(((The scene opens up to the MPW locker room where Army of One is set to take place in less than 24 hours. We are currently in the locker room of Andre Dixon as he is sitting on the couch talking with his manager/agent Blake Gold.)))
Andre Dixon: I decided that I'm not joining the Rumble.
Blake Gold: You and Trey both...
Andre Dixon: Speaking of Trey. Has he said anything to you about me?
Blake Gold: Just keeps asking why you keep attacking him...why do you keep attacking him?
Andre Dixon: Hahahahaha! Because it's funny as shit!
Blake Gold: So Johnny Clash doesn't have anything to do with it? Or Age of Arrogance?
Andre Dixon: Look Johnny's my boy and all but you know damn well I wouldn't do anything I don't want to do. My boy Johnny and I have an understanding.
Blake Gold: And Age of Arrogance?
Andre Dixon: What's not to like about those Australians? Cool ass dudes right there. Plus my boy Drake Hunter is about to win that damn rumble and then go on to probably become the next World Champion. He's THAT good.
Blake Gold: I don't know about all that. I've heard a lot of great things about this Tristan Slater guy.
Andre Dixon: Tristan Slater? This guy thinks he's the best in the world and talks about how he came from great federations before this. The dude came from the XWF REBOOT. Not the real XWF that has been legendary for years. We're talking about an era of the XWF where the older legends weren't even allowed to compete. I'm supposed to be impressed that he's been beating guys like Cyren and Peter fucking Gilmour? Are you kidding me? Somebody needs to put dude in his place and I don't see a better person for the job then my boy Drake Hunter.
Blake Gold: You don't like Slater huh?
Andre Dixon: I don't like guys who think they're better than everyone else when they obviously aren't. This skinny piece of shit wants to walk into our company and act like he's better than us? I've got something for his ass if I'm given the opportunity. My guess is once he loses in the Rumble he'll take his ass elsewhere.
Blake Gold: So what's this I hear about you and Chris Cable getting a tag title shot?
Andre Dixon: Tomorrow night son! Cable and I will bring those titles back to where they belong. We will make sure that they finally start meaning something again.
Blake Gold: What do you mean?
Andre Dixon: I mean we've had reject after reject after reject hold those belts. They've gotten to the point where they aren't even worth anything. It's time to restore the prestige that they are supposed to hold by putting the belts on two guys who are two of the best wrestlers in this company. Cable and I are going to DESTROY Ian and Taufik on our way to becoming the tag team champions. After that nobody will have a chance in hell of ever taking those belts from us. I'm sure the fans will hate it but that makes it even better. Knowing that those ungrateful piece of shit fans don't want us as tag team champions will make it that much sweeter.
Blake Gold: Don't you think you're underestimating your opponents a little bit? They've been champs for a while now...
Andre Dixon: Only because they haven't had any real competition. Real Steele was supposed to be some of the biggest competition they've faced so far and Cable and I embarrassed them last week. It wasn't even close. The same goes for our match at Army of One. It's a mismatch no matter how you look at it. Cable is better than both of them combined and quite frankly so am I. It's time for things in the MPW to move in a new direction. It's time for these people to see who really is the best tag team in the world. And that's us!
Blake Gold: I understand you not thinking Ian Andrews will put up a fight but what about Taufik? They guy is a former TV Champion and has carried that tag team the entire time.
Andre Dixon: Don't get me wrong Taufik's career here has been impressive for some people. He's a former TV Champion and there's no doubt he's been carrying Ian and those Tag Titles. The thing is they haven't faced a team like Cable and I. I'm not too sure about Cable's past but I know I have dominated companies before. You know damn well that I've been a World Champion in EVERY single company I've ever been in. If I wanted to I'd enter this rumble, kick everyones ass, and walk out the new number one contender to the World Title and later on I would go on to win the World Title because that's what I do. I know I haven't come out wanting much here in MPW but I'm content with who I am and what I've done. I don't need that World Title...not yet at least.
