[Jordan Storm was still hurting. Two weeks in a row, Jordan Storm had fought valiantly, only to lose the match. This one hurt a little more, as he was tag-teaming with a champion in MPW, the Sin City champ, Christian Carter. Jordan felt bad that he wasn't able to get the win for Christian, but as it would, Primal and Ian Andrews had picked up the victory.
Jordan really hoped he'd been showing enough for MPW management to take some sort of notice. Although it was very early into his career, Jordan felt that he'd had an optimistic start. Surely he'd been able to give everyone a taste of what was to come.
As Jordan sat inside his locker room just after TNT, beer in hand, slightly out of breath still, there came a knock at the door. Storm answered it with a simple "Come in" before continuing to drink from his beer. The door swung open and in stepped a middle-aged man wearing a suit and carrying what seemed like a notepad. Storm looked up from his bottle to the man, who smiled awkwardly]
Man: Hello. My name is Brandon Robinson and I was-
Storm: Wondering if you could score an interview with me?
Brandon: Well, yes
Storm: Just a quick one. How exactly did you manage to get in here? This place is strictly for MPW employees only
Brandon: Ah, well, you see, I managed to get a media pass. Rather reluctantly, security let me get one interview with one wrestler. I chose you
Storm (sarcastically): Wow, I’m so flattered
Brandon: Would you mind if we started this?
Storm: Sure, fire away
Brandon: Well, first off, how does it feel to have wrestled your very first couple of matches here in MPW?
Storm: I feel like I belong. I know I’ve been beaten in both matches, but the competition here is really fierce. I’m confident that with more experience here in MPW I’ll be able to really show everyone how good I can be
Brandon: How high do your feel your ceiling is?
Storm: I would say very high. I’m still young, still fresh in the wrestling industry and I feel that should I stay here in MPW that I’ll be able to reach that ceiling
Brandon: Do you believe in looking at your win/loss record?
Storm: To a certain extent. It’s never nice to be on a long losing streak, but what’s more important to me is putting in good performances. I would rather lose and put in the best performance of my life than win and have a half-decent performance
Brandon: Lastly, you will be making your Pay-Per-View debut at Aftershock. Any ideas who you’ll be facing?
Storm: Not a clue really. I’d just be happy to be on the card

[Jordan Storm received an enormous surprise when he woke up the next morning and logged into his emails. Still half asleep, he glossed over the email Bill Adams had sent him. But he was wide awake when he read he’d been in a match for a future X-Core title shot. Obviously, Jordan had done something right, otherwise there was no way he would receive a match for a title shot.
Storm then read his opponent: Fellow newcomer Calista Vandal, who had impressed in her first showing in MPW. Storm had seen her entire match and he had to admit, she had been impressive. Storm knew that this wouldn’t be easy, not by a long stretch. He knew he was in for a challenge and that Calista would bring that fight to him. But Jordan was also quietly confident in his abilities. He knew that on any given night, he could defeat almost anybody. Storm needed to take this mentality into Aftershock and he would stand a good chance. This was Jordan Storm’s chance to show everyone that he could perform on the big stage. He was ready to take that chance]
