[The scene opens with Emi lying on the couch moping.]

Oh, hi MPDubbleverse. It's been a while since you've read any of my internal monologues isn't it? Well, that's because to be honest I'm not feeling my usual self today. You probably know why, since I know you guys saw Road to Glory the other night. My first loss in the history of ever, and I didn't get my shiny shiny. Oh man, if this is what losing feels like then I don't like it. Honestly you guys, don't expect much here. I'm totally not up for an adventure this week...
[Kenji walks in and sees Emi still moping on the sofa.]
Are you still moping? Don't you have a photo-shoot in like half an hour?
*sigh* Go away.
Come on Emi! You can't keep sulking like this. I know you lost your first match, but losing is apart of the game...
[Emi sighs again.]
I miss Cami!
I do too, but she's out of town this week, so you'll just have to cheer up. Hey, you still have me don't you?
Meh...
Come on, don't you wanna dress me up? Don't you wanna force me to dance? A game of table tennis? You know, do all the things usually do together. How about it?
*sigh* Nah...I'm not in the mood...
[Kenji sits besides her and pats her gently, trying to comfort her.]
Okay, well I just got my car back from the garage. If you want I'll give you a lift so you won't be late for your shoot.
Yeah whatever...not like I have anything better to do...
Okay...
[Ten minutes later, Emi has already changed into her swimsuit ready for her photo-shoot. Kenji follows her out of the flat and into his car. She sits in the passenger seat and sighs in boredom. She still looks depressed.]
Oh, by the way. I found this pretty pink slingshot in the pawn shop. Thought you might like it...
[He hands the slingshot over to Emi. She holds it in her hands and blankly stares out the window again.]
You sure you wanna do this?
[She nods.]
Okay...on we go then...
[Some time later... Evening falls, and Emi is on her way back from her photo-shoot, wearing nothing but a pink dressing gown wrapped around her swimsuit. She didn't call Kenji for a lift home, instead she decided to walk home, since it was a warm night. She is clearly deep in thought, not really paying any attention to where she is going.]
I don't know, things aren't the same without Cami. I know she has her own life and that we can't be with each other forever, but having her at home with me as been absolutely awesome. I have four brothers, but they're all back in Japan with my family, and they're like at least six years older than me. I've spent most of my life here in America since I was four so I didn't really get to grow up with them. Living with Cami is like living with the older sister that I never had. I miss her...
[Emi suddenly stops and looks around, unfamiliar with where she is.]
Wait, where the heck am I?
[She then hears something from a distance. She continues further down the road and the sounds become louder. There are skyscrapers on both sides of the road, but strangely there is no traffic. Emi reaches the a crossroad and as she turns to her right, she is surprised by what she sees.]
What's happening here!?
[She sees a huge wreckage. Broken cars are scattered across the street, buildings are smashed and debris is all over the place. Random people are running and screaming in terror. A random middle-aged woman rushes up to Emi in a state of panic.]
Please...oh god please...I can't...ahh...
[Emi is slightly worried.]
Whoa, calm down lady. What's going on around here?
[The woman struggles to breathe.]
Please...please help...I need to get...we've gotta...please...he's here...
Who's here?
Golytrus! He's here!!
Golytrus?
Big...f***ing...monster!! I...I can't breathe...
[The woman stumbles and collapses on Emi. Emi throws her off, but as she does the slingshot from earlier slips out of the pocket of her dressing gown. A small crowd of people notice this and approach her. A bald man points at her suddenly filled with relief.]
Look! She has the legendary slingshot! She's come to save us!!
Heh? Who me!?
[They gather around her now with looks of hope in their faces.]
The prophecy foretold that a scantily clad hero with a pink slingshot would come and slay the Golytrus that has plagued this city for years!
How far did I walk!?
Have you come to rescue us from the dreaded Golytrus?
Umm, actually...
Hey, what the hell are you doing!?
[He smiles joyously.]
It is! It's the scantily clad hero just like in the prophecy!!
These people are idiots...
Now look, I don't know what this prophecy is, and on another day I'd be more than happy to help you guys out, but honestly I'm not in the mood right now. Can someone please just give me some directions...
[Suddenly a young Jersey girl snaps at Emi.]
Yeah I knew you weren't. This fugazi is nothing more than a fake!
Excuse me?
You come here parading like you're all fresh to death, but you're nothing more than a fake landmine!
This girl is nuts...
I don't know what you mean by landmine, but I assure you I am not fake!
Then prove it! Slay this beast and we shall help you make your way home!

