Okay so at Wrestlemania I wore a Cena shirt and everyone who said Cena Sucks couldn't give me a valid reason as to why he sucks. The top responses were:
1. Idk he just does 2. He has only 5 moves
Not valid. Every top star in wrestling history had 5 major moves they used as trademarks.
Give me valid reasons and I may use them In an article in writing
Also the only legit response I got from someone was "he doesn't sell moves well."
I know I'm opening a new can of worms with this post but fire away.

Well Cena is just getting the WWE title after WWE title, it's like they're trying to make him into the next flair without noticing, he's like what 12 time world champ now?

so... if you put someone as champ they have to be able to be the face of the company. I too would like some new blood going after the title. its just too bad they picked ryback and henry. there is no one elsr besides cena right now that can live up to the stanards without having cm punk again.
cena doesn't suck, alot of other wrestlers are just not getting over that hurtle to be champion material
im glad cena took it from rock cuz hes not a wrestler anymore. hes a Hollywood prima donna.

I rather have a lengthy time frame when cena lose the title, and his past few championship wins has been a long road before becoming champion again

It's understandable why many people hate Cena. He's been constantly pushed by the biggest company in all of professional wrestling as the best and most heroic wrestler in the history of the sport and obviously people are bound to get fed up of him. I think the amount of time he has been pushed by the WWE has something to do with it. Personally I don't think there should be one sole face of the WWE, as I don't think there should be one sole face in any wrestling company, because to me that implies that that company has no one else better than him, and that's clearly not the case. I think that because he gets more popularity and publicity than the likes of Chris Jericho or Daniel Bryan, it gets under the skin of most fans, and that's why they think that he sucks. I know I'm fed up of him, but I have a few other reasons of hating him that I will not mention for now...

I just think that his rammed down our throats anyway they can, his promo's are dire and that male's 16+ know or start to know what they truly want in their wrestling. I probably wouldn't care if John Cena was champ but not thrown in our faces constantly and as represent of the company, yes the champion is the face of the company but treat other stars the same. Build new stars so their is healthy competition, but the WWE is corrupted anyway, so there's no chance in changing the WWE.

Im not a Cena hater as such, but as earlier noted, he has been over pushed/exposed, why well my guess is that he speaks to many "new" fans and also (From what I heard, is a hard worker... also I think his in ring work has improved explosively over the last couple of years and that he can deliever a good and entertaining match

Like him or hate him thats what good wrestlers do, they force fans to give an emotional response... One reason he is pushed so much is A. He is so polarizing which means people talk about the WWE, and B. He connects with younger fans and his Gimmick is great for those young fans to look up to.
I like Cena, is he the Best wrestler, no CM Punk and Daniel Bryan and others can take that crown, But he is good and has gotten better. His limited moves do hurt him but I would rather have a guy that stays within himself and is Really good then a guy that is daring but flubs everything.
Cena is a hard worker he is there night in and night out. Jericho doesnt get the same push cause he has become a part time wrestler... Fozzy takes up a ton of time. Im not a Henry or Rybeck fan but its different then CM Punk geting a shot again and I love CM Punk.
Take it for what its worth, He is one of the biggest stars in really the only promotion that matters to Mainstream.

I don't agree at all with saying that he has been rammed down our throats or that he's been pushed by the biggest company.
Every "big" superstar has been pushed down the public's throat's since this whole thing started. I remember being a kid in the 80's and having Hogan and Warrior shoved down my throat and as a kid I had no problem with that at all. Slip into the attitude era where The Rock and Austin were force fed as well no one complained. Hell when Cena debuted his rap gimmick and won the title the whole fan base loved him. The fans that claim to hate him now made him into what he is. He was everyone's choice to lead the company because he was getting the biggest pops out of all the young guys in the industry at that time.
You hate his promos because you've programmed yourself to hate everything he does.
Fact with Cena is there has never been a harder worker in the ring and out of the ring. The man tirelessly supports every charity he can.
Basically what it boils down to is the internet made it cool to hate cena so people bought into it. He didn't start out at ROH or other indy feds so he didn't get the chance to become an indy darling and be loved by hipster wrestling fans who claim to have liked a guy before he went to the WWE.
All the haters should learn to appreciate a legend in this business when you see one. Mark my words when he is gone and chooses to come back be it for one match or when he is inducted into the hall of fame you will all be standing on your feet applauding the man that carried this company on his back for 10 + years and never complained about anything that was thrown his way.
Do you hear other wrestlers that have worked with him state over and over how much they hate him? No you don't because he is held in the utmost respect for his work ethic and love for the business.
I totally agree with Gabe as well in that he is targeting the younger fans in this industry with good cause because those are the ones that will drive this business for years to come.

One other thing I'd love to know is how exactly is the WWE corrupted and not building new stars?
Ummmm pretty sure they are and have always been the one "big" company that is constantly building new talent to emerge. They were the ones that put world title gold on Jericho when WCW said he couldn't carry a company.
I've watched this company develop from the start in the 80's and time after time they change with the times and keep pushing new people.
So i call major bullshit into thinking that WWE is corrupted in anyway.

Saying that Cena is the face of the company is completely different to shoving him down our throats. Cena js he face of the company for a reason; there is not a single soul in the company that works harder than he does. Put yourselves in WWE's position: you've got the Rock, who's nothing more than an actor trying to make himself feel good again by getting a reaction from the crowd he walked away from a long time ago, then you've got CM Punk, and even though i love him, he has one of he biggest egos i have ever seen on a man, and no mattr what he will end up bringing the WWE bad publicity one way or another, and then you've got the undertaker, who only wrestles once or twice a year. Those are the possible faces for the biggest wrestling company in the world. And Then you've got the guy who works day in and day out, giving absolute 110% every single week for the company and sport he loves, sets an amazing example for the audience WWE is trying to target and even though he's not the best wrestler in the company, still manages to put on absolutely spectacular matches.
Now, you go and give me a valid reason why he should not be the face of the company. Its simple, he's hated because the fans are programmed by the internet to hate something that's not the indy feds, something that doesn't have "real wrestling" and john cena embodies that because he was home grown, not out of the indy circuit and nowadays that means that WWE made them, and if WWE - who's wrestling "sucks" compared to the indy's made them, then their first reaction would be bad. Nobody cared three years ago because people like Daniel Bryan and CM Punk weren't as big, but now that he indy stars are successful, the people with no life who sit there watching indy wrestling all day and have programmed it into themselves that everything in life thats not perfect sucks have managed to influence people into hating John Cena because he does his job well.
Saying John Cena shouldn't be the face of the WWE because you don't like him is like saying you don't think Trey Baxter should've been a World champ because you didn't like his writing style: he is a world champion for a reason, just like John Cena, and just because you don't like him (not that anybody wouldm't like you oz), that doesn't mean you have to start convincing everybody otherwise. Cena has held the company on his back for 10 years and he is the one of the legends of the business, and suddenly people start hating him for no reason whatsoever.
