[The MPW Television champion Jason Xavier appears. However there is no ring, there is no crowd, there are no distractions at all, just Jason, and a camera fixed on a tripod at his hotel room]
Jason X: So here we are another week and another show ahead of us but let’s recap of last week shall we. Last week was Ultimate X-scape match and I was focus and fully prepared to go through hell to win that match but prior to the match just literally a few hours prior to the show kicking off it was announced by The Powers That Be that if whoever wins would then get a Television title shot and if I would have won I would have the opportunity to pick my opponent for said Television championship match. So there I was fully prepared and confident then this curve ball came out of the blue and threw me off. Last week I did not win the Ultimate X-scape match Tyler Rose did, and now Tyler Rose gets the chance his been waiting for. He gets a shot at MY Television championship. Don’t get me wrong I am a fighting champion and I will defend my Television championship against all comers but what I don’t appreciate is being forced to put up my title. That is wrong, being forced to put up my Television title on the line is completely unfair but one thing is for sure I will prevail.
[Jason is sitting down on a hard plastic fold out chair. His gleaming Television championship belt lays on Jason’s lap. Jason is looking down at his belt, his eyes pasted onto the belt that bears his name.]
Jason X:I will overcome the odds stacked up I will overcome what is placed in front of me and show everyone that Tyler Rose does not have passion for this business. This business is a side gig for Tyler Rose and he has admitted it, so the only good thing I need to do is extract him from MY business. Give him the reality check that he has been needing for some time now and make him leave my company and business. Tyler Rose I know you consider wrestling a side gig but I consider it my life. My blood my oxygen I need to be in the squared circle to live and nothing can stop me. Being in front of our fans gives me an adrenaline rush that there is nothing like it, not alcohol not drugs of which I have never done not doing any other adrenaline like sports activities wrestling is the ultimate ecstasy and I need it. I put everything on the line each time I go out there and it shows while you strut around here thinking you’re a wrestler, no you’re a disgrace is what you are and this week you and everyone else is going to realize it.
[Jason pauses for a few lingering moments. In the back we can hear the sounds of the traffic outside. Jason looks up for a minute to stare at the camera. His face etched with seriousness and motive.]
Jason X: You keep talking about Redemption and redeeming yourself but with redemption means there’s actually good inside you. And there’s no good inside you Tyler so there cannot be any redemption on you. You do not love the wrestling business therefore you cannot redeem yourself. You’re going to hell Tyler because this week I am going to kill you motherfucker. I am not just going to showcase my talents I am going to end your journey in wrestling business. You maybe be there thinking that I’m blowing hot air or this is a false threat, I can tell you this never underestimate me. Bad things happen when people underestimate me Tyler, this isn’t a false threat. This isn’t an idol wish this is a promise this week on Takedown were going to see the last of Tyler Rose.
[With that, Jason takes his title and places it over his shoulder. He looks down once again, this time with his eyes fixed on the floor. Jason takes a deep breath and exhales in a deep sigh.]
Jason X: I have slaved my entire life in getting to this point in getting to be an established athlete that I am not going to slip up. This curve ball that was thrown by The Powers That Be will be overcome and I will ride into Road 2 Glory still Television champion. I continue to perfect my craft in this company with the honor of being Television champion with this being the second Television championship of my career I know what responsibility lays ahead. I know that I am a target for the roster but like I do I will prevail. I will not fall at the first hurdle I will not surrender the person I am and I will conquer and kick ass.
[Jason scoffs as he looks around his basic hotel room. He then chuckles lightly before looking right back at the camera. We can hear the sound of a loud honking noise coming from a car horn.]
Jason X: Knowing the responsibility that comes with being champion I thrive on it, it fuels my passion even more and makes me an even more cunning athlete. I will outdo myself this week and show why I deserve to Television Champion, why I deserve the acknowledgement I get. While Tyler Rose continues his downward spiral into the abyss of losers that MPW currently have that are fighting and clawing them towards my title but just like this week I will wipe the floor with them.
