[We’re in Nevada with Jason Xavier, but we’re not in Las Vegas - he’s stood outside the State Capitol in Carson City instead, wearing a short-sleeved shirt, a pair of jeans, and a pair of sunglasses]
Jason X: Last week Nathan Styles got lucky my mind was still on the rat bastard Johnny Clash my mind was not fully concentrated on Nathan Styles. I know I have to clear my kind fully and focus on my match because my next match is ever so important my next match could be the real turning point I need to get out of this slump that I am in. This match at Uncivil War is for the number one contender for the Television championship. Just thinking about it really riling me up and getting me in that zone for what I need to do, I know I have a tough competitor against me and I know he is ready for our match. My opponent is Chicken. I look forward to facing Chicken at Uncivil War because I’ve got no baggage to deal with why Chicken however has one thing deep down in his mind is that he was handed this contendership match.
[Jason removes his sunglasses, taking a moment to put them in his shirt pocket]
Jason X: Chicken you and I are alike were both heading into this match with a slump of losses and were both been mistreated here, but were used to that aren’t we? Me and you have had to deal with the “Underdog” characteristic we’ve been given in life. But what I have done with that is I’ve excelled with it, I’ve showed up and I have fought my way through the rosters of whatever promotion I was in at the time and I earned people’s respect. I made sure I was never underestimated. I used my heart, passion and drive to add that extra fuel I needed when I knew my skills wasn’t enough. Which is why I was chosen in the first place to join True Wrestling Icons but as we see Johnny Clash is blaming everyone else for his short comings. I don’t care what happens with TWI I care for what’s going to happen at Uncivil War between you and me because we both need this. But It will be me becoming the number one contender and having MY career back on track. I never underestimate my opponents because I always hate it when I am being underestimated against so I will always give out that respect, but really Chicken your not going to win. You may want or need this to change you’re career just like me but my desire is stronger and deeper for me to win. I need this more than you aand I need that chance at the television championship. Once I get that chance and I beat your ass at Uncivil War I will skyrocket through and be a great TV champion.
[Jason gives a “You know what I’m talking about” shrug of the shoulders]
Jason X:Just a few days and were going to be in the ring at the Mandalay Center in MY City, I was born in Las Vegas and I rule this City. The fans are behind me because they know I am just like them. I will carry the television championship in great pride when I win it and I will be a fighting champion. Chicken you and I are very similar in many ways but very soon one thing for sure is it will be you lying on the mat looking up at the lights and knowing you’re career is still in a slump. That you tried everything and yet you couldn’t beat me. You cannot beat me. I will bring everything I have and more so against you, I will bring more than my A game at you and you better be prepared. You’ve got a fight on your hands a fight that you may not be able to handle. The question will be answered on whether or not you deserved it at Uncivil War I know I deserve this chance. I work my ass off too I bust my ass everyday I breathe. I bleed hard work and doing things the right way and I will EARN my chance at the television championship.
[Jason pauses, taking a piece of gum out of his jeans pocket and chews on it for a moment]
Jason X:This slump that I have been on is going to change at uncivil is going to go away for good it is going to be a bad memory that I will hide it inside my mind and know that my future is bright. That my future has the Television championship wrapped over my shoulder. I’m no stranger to the history of any Television championships because I have held a Television championship on three different occasions and became the second longest champion with an impressive 91 days of being champion. I know what the Television championship stands for and I will be a proud champion. I will wear that championship on my heart and it will take death for me to release the title.
[Jason X removes the gum from his mouth, wraps it in the foil wrapper, and flicks it in the general direction of the nearest trash can]
Jason X: Chicken you and I are going to have a great contest at Uncivil War but one thing is clear that the number one contendership IS MINE, I will Earn the chance to get the TV title shot and I will make damn sure I walk away being the new TV Champion.
