*** Several years before cable TV began to branch out with so many “themed” channels, the organization known as the $$Cash Money Brothers$$ started their own network, known simply as $CTV$. It offers 24/7 wrestling themed programming, from standard wrestling shows from around the globe, to news, documentaries, films, even shop at home segments. The network has slowly gained a following over the years; also helping is the fact that they charge only $3.99 a month for the service. They take a bath on profits, but feel that offering such a low monthly rate will ultimately gain them more viewers, who will then spend the money saved on the higher subscription fees on other $$C.M.B$$ merchandise, or attending shows where some of their contracted talent will be wrestling.
We are currently in New York City, at the head offices of the $$C.M.B$$ Corporation, where one of the floors house the $CTV$ main offices and studios. Here we find what looks to be a news magazine style set, with a giant wall monitor behind a nice looking desk with 2 leather back bar/stool type chairs. Sitting in one of the chairs is someone who looks to be in his mid to late 40’s. He has graying hair, and wears a black designer suit and gold lapel pin with the $$C.M.B$$ logo; a wireless mic is attached next to the pin. Across from this gentleman is none other than Tyler Rose. Tyler is wearing black dress slacks, black dress shoes, and a black t-shirt that has “$$C.M.B$$” written in gold, and “Playboy” written in pink. He too has a lapel mic attached to his shirt.
Out from this set we have cameras and operators, and other industry people getting things ready for a taping. The countdown is given, then Tyler and the other man are told to wait for the music, as they plan to add that in digitally later on. Finally given the signal, the other gentleman smiles and speaks.[/i] ***
{Vance Newton: Hello, and welcome everyone to Wrestling Review, I’m your host Vance Newton. This week we have the opportunity to speak with someone that has been making quite the name for himself out in Hollywood, and in the squared circle. Yes, I’m speaking of one “Playboy” Tyler Rose, so welcome Tyler.
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] It’s great to be here Vance. I’ve been saying for some time that I need to come to New York and be on your show, but this time I’ve finally made it a reality.
{Vance Newton}:[/b] (smiles)[/i] I’m glad you decided to come out. The Brotherhood have had a lot of talent come through the door over the years, but you’re the first one that is trying to wrestle and keep an active film career is that correct?
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] That’s right Vance. Though, at the time I began, I didn’t know it would be this difficult. I mean, I don’t work every day of the week in film… I might shoot over the weekend, or one day midweek or something. That’s what I like, the flexible schedule. Which is why I decided I wouldn’t stop making movies to wrestle, I would do both.
{Vance Newton}:[/b] Now, let’s be honest and up front at this point Tyler. When we say you work in film, what we really mean is that you are an adult actor – a porn star.
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] That’s right, I’m not hiding it. In fact, I’m proud to be in the adult entertainment industry. (grins wide)[/i] I get to have sex with the most beautiful women on the planet, and I get paid for it. How amazing is that?!
{Vance Newton}:[/b] But Tyler, there are those who love to point out that adult entertainment is as fake and unreal as most reality television. That a lot of the so called beautiful women, are simply going through the motions as it were, and actually doing their craft well. That is, getting the viewer to believe that she’s having the time of her life, when in fact she is far removed from even being turned on.
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] There are many out there who fit that description Vance, I won’t lie to you. But I work a company under the $$C.M.B$$ umbrella… $ilken $ecrets. Their motto is – “We put the REAL back in Reality”. There is nothing fake about the scenes I shoot, or who I shoot them with… well, unless you count a boob job. (Tyler chuckles at his joke)[/i]
{Vance Newton: Well, now I feel we need to get more serious in our conversation. Back last fall, you joined wrestling league known as the Millennium Pro Wrestling. You started off a bit shaky, but then your career began to rise, and now you’ve apparently hit another slump. Can you speak candid for our viewers? Is the MPW simply too much for you to handle?
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] (irritated)[/i] Hell no! I’m still working on specifics, but I know that’s not one of them. The MPW does have decent talent, but to move beyond Vegas and the surrounding area, they need more. That’s why I was contracted out to the roster. I may have spread myself too thin, I don’t know… but it’s not because I can’t hang with the guys and girls. I’m every bit the wrestler they are, maybe more in some cases.
{Vance Newton}:[/b] I see. I’ve noticed that you’re also the only $$C.M.B$$ employee currently on the roster. Are there any plans to get more talent there along with you, or are you strictly going to be a solo act?
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] I’ll tell you what I know. There could be a chance the Con$ortium may make an appearance. But that’s not my focus at the moment. Right now, I’ve got a triple threat match for the TV title, not the mention the Army of One match at the PPV.
{Vance Newton}:[/b] Now the Con$ortium was a group made up of various members from all facets of the $$C.M.B$$ correct?