Right now I'm worried about getting the belt that got me started in the wrestling industry. The first belt I ever won as a wrestler were the WGWF Tag Team Titles. The worst part was that I never even lost the belts. I had them taken away from me without me even competing in the match. That's not going to happen this time. This time Cable and I are going to take those Tag Team Titles and aren't going to drop them for a long, long time. No matter what anyone else says or does. I can't wait to see people try and take those belts from us. It will almost be more fun than actually winning them for the first time.
Blake Gold: I guess I can't argue with what you've done. I would say that you should never underestimate your opponents no matter who they are. You've been upset before and it could happen Thursday Night at Army of One.
Andre Dixon: Don't worry about me. I'll take care of business and I know that Cable will as well. Ian and Taufik's time as Tag Team Champions is done. Believe that.
Blake Gold: That's what I like to hear. I've got to get out of here though. Got a flight to catch.
Andre Dixon: You coming to Army of One...
Blake Gold: Sorry man...I can't make it.
Andre Dixon: Of course you can't...
(((They get up and say they're goodbye's before Gold makes his way out of the locker room and the scene fades to black.)))
PROMO:
Here we are ladies and gentlemen. One night away from the biggest Pay Per View of the year. Could you ask for a better lineup than Army of One? Every title on the line including the World Title and that's not even what the show is about. It's all about that big main event. The actual Rumble. I know a lot of people are wondering whether I'll join or not but as of now I'm going to keep that quiet. I guess you will have to wait and see whether I'm in or not.
The thing I'm here to talk about though is your NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD: CHRIS CABLE and Andre "The King" Dixon. That's right once Army of One goes off the air it will be a night where everyone will be talking. And you know what they'll be talking about? They'll be talking about Cable and I. They'll be talking about Johnny Clash. And they'll be talking about Drake Hunter. We are going to go in and dominate the competition and at the end of the day Age of Arrogance will hold almost every single title. The fans will hate us and everyone else will want to be us. It's as simple as that.
As far as our opponents in this tag team match we're going up against the amazing team of Ian and Taufik. How the fuck are these two rejects the champions right now? Is this some sort of sick joke? You're telling me that nobody has been able to knock these guys out and take those titles back? It's time for Cable and I to put those titles where they rightfully belong and show the world that the MPW Tag Team Titles are something that everyone should want.
Ian Andrews? I really don't know what to say to you even. Saying you're terrible would be a huge understatement. You've been carried along on the ride with Taufik and were rewarded the tag titles when, honestly, neither of you really deserved the shots at the belt in the first place. It's funny to me to see all these terrible teams be given title shot after title shot when guys like Drake and Cable were sitting there much more deserving. You guys can't hide anymore though. Your string of terrible competition has come to an end and now you're going to have to face a team who actually has a chance to beat you guys. A team who actually deserves to be fighting for those titles. I hope you enjoyed your time as a champion Ian because it's about to come to an end and honestly it could be the last time you're ever a champion. Sorry bruh.
Then there's Taufik himself. The guy who is carrying the team. Is that really saying much though? You're the better out of the two but that doesn't even really say anything. You've had singles success and tag team success here in the MPW but you have NEVER beaten an opponent as good as I am. You have never been in the ring with someone who can dominate the competition like I can and have. It was a good run while it lasted though Taufik. You can now say that you're a former TV and Tag Team Champion and that's something not many people can say if any. You will always have that. Now it's time for you to drop the dead weight and try to go win something on your own because these Tag Titles of yours are as good as gone. You have no chance of retaining them and I'm pretty sure everyone in the world, including yourself, knows that.
Consider this a favor though. After this you can kick Ian to the curb just like you should have done long ago. Now you won't have anyone holding you back and you can maybe go win that TV Title again or at least compete for it. But your time as a Tag Team Champion is over. And as long as Cable and I hold the titles you're not going to have a chance to ever get them back. Sorry man...at least you've got that cool green shirt...right?
As for any other tag teams out there wanting to get their hands on that gold all I can say is bring it. I know Cable and I will walk out of Army of One as Champions and after that we welcome any and all challengers. Things are about to change here in the MPW and it's not what the people are going to want to see. Are you going to be able to deal with it MPW? We're coming...whether you like it or not...
Andre Dixon: I decided that I'm not joining the Rumble.
