*** Beverly Hills… at the home of Tyler Rose. Here in the living room, we can see that he has decorated for the holidays. High vaulted ceilings, allow him to have a 10’+ tall tree, decorated with all manner of Xmas ornaments and multi-colored lights. The remainder of the house too, appears decorated with full-on Xmas décor.
Today, Tyler is having an “open house” for the adult entertainment community for New Years. There any number of recognizable faces about the property, from adult industry legends like Nina Hartley, to The Man himself, Hugh Heffner. Currently, we find Tyler sitting poolside with adult star Raylene, along with her husband. Tyler wears black dress slacks and shoes, and a gold long sleeved shirt, that has a red rose embroidered on the front pocket, his sleeves rolled up halfway to his elbows.[/i] ***
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] Thanks for stopping by guys. I needed this, let me tell you. We haven’t spoken to each other since we shot that scene a few years back. We used to keep in touch regular. I’m glad you could stop in for a bit, and let us catch up.
{Raylene}:[/b] It’s our pleasure Tyler. We wouldn’t miss this for the world.
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] So… I knew you had gotten out of the biz awhile ago. Guess the lure of the industry was too much eh? (Tyler grins)[/i]
{Raylene}:[/b] Truth be told, I needed the money. We’ve got a kid now, and let me tell you… my baby’s worth it! Besides, now I have him involved too (points to her husband)[/i] so we’re doing a lot of scenes together. But that’s enough about me, I hear that you’re struggling a bit in that wrestling organization you’re a part of?
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] You could say that. I mean, I’m not at the bottom of the barrel so to speak, but I’m not at the top either. And I know I’m good enough to be there. I’m just making some mental mistakes in the ring. And they do have a few on the roster than are talented.
{Raylene}:[/b] Well, I don’t follow that stuff at all. Tried watching some of it years ago, and it just fell flat to me. I know you Tyler, you’ll figure out what’s going wrong and fix it.
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] That’s what I’m hoping for too. I can’t afford to get too many losses on my record. Let’s just say that my employers expect results. They want to see gold around my waist, and so do I. The $$C.M.B$$ are not keen on failure.
{Raylene}:[/b] So, I’ve heard you talk about this $$C.M.B$$ before. They’re the ones who have you on their payroll in addition to this league you’re in?
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] Let me tell you how it works. They’re called the “$$Cash Money Brothers$$”. This is a worldwide organization that hires out contracted talent to wrestling organizations all over the globe. So, say I was a newbie who wanted to wrestle. I could get hired by the $$C.M.B$$, and then they would contract my services out to a league that needed talent.
{Raylene}:[/b] I think I’m getting it. And they also let you work in the adult industry? They don’t think you’re taking the focus off of wrestling? Seems to me like they would want you to eliminate your day job so to speak so you could give 100% to the wrestling. That’s what I had to do. I was in real estate, but when I decided to come back to the industry, I left that behind. I still have my license, so I can pick it back up if I wanted… but with my family and everything, having one career is the right choice for me.
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] Well, you see, the “Brotherhood” as they are also called, took their success and made it work for them in spades. They have their hands in A LOT of pots all across the globe. One of which is the adult company I work for, $ilken $ecrets. So, I’m making money for them at both ends of the spectrum. And when I do well in the ring, I tend to get higher DVD and Blue Ray sales. It all works out well together. And the adult industry is only the tip of the iceberg here. They have put their money in a host of business enterprises all over the place. It’s insane really.
{Raylene}:[/b] I’ve done a few scenes with $ilken $ecrets but nothing recently. I never really paid attention to who the parent company was. Where have I been to miss all of this?!
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] Well, to be honest the $$C.M.B$$ don’t make a big fuss about their businesses outside of wrestling. Yeah, some are related and if you’re a fan of the sport then you’ll be aware, eventually. Others… well they’re just avenues for revenue, and you may be a patron to one of them for years and never know they’re connected to the wrestling industry or the larger $$C.M.B$$ organization.
{Raylene}[/b] That is amazing! How in the world did you get hooked up with them?!
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] I had just started in the adult industry, and was still wrestling in a small league north of LA. There was one of their scouts there who watched my match. I did my thing in front of the giant crowd of 75 people, then had to rush back to film a scene. The guy seemed to like that I was an adult film star who was also wrestling. He gave me his card and said to call him when I had more time. I did, and the rest is history.
{Raylene}:[/b] In all the years we’ve been friends, you’ve never told me any of this.
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] I guess there’s never been a reason for it to come up. But now you know. It’s not like it’s a big secret or anything. Sort of like how you have friends who still don’t know you’re a porn star. Not that you’re deliberately not telling them, it just hasn’t really come up.
{Raylene}:[/b] I guess you’re right. So, you said they’re not fond of failure? Well who is? As long as you do your best, that’s all they can really ask for.
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] Not exactly. They want success, and when they don’t get it, they can eliminate you from the payroll rather quickly. I owe them a lot for my current lifestyle. My career wouldn’t be anywhere near where it is now if I hadn’t made contact with one of their scouts. I may not like their “win or die” attitude, but in one sense I can’t say I blame them. Besides, I want to win as much as the next guy. I’ve got a huge chance coming up in January. I can vault myself to the front of the pack and that’s exactly what I intend to do. First I just have to gain some momentum by winning against Cross this week.
