnny and him are the best wrestlers in this company. Word? Were either of you even UP for Wrestler of the Year? You two combined haven't even done HALF of what I've done here in Millenium Pro Wrestling. I'm pretty sure I have more wins than Johnny, Drake and Cable combined and that's just sad because they probably have about 10 times more losses than I do. Hell, probably even more than that. If we are talking about the REAL best wrestlers in this company you have to look no further than myself and my boy Ash Soulsfate. We have both dominated the competition from day one and will continue to do so. We're filet mignons meanwhile the rest of you are fucking ground beef.
I don't care if you guys like me but you damn well will learn to respect me. Meanwhile I may not be the World Champion right now there's no doubt in my mind, the fans minds, and everyone in the backs mind that I will once again get my title back as soon as I'm given the shot. You can even make the argument that even Johnny fucking Clash knows that I will get my title back because otherwise why would he put that clause into our match?
You see Drake meanwhile you may be a good wrestler. I'm a great wrestler. I go out every single week and I prove it too. Not like you guys who go out every now and then and pull a lucky win over someone less talented than you are. I know what you're all thinking: there's people less talented than Age of Arrogance? Yes. There really is. And meanwhile you two continue to beat the bottom feeders of the federation I continue to go out and beat the best of the best. They wouldn't even put me in a match with the losers that you guys go up against for the simple fact that they know none of them could hang. In fact, Chris Cable is on that list. I've asked for a one on one match with Cable for a while now but I haven't been granted it. Why? Because everyone knows he's not on my level and can't compete with me unless he has his boyfriend there to hold his hand.
How pathetic does it make you guys that you have to face me as a TEAM. I'm one man and you guys need BOTH of you to just make it a competitive match. Which further proves my point about how good I am and about just how bad you guys are. You claim to be the best tag team in MPW but you couldn't even compete with Ash and I and now it's gotten to the point where they realize it's going to take both of you to beat me. Or at least that's what Johnny thinks. He thinks that the two of you will be able to hand me a rare loss in a match that, honestly, I have no business winning. The thing is even though he might want or think you guys can beat me, at the end of the day he knows that it will only be a matter of time before I put both of your asses down and get the win.
My goal is actually to pin both of you at the same damn time. Can you imagine how bad that would be for the two of you? Losing to one man would be bad enough but for that one man to pin you both at the same time and then have his hand raised meanwhile you two are laid out in MY ring trying to get back up. That shit is going to be hilarious. I plan on giving this good people of Boise, Idaho what they paid for and that is to see Trey Baxter compete and win against top level talent. I know that neither of you two can be considered top level talent, but combined you come pretty damn close. And no that's not a compliment even though I'm sure Cable probably took it as one. The two of you still stand absolutely no chance of beating me and you damn sure stand no chance of making me handicap. Thursday is going to be a fun night for me and a wake up call for the two of you. I don't plan on beating the two of you I plan on embarrassing the two of you. I guess the good thing is that you guys don't care what the fans and other people think so it won't be career ending. Even though if Ash and I lost to one man I would probably never step foot in a wrestling ring again. No matter how good that one man was.
I hope you two realize what you've gotten yourselves into on Thursday Night because it's not going to be what you think it is. Most of the time when you have a handicap match the tag team is supposed to win. But this...this is one of the few exceptions where one is better than two. I know for damn sure that my one is better than you two any day of the week. I'll see you boys at TNT. Hopefully you can at least make it interesting. I doubt it though...
[He drops the mic as his music hits and he stands there for a moment before climbing out of the ring and walking up the ramp to the back as the scene fades to black.]
