----------BOISE, IDAHO;BRANDON NYTRUS PRESS CONFERENCE----------
Brandon Nytrus, Nikki Schott, Aaron Cruz and Randy "Roundhouse" Nytrus are all in a waiting area for Brandon's Unsanctioned Press Conference.
Brandon really wanted a press conference. Not needed for the event, but Brandon felt it necessary.
Randy: Ready?
Brandon: Let's do this.
The four of them leave the area. They walk out and Brandon stands at the podium while the others sit in chairs to the side.
The room is filled with people. The room is small. But it is compacted with at least twenty to twenty-five people.
Brandon: Alright, let's get this started.
Almost every person in the room raises their hand, looking ask Brandon a question.
Brandon picks a man in the front row.
Press: Hey Brandon, Eric Taylor, PWI... Lets get straight to the point... Are you concerned for your health going into Unsanctioned?
Brandon laughs and looks at his dad.
Brandon: Listen, Eric, this isn't anything for me to be concerned about. I think everyone in this room knows or should know my past with these kind of matches. I'm not concerned. I'm actually anxious to get inside of the ring with Kuk. I've been in this match before. Kuk hasn't. If anyone should be concerned its Kuk.
Another man is called on.
Press: Zach Redd, Idaho Pro Wrestling Report, is this match the end of Kuk and Nytrus?
Brandon: Is this the end? Listen, I know you guys are curious. But please, ask me some meaningful questions that I am interested to answer.
A woman is called on.
Press: Lisa Slavin, WTN, has any thoughts of Kuk's experience in hardcore matches crept into your mind at all?
Brandon: Now, that's a question. Of course it's entered my mind. But it never really bothered me. Yeah, Kuk has experience. He's been in matches that make people cringe and sick to even think about. But here's the thing. Kuk has never been in this match. He doesn't know the pain and agony you need to go through to win this match. Sure, you can look it up on YouTube and see how my old matches played out. But he won't actually get it until he steps in the ring with me next Friday.
A man is picked on.
Press: Ryan Michaels, Wrestler Digest, have you looked back on your tapes to see what has worked and what hasn't in these matches?
Brandon: I haven't. You wanna know why? Because I know what needs to be done. I know exactly what needs to be done to win. I've won in this match. I won a title in this match. I've ended a career. I've broken a streak. All in two matches. So, if you really want to talk about if I need to look back on what I've done? Then we can say this, The Hardcore Icon does not need to look back on his mistakes. That's why The Hardcore Icon is, The Hardcore Icon. Because he knows his mistakes and has built off of them...
Final question.
Brandon choses a man who is wearing a Kuk Killswitch t-shirt.
Brandon: This should be good.
Press: Yeah, um, why do you keep trying when you know Kuk is better than you?
Brandon becomes stiff. He doesn't move. He is looking down. He slowly moves his head up to look at the kid.
Brandon: What?
Press: I mean, let's be honest with ourselves here. He's been in more title matches and made it count. He's older and more experienced. He is a better hardcore wrestler than you and frankly he's more entertaining than you in anything.
Brandon is beat red. Shaking. So angry that he can barley move.
Randy realizes and grabs Brandon. Aaron helps and takes him away. Randy stays at the podium.
Randy: That's enough for today, tune in to TNT tomorrow night and next week and be sure to watch Unsanctioned!!
He hurries out with Nikki to tend to Brandon.
----------BACKSTAGE----------
Brandon is breathing in and out very deeply. He's laying on a couch where Aaron has handed him an ice pack to hold to his head.
Randy: You alright?
Brandon looks up.
Brandon: Yeah, I'm fine.
Nikki: Why was that guy so pissy?
Brandon sits up to look at Nikki.
Brandon: I don't know... All I know is that now, I have something new to prove. It's time for me to show that I'm the best hardcore wrestler in the world. I will beat Kuk and prove it. But I won't just beat the bastard. I will ruin his career. I will ruin his body... I will ruin his life.
The scene fades out on Brandon's face. Looking blankly in to the distance.