{Raylene}:[/b] Well, you know I’ll be rooting for you. I might just have to order your match on PPV so I can see you in the ring. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a match of yours since we met. I guess I’m overdue.
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] I’ll say. You can be my good luck charm. Knowing that you’re watching can give me the boost I need to win and finally be at the top of the mountain where I belong. Matter of fact, why don’t I score you and your husband some tickets to sit ringside?
{Raylene}:[/b] For you… I’ll attend my first wrestling event. Well, we have to get going now. Have to pick up the kid at the baby sitter. It’s been wonderful reconnecting with you Tyler. Let’s stay in touch. And, I want us to do another scene together. Think you can set something up?
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] Definitely! I’m glad you stopped by as well. Once I have things worked out, I’ll give you a call. I think I still have your number. I guess I just got busy with other things and never thought about giving you a call. For that, I’m sorry.
{Raylene}:[/b] I did the same thing, so there’s no need to apologize. But now we’re aware, and we’re going to do better. We’ll see you around ok? Take care.
*** Tyler exchanges a heartfelt hug with Raylene, then a handshake and hug from her husband. He smiles as he watches them exit back into the house and out the front.
We skip ahead now to a MPW house show, where we are between matches at the moment. The arena lights dim, as a lone golden spotlight shines down on the entryway as “Bedroom Eyes” by Yngwie Malmsteen plays over the PA system. Tyler Rose steps out to a mixed reaction of cheers and boos from the crowd… though if forced to choose, the boos would easily win out. Tyler is wearing the same attire from his open house earlier in the day, as he walks down to ringside with a mic in his hand. An MPW camera crew has set up at ringside as well ready to capture an apparent interview. Tyler makes his way into the ring as the spotlight fades and the lights rise back to full. The music slowly fades as Tyler stands in the center, surveying the crowd.[/i] ***
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] I wanted to come out here tonight to announce my entry into the “Army of One” match. I’ve done ok in my time here in the MPW, but I know I can do better. I’ve been down the last couple of weeks, but don’t me out just yet. I’ve got an edge here, and I think it’s about damn time I started to make use of it. I was trying to make a name for myself on my own. Do things my way… and I can see now that it wasn’t working the way I intended. Not that I don’t have talent. The fact that I am where I am, doing what I do, shows that I have skill.
So let me just let the cat out of the bag as it were. You all know that I work for $ilken $ecrets, an adult film company in Hollywood, not to mention I’m on the roster here in the MPW. Well, that’s only half the story. I also work for a worldwide organization that I’m certain some of the so called “smart” wrestling fans have heard of. I’m speaking of the $$Cash Money Brothers$$. (boos from those who recognize the name)[/i] That’s right. I’ve been with the $$C.M.B$$ from day one. Now if you don’t know about this organization, it’s simple. They’re like a talent agency so to speak. They find wrestlers all across the globe, and then hire them out to prospective leagues who are in need of talent. It’s no small time operation either. They’re worldwide. They’re huge! They have offices here in the U.S., France, Japan, and the Middle East. South America is on the list for future expansion as well.
So what does that mean for the MPW and my career? It means that the MPW roster needs to wake up and take notice of ME! I’m not just another wrestler trying to make a name for themselves. I’ve got the money and power behind me and I intend on using it, and we’re going to begin that with my match this week. Cross… you wanted me to stack the deck in your favor, well so be it. Losing isn’t my style, and it’s damn time I stepped up to the plate and won some gold around my waist. We’re going to begin that by kicking your ass all over the ring, giving me some awesome momentum moving into the PPV later in the month.
I love what I do. Porn is a dream job, that the vast majority of the world will never get to see. (crowd boos)[/i] Go ahead, boo all you like. The truth hurts. Yeah, for guys like Cross… maybe wrestling in the MPW is his dream come true. He’s been in several leagues during his career, and maybe he’s found what makes him happy in life. But the fact to mine is – I like living the way I live, and to make that happen I need gold around my waist. I’m not going to have some two bit wanna-be talent keep me from the top. (crowd boos)[/i] That’s right. Talent is something that the $$C.M.B$$ know quite well; it’s their business to know. So, just because I’ve lost a couple of matches don’t mean I can’t outwrestle a guy like Cross when we meet on the 3’rd. If you don’t have it, they, being the $$C.M.B$$, won’t even give you a casual glance.
I love Cross'es quote about truth. I’ve been speaking it tonight, so take notes. The truth is – I am going to win on the 3’rd. The truth is – I am going to use this as a springboard to begin my rise to the top ending with a win at the PPV. The truth is – if you had even half the talent you think you have, then the $$C.M.B$$ would have already found you like they did me. (crowd boos)[/i] I’m not here to make friends. I’m not here to necessarily make enemies either. I’m here to win, to be on top of the mountain, and make my employers some money. If you get in the way of that, then you’re just another casualty on my rise to the top. That’s not arrogance, that’s TRUTH! And from what I can see Cross… you seem to love the TRUTH. I’m just not convinced you’re ready to deal with it and all the consequences it brings.