[Jason gives a soft laugh at this. He smiles confidently at the camera, snagging his Belt over his shoulder.]
Jason X: This title means the world to me, I’ve been champion for a while now and I lead by example, I am not using the Television title so it’s a stepping stone I know I’m going to go on and do greater things whether inside the MPW or in another company but I am the standard if you want to become Television champion. I raise the bar and I raise the stature of the Television championship. Before me it was nothing more than a paper-weight since I have become champion a host of competitors wants it. But they’re not going to get there dirty hands on my title. I will beat off competitors left, right and center and I will fight tooth and nail to keep it. That is the love I have for my belt that is true love I have for this sport.
[Jason’s smile slowly evaporates to the serious look he had to start with. He takes a long lingering look at his championship belt once more.]
Jason X: If you look around you can see MPW is stacked with talent men and women but if you’re champion you’re in higher regard. You’re status doubles and along with money too, but I never stepped foot in a ring for money only for my love for this sport. I will prevail and keep my Television championship this week because of my unmatched work ethic and heart.
[Jason leans forward in the chair looking intently at the cameras. His eyes fixed on the focal point of the camera, as if he was staring into the inanimate objects soul.]
Jason X: Tyler Rose and I have been in a war for quite some time now back and forth but I got the gold first, now I get to dissect him bit by bit, piece by piece I get to provide unbelievable amounts of pain and humiliation on towards him and I shall do just that. There’s nothing I won’t do to keep this title, there’s nothing I won’t do in order to win and I will show that. I will provide the cunning athlete I am and show the world why I simple deserve to be Television champion. I’m going to exploit your weaknesses in our match Tyler and pick my moments and then strike. I will attack every opening I see, you have no chance Tyler. I am not handing this title over to you I am not going to lay down and let you beat me I am going to prevail. I am going to kick ass and I am going to win.
[Jason scoffs again while leaning back into the seat slouching just a bit as he gave another deep sigh.]
Jason X: My talent will be acknowledge-able this week in a high stakes match a match that was forced upon me and me a match I will conquer. I will succeed and overcome the forces of The Powers That Be and I will flip them the finger too. This is my title bitch and it isn’t going anywhere.
[Jason takes the title off of his shoulder and holds it up to the camera.]
Jason X: Do you see the name? It says Jason Xavier and it will remain engraved on this belt until I see fit. I take my duties as Television champion with the utmost respect and I have the love of being champion, I do not want that love gone from my hands. I shall fight, I shall win and I shall remain Television champion.
[Jason gives a dark look at the camera; he stays quiet for a few moments. Just thinking, he clasps his hands together one clutching another tightly.]
Jason X: I’m aching at the fact that time is almost up for Tyler Rose, tick tock Tyler this is your only and last chance at my television title, and I am ready I am prepared and I am here for war.
[Jason looks outside the window before pointing a finger at it.]
Jason X: If you look outside soon I will have an arena full of fans wondering if I can remain as Television Champion, and that answer is yes. I have busted my ass for this belt and I will gain the rewards with a victory over Tyler Rose and banish him from my business that I love wrestling. I will earn my victory and I will continue to earn the right to be Television Champion this week.
[Jason is seething at this point with a pissed off look on his face. He was ready to start his title match right now. He looks down at his title belt pausing for a moment.]
Jason X: I am ready right now to go Tyler and I will conquer and succeed having you under my boot and finally saying goodbye to you, so Tyler I am ready for war, are you?
[With that Jason gets up from his chair and walks over to the camera and shuts it off. Now outside of the shot, we see Jason take in another deep sigh as he takes the camera off of the tripod and starts to watch his promo work. Jason looks over his work and analyzes work as he always does. Jason is much like a shark in the water, always looking out for weaknesses in himself and in other people to. He had to know what about himself, his game could be exploited. He had to show no fear, no weakness, no remorse, he had to be stone. And that’s what he was going to be.]