Oh thank you so much hero girl! Golytrus is a few blocks down that way. We wish you the best of luck!
[The crowd of people cheer her on as she reluctantly makes her way through the destroyed street with her slingshot in hand. She mumbles under her breath.]
I'm soooooo not in the mood for this...
[glow=red,2,300]***[/glow]
[Emi turns around and peeks over what remained of a destroyed telephone box. There she gazed at the monster she was appointed to slay. It turns out to be a giant, just as tall as the buildings around him. He's busy pummeling a small computer store into dust with his back turned away from Emi. She lets out a hesitant gulp.]
I wish Cami were here right now...
[She quietly creeps forward, approaching the giant as carefully as possible. She crouches down to one knee before holding up her slingshot. She grabs a stone from the ground and puts it into the sling before firing it at the giant. It has little effect. The giant then turns around, and Emi freezes like a deer caught in headlights. The giant looks down at little Emi, who crumbles onto her backside in fright. The giant then speaks in a deep booming voice.]
Well well well! Who is this I see and smell?
[He reaches down, grabs Emi and holds her in front of his huge face. Emi is only the size of his little finger.]
You thought a mere stone could break my bones?
Egad man! Ever heard of a breath mint!?
Look Mr. Golytrus, honestly I'm not in the mood for this. Can we like have a fight some time next week or something

EWW!! I didn't ask to be drenched in saliva...
You want to fight, but not on this night? No, not tonight, not any night! You cannot beat me, many have tried. And those that have said otherwise, they all lied. Everyone is against me, so they all conspire against me. You will fall just like the rest. You will die painfully at best.
Enough with the rhymes already. Everything you're saying is complete jibberish...

[Emi suddenly wiggles out of the giant's grasp. She falls back onto the ground and lands on her feet like a cat. She looks up and Golytrus seems upset. He raises his massive boot and hovers it over little Emi, but before he can drop it and squash her, an anonymous figure suddenly swoops in and rescues her. The hooded figure carries her into what's left of an abandoned building, already destroyed by the wrath of Golytrus. The monster roars outside, believing that he had successfully crushed Emi.]
Wait, I'm still alive!?
[Emi tries to look at the face of her hooded savior, but he or she doesn't let them. The figure then speaks in an unrecognizable voice.]
Are you alright?
I...yes I am. Thank you.
What were you thinking? Taking on Golytrus with nothing but a slingshot to your name?
Not just a slingshot... I do have this cool swimsuit you know...
I agree it is nice, but a swimsuit and a slingshot alone cannot stop Golytrus. I know what can help you defeat him.
Oh who cares? I'm not in the mood for any of this. I don't want an adventure tonight. I couldn't get my shiny shiny and I miss Cami! I don't wanna do any of this Super Shiny Tiger Twin stuff on my own. Can I please just go home!?
I understand. Your first loss is always difficult to cope with, and I know what it's like for a close friend to move away for a while. But you cannot go on moaning like this. It is not the end of the world. You will have plenty more chances at winning, and your friend will return very soon.
[Emi is confused.]
How do you know...
I just know alright? I also know why Golytrus is so mad right now. You see, for quite some time he has been after the Egg Core.
The Egg Core? What is that?
The Egg Core is an ancient piece of golden treasure. Many men and monsters have sought this prestigious treasure, but none more than Golytrus. The giant went insane trying to retrieve the gold. He held it once, but it was immediately taken from him. He recently came close to finally retrieving it again, but now he has lost it, probably forever.
You mean he lost his shiny shiny too?
Exactly. Now he blames everyone else for his loss. This is why he is attacking this city...
So he loses, blames everybody for losing and throws a tantrum all over the city? Wow what a baby... Just because he lost doesn't mean he should act like a...
Wait...this sounds familiar...
[Emi finally gets it.]
Okay. I'm ready. I'm gonna face Golytrus and kick his big ugly butt right now!!
[The hooded figure stops her from walking out of the building.]
Wait, you still need this...
[He hands her stone, made entirely of gold.]
Ooooooh shiny!!
It's a stone chipped from the Egg Core. It is more than enough to slay Golytrus.
Wait, that means you touched this egg thing?
I too came close to retrieving it recently, but for the greater good I sacrificed it to stop Golytrus from taking it. Someone else now holds the Egg Core, but as long as he holds it, it will be out of the grasp of Golytrus, for he just cannot beat him...

