(The scene opens up backstage at the Pauley Pavilion arena in Los Angeles California and we see can see a number of crew members walking about and doing their own stuff then we see Jason Xavier pacing himself in a small confided space in the backstage. Jason who is wearing some black jeans, a black short sleeve top and some black boots, his hair tied back notices the cameras are with him)
Jason X: So I see you have received my memo that I wanted some air-time before the show kicks off, I have been waiting all week to finally get my say about the pay-per-view tonight and hearing everyone run their stupid idiotic mouths have made me more angry going into this match. That is very bad for my opponents very bad indeed. I don’t doubt that my opponents want the X-Core championship but I doubt that they want it more than me. I want the X-core championship so damn much I can taste it in my mouth just there ready for me, and tonight I shall claim what is mine. But first I really need to direct my attention to my opponents. This match is a king of the mountain match a match where the five of us will look to gain victory and believe me I intend on winning.
(Jason smirks as he continues to pace around)
Jason X: First we have a guy called “Chicken” and chicken I’ve heard what you said, calling me a pussy and all. Believing that I am hiding behind TWI well you’re completely wrong but that’s what I can expect from a retard like yourself. I am in no way shape or form hiding behind anyone, I am aligned with the best that this company has to offer and I am proving myself every time I step foot in that ring. Every time I walk out and hit the ting I am proving myself, not just proving myself with Johnny Clash and Rage but also with the fans. The fans are also behind me because they know I am just like them, I busted my ass to get myself here and I will continue to bust my ass once I become X-Core champion. I am going to shock you tonight, don’t ever make the mistake of thinking I am a non-threat. I am an underdog that has overcome the odds on many occasions. I will do it again because I know how to dig deep down and pull off the win and I will tonight, I will showcase that. One thing I don’t appreciate you talking crap about my girlfriend Faith, you see that is where you’re going to get hurt that is where my anger will be released onto your pathetic excuse of an existence. Chicken you’re not going to make it near the end, hell you’re not going to be anywhere near being the final of the match because I’m going to make sure to get rid of your ass sooner rather than later.
(Jason pulls a bottle water from his back pocket and uncaps the lid and takes a sip)
Jason X: Next we have is Ash Soulsfate, a guy who has come out of nowhere and got himself into this match. You see Ash you may think you’re a big fish but I’m a shark and I pray on the weak and tonight you are weak. You see you seem to enjoy going through my career here in MPW and sure I have had some bad losses but all of them are going to be forgotten tonight when I claim the X-Core championship. I use every fiber in my body and soul to get in and prove everyone wrong. Ash Soulsfate I’m going to enjoy proving you wrong on everything you have spewed out this week, calling me a second rate athlete must have been a bad joke because I am not nor will I ever be a second rate anything. The reality check that will hit your face will be when I knock you out of the king of the mountain match. Show you up to being punching above your weight. When you step in the ring with me and I knock you on your ass, the reality will sink in. The reality of me being crowned X-Core champion when you see me arm raised and championship around my waist. Ash Soulsfate mock my name all you like it doesn’t matter the truth is I will overcome the odds stacked against me and I will become X-Core champion.
(Jason sits down up against the wall and the cameras change view)
Jason X: Next we have Kuk Killswitch a veteran of the ring and coming out if retirement. Well unfortunately for him I specialize in beating veterans, ever since I stepped in a ring veterans thought of me as being just a cocky youngster, I proved them wrong and beat them several times in the process. I have learned more since them days and now I beat you Kuk Killswitch, I don’t care what you’ve done in your career because to be honest you’re coming into the ring with me, the hottest property in MPW and soon the new X-Core champion. Your way out of your depth Kuk and I’ll show you are off whatever game you think you have left. You should be in a home somewhere telling stories about the good old days instead of getting in the ring with me. You’re out of your league old man and I’m going to enjoy putting you in your place. You call yourself hardcore so this match should be up your alley right? Wrong you have no idea who you’re going to be up against tonight. And that I laugh at because I’m going to enjoy watching you squirm.
(Jason X takes another swig from the water bottle)
Jason X: I want to say one final piece before I end this air-time I requested, and that is nobody in this match deserves or wants this more than I do. I will do whatever it takes in order to claim the X-Core championship and have it around my waist. Whatever it takes, I will take blood from each member of this match and hurt each member of this match including putting myself in danger. I will walk out the winner and prove everyone wrong and that I overcome whatever obstacles I get in front of me. So boys I’m ready I hope you are. Now get out of here.
