Scene opens on Gabriel IN a wrestling ring sparring. Gabriel Irish whips his opponent into the ropes setting him up for the Beat-U... His opponent springs off the ropes right as Gabriel executes his finisher with perfection. The sparring partner lands unconscious. Gabe bends over his fallen opponent, slaps his cheek lightly to wake him up.
Gabriel: Nice work Steve. Good job today.
Steve: ugh, good for who Gabe. <Steve holds his head as he stands up on shaky legs> I feel bad for your opponents.
Gabe: Thanks. I got a week of training left before my audition with MPW. I Have to be on my best as I am wrestling something named Zaver Friday.
Steve: Really, not really sure on who he is. But you will be ready.
Gabe: That’s the plan bud. This new life as a pro wrestler got me pulled into different directions. I think we can call it for today. Meet back tomorrow 8 am?
Steve: Can we make it 9 I got a headache coming on. <Steve smiles as he walks away and slides out of the ring to leave.>
<Gabriel makes his way to his bag holding his clothes and picks up his phone. “Love Twitter” he mutters under his breath as he begins posting a few tweets about today. Tossing his phone back into his bag Gabe grabs his water bottle and drinks heavily from it letting the cool water refresh him. Scene fades as Gabe grabs a towel and heads into the showers.>

Sunday
Scene opens with Gabe dressed in a pair of shorts and a Predators hockey jersey texting on his phone. He is relaxing in a hotel room. He finishes and sets his phone aside. Then it rings and Gabe answers it.
Gabe: Hello, what? You're where?
Gabe gets up from the chair and makes the short walk to the door and open it up.
Gabe: Scottie, what’s up, how did you find me out here.
Scottie: Normal ways. I snooped.
Gabe: You did what?
Scottie: Yea I know your boxed up ready to leave the house, Well, we kinda went through it so your Kitchen box may actually be books now.
Gabe: Lousy Son of a bitch.
Scottie pushes his way past Gabe to sit in one of the chairs.
Scottie: So tell me how this wrestling thing is going so far.
Gabe: Well its going great. My provisional contract is signed and so I have my first match on Thursday against something called Zaver. Apparently he is some former champion from some other league that went under.
Scottie: You worried:
Gabe: Nah, I feel really good about my match, been working hard for this match. Remember the Iowa meet? How hard we worked then?
Scottie: Yea? You were crazy prepped working in the gym and watching tape on the Iowa kid looking for weaknesses.
Gabe: That was nothing compared to what I am doing. I have found several old matches of this thing called Zaver and have him as scouted as I can. I have a workout schedule that has me in the gym either keeping loose or working on the mat. I know the talent in the MPW is up there so I gotta stay ahead or I will be lost in the undercard.
Scottie: Dude that’s crazy, you really aren’t taking any chances are you.
Gabe: Not on your life and well frankly not on mine either. I got a feeling this will be tough but I am confident I will win and Zaver, or whatever, will know what its like to attend "Beat-U"
Scottie: I like it Gabe, so can you get me in backstage at the show. Have you met anyone yet?
Gabe: We will see buddy. I hung out with Cami James at last weeks show, she was nice enough to show me around, not sure who will be there backstage this week. So tell me what’s been going on?
Scene fades with Gabe and his fraternity brother laughing.

I have been waiting for this my whole life. Years of amateur competition, years of training. I have bled for my time in the ring. I have never tapped out in the collegiate ranks. This is my time to take my place with the great wrestlers. My journey starts here.
That’s right, Starts here. Thursday night I get my "audition match" with the MPW. I am going to wrestling something called Zaver, apparently a former champion. I watched the tapes, I've scouted you Zaver. You have skill but you are not polished. You wrestle to sloppy to prove to be much challenge.
This match will be more of a remedial lesson then a true challenge. It is almost laughable that I need to audition but hell I get it. They want to keep me down, force me to earn my dues, but no matter how hard anyone tries to hold me down, cream always rises to the top.
Zaver you are the first to be enrolled in my classroom. The MPW superstars will have you as their test subject. It will be a good thing for them to see just what it means to be enrolled in Beat-U.
Get ready MPW, It’s my time now.

Scene opens with Gabe on set of his promo. He is relaxing in a director’s style chair enjoying a bottled water, talking to a video producer.
Gabe: Hope that was good enough. Its not easy when your putting something together from nothing. I feel like there are places I can improve.
VP: You did fine kid for your first official promo. I am sure once you get a few rivalries going you will have more creative things to say.
Gabe: Yea I suppose. I just want it to be great, not just good. <Gabe’s phone beeps and he looks down to see he has some new tweets. Picking up his phone he types and sends a few messages.> Oh well it will have to do. I have plans to meet a friend for dinner now. Thanks for all your help
VP: Not a problem kid.