You probably will...but please remember this. Emi Yamamoto, we will meet again. Good luck, and goodbye for now.
[The hooded figure bows down to Emi, and she does the same. And then, in a flash, he disappears. Realizing what has to be done now, Emi takes a deep breath and musters the courage to step back out into the open, holding both the slingshot and the piece of the Egg Core behind her back. It is now night time, and her first glance upon stepping back outside the Golytrus still smashing his fists into a random building in the same street.]
HEY YOU BIG DUMMY!! COME AT ME BRO!!
[This catches the giant's attention. He turns around and sees Emi challenging him. He gives a wicked grin before making his way towards her. This time however she doesn't appear intimidated, she stands tall before him, even though she is still the size of his little finger.]
Oh ho, so you have returned? I thought a lesson you have learned. I thought I smooshed you before, so I will enjoy it now even more!
[Emi suddenly screams up at him.]
Shut up with those dumb rhymes! You think you're the real deal around here but you're not! You're just a big bully who throws a hissy fit because he can't get his way! Face it, you lost the Egg Core fair and square, so stop complaining!
[Golytrus looks cross.]
I did not lose square! It isn't fair! I work for nothing! I want at least something! It's not my fault I lost!!
Yes it is! You've gotta stop blaming everyone else for your loss. Just admit it, you lost. I know it's hard. You see, I lost too last week. It was my first ever loss too. And it was on the biggest night of the year! Yeah, at first I didn't take it very well, but now I realize that losses are nothing to pine over. Losing isn't the end of the world, and if you can't cope with a loss, then you have no right to call yourself a winner at anything! I admit it, I lost, but that now only encourages me to try harder next time. You should admit it too, and stop pinning the excuses on others, because if you can't admit that you lost, then how can you learn from your mistakes? Oh sure, I may not have my shiny shiny, but there will be plenty of chances for me to win it, and heck, maybe I could win an even shinier shiny while I'm at it!
[The giant seems oblivious to Emi's little speech.]
Enough! You and your words are fake. Leave now or I'll turn you into a pancake!
Fake? How am I fake? Because I actually admit my mistakes? Because I actually admit that I lost? Or because I don't take s**t from evil freaks like you!?

[The giant suddenly snatches Emi back into his hand. He holds her in front of his face once again.]
You can't beat me!
[Emi responds by placing the Egg Core fragment into the sling and aiming the slingshot at the giant's eye.]
Just try me...
Take this!!
[Snap!! The slingshot flings the gold fragment right into the giant's eye. Golytrus recoils in agony as he drops Emi back onto the ground. The earth rumbles and shakes as Golytrus holds his face and howls in pain.]
Oww!! No fair!! I can't fight my own battles all by myself!!
[He groggily wanders into the distance, and from the distance Emi can see him pass out. The random people from earlier finally and slowly emerge from the remnants of the street, and upon seeing Emi standing triumphant in the middle of the road, they rejoice and applaud the efforts of their hero.]
Just as the prophecy foretold! She has defeated Golytrus!
She's fabulicious!!
Oh thank you kind warrior! We shall help you return home! May you be blessed for all eternity!
Didn't know people still talked like that in the 21st century...
[The crowd gathered around their hero. They all aided in leading her back home. The crowd dispersed once she reached the end of the street where her apartment was, still sharing their appreciation with her. One of the people remained, holding the fragment of the Egg Core that was used to defeated Golytrus.]
Please take this, as a token of our appreciation...
[Emi refuses to take it.]
Keep it. I'll get my own shiny shiny eventually.
[And with that said, the last of the city folk leaves, with the Egg Core piece in hand. Emi can see the sun starting to rise from a distance. Dawn has come. Emi takes a deep breath before stepping into the apartment.]

[In the flat, Kenji is pacing back and forth restlessly. He stops as Emi carefully creeps through the front door. As she steps in Kenji rushes towards her and gives her a tight embrace.]
Emi! Where the heck have you been all night!? I've been worried sick! You left your cellphone here, I've been calling Cami and the police and everything! I thought something bad had happened to you! Where have you been!?
Awww sounds like someone missed me...
It's alright Kenny, I'm fine! I just had an unexpected adventure that's all...somewhere in South Boston I think...
Well I'm glad you're alright. This place would be too boring without you! You're still not upset about losing your match or Cami not being here are you?
Nah. I know Cami has some other stuff to take care of. I do miss her but I think I can cope without you. After all, I still have you right? And you know what? You were right. Losing isn't the end of the world, it's all a part of being a professional wrestler. I know I might lose a few more matches along the road, but that's alright, as long as I try my best every time, it'll all be worth it in the end...and besides, I'm still undefeated in singles competition, and I don't intend to lose this week! I just hope my opponent has learned his lesson by now...
Speaking nonsense again...it's good to have the old Emi back!!

[Emi struts into the flat, still in her swimsuit. She is still holding her slingshot in her hand. Kenji looks confused.]

[Emi spins her slingshot in her hand and slides it under the lace of her swimsuit bottoms.]