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] Correct. Different styles, different gimmicks, different ways of doing things in the ring. But we all had one thing in common – we were part of the $$C.M.B$$. A showcase of the best the Brotherhood had to offer. It does resurface, I have no idea who will be joining me. Hell, I’m not even sure if I’ll be there, if I can’t pull it together at the PPV.
{Vance Newton}: Yes, I’ve heard rumors that your MPW days could be numbered if you don’t begin to turn this around. Do you think your $$C.M.B$$ career is at stake as well?
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] You know the answer to that one Vance. Success. That’s what they want. That’s what they demand. You get on the payroll here because you’re good at what you do. Not just good, great. You do it better than almost anyone else. When you’re no longer making any money for them, they simply prune the tree and move on to another branch to pick more fruit.
{Vance Newton}:[/b] I do know and understand that all too well. And considering the money they have invested in a talent such as yourself, can you blame them?! So, has this new found sense of urgency changed your training regimen at all? Or even your adult career? With the stress, are you even able to go at peak performance?
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] (takes a deep breath)[/i] Vance, I’ve done something I never thought I would do. I’ve cancelled any scenes until after the PPV. This means I’ve not had sex in over a week! I’m going through withdraws but I have to remain strong. This PPV isn’t the end of Tyler Rose, it’s the first day of the rest of my MPW career. I’ll be leaving either as TV champion, number one contender to the World Title, or both.
{Vance Newton}:[/b] (surprised look on his face)[/i] I can only imagine what you’re going through. But in the end, having your hand raised as champion is worth it. Since we’re speaking about the PPV, do you have any words for your opponents in this Army of One match? 29 other contestants all with the same goal in mind as you – to be the last man standing and earn that shot at the World Title.
{Tyler Rose}:[/b] I do have some things to say. Thanks for giving me the chance to speak my mind. I won’t go too long, I know you’ve got other questions you want to get to.
A simple idea really. 30 individuals, entering the ring, until only one is left. Each and every one is entering that mach with the notion that they are going to walk out of it the winner. They will get their hand raised, and move on for a shot at the World Title – the belt that everyone in the MPW wants around their waist. So what makes me any different than the rest? Would you choose to believe me over the other 29 people who will no doubt be getting on camera to make similar statements? Do I want it more? Am I hungrier than the others? I do want that title shot, and I am hungry for gold around my waist. But that’s not what’s going to get me to the end and having my hand raised in victory.
$$Cash Money Brothers$$... a name synonymous with wrestling for years. Yes there are many in the world who don’t know anything about them, but at least in the MPW that is all about to change. They are my leg up. They are my ‘extra’ that will push me over the edge to victory. I’ve been training down at the “Model’s Gym” on the $CMB Isle$. You know that it’s a state of the art training facility Vance. The best and latest workout equipment you could ever imagine. The top trainers in the world work for us, and I’ve been down there with them preparing for this match.
Mock matches… yes I’ve asked 29 guys to compete in mock Army of One matches with me. I’ve started as number one, started in the middle, and even as the last entrant. I’ve been learning how to conserve energy for later in the match, how to hold on for dear life if I get out on the apron. Now, none of these guys are in the MPW true… but our trainers have had them watch lots of MPW footage. Every single person on the roster that has the potential to enter this match, they have watched and studied and tried to work out exactly what they might do in certain situations. I’m going to be mentally and physically prepared for this match. This is my chance to get a shot at the top prize in the MPW and I’m not letting that slip through my hands. Others can say what they want, but I know I’m going to be the most ready, the most prepared, in this one of a kind matchup.
It’s not always about domination. Sometimes you have lay low and pick the right time to strike. I don’t have to eliminate all 29 other contestants. All I have to do is survive to get my hand raised. Maybe I’ll eliminate all 10, maybe just 1… or I might not eliminate anyone. That doesn’t matter. It’s all about getting to the end, and I’m going to be ready for it. I see the light at the end of the tunnel, and there’s no way in hell anyone is going to keep me away from it!
Vance Newton:[/b] Very good commentary on this upcoming contest and how you’re going to fare within it. We’re going to take a short commercial break, but when we return I want to speak to you about your other match at the PPV, where you will face not only Jason X, but Roxi for the Television Title.
*** The production assistant gives the ok that the cameras are off, and Vance stands up from his seat to stretch. He asks someone to bring him some bottled water, and receives one for Tyler as well. [/i] ***
{Vance Newton}:[/b] We’ll begin the next segment in a few. Oh, and I’ll be sure to send this footage to the MPW production team for their promo show or whatnot. Can’t be sure if any of them over there subscribe to this channel. And you gave some really good material. I think the rest of the MPW need to hear it. We’ll do the same with the next segment.
*** Vance gets the go sign that they’re about to begin filming again, so he takes a final sip of his water, then sits back down in his chair. A makeup artist rushes on and does some touchup work to Vance & Tyler, before quickly exiting as the countdown begins.[/i] ***
