(The scene opens up, the whereabouts unknown. But we know we see Jason X who is wearing black jeans, a black hooded jacket with the hood covering his head and underneath a baseball cap, Jason is leaning up against a wall somewhere as the cameras zoom in)
Jason X: People have asked me a question all week, the same question over and over and that question is why? Why did I trash and destroy announcers table last week costing MPW thousands in dollars well here is my answer and that is simply frustration. Anger and frustration because for months now I have been in a downfall in form and I have been losing constantly, that has put pressure on me. Not by the fans or anyone in MPW but by myself because I know I’m better than this, I know I can win matches and pick myself up from a defeat and come back stronger than ever but for some reason it’s not happening. For some reason I cannot have a win, I mean c’mon Gabe Griffin thinks his a top man by beating me last week. News flash I am way better than you I’m just in some sort of funk and a funk I will climb out of eventually.
(Jason comes off from leaning up against the wall and the cameras
take him all in from head to toe in the frame)
Jason X: For weeks and weeks I have been busting my ass in training harder and faster and praying that I get a win, but I don’t. It has taken its toll on me but something about me is never going to quit, I’m never going to give up and end it all. I’m going to continue to work hard and maybe just maybe I can start winning again.
(A smirk appears on Jason’s face)
Jason X: But now I need to direct my attention to my opponent this week, Matt Steele. You see Matt I know you, you’re a tag team specialist that is one of the best tag teams in MPW but you’re not a singles competitor. I hate tag teams and I hate relying on someone to help me win I rely on me and I will overcome this funk that has fallen on me. You on the other hand rely so much on your brother, which will be your downfall which will be the first step on my road to recovery by beating you and I will.
(Jason looks into the camera)
Jason X: I know what you’re thinking though Matty boy, you’re thinking that if Gabe Griffin can get a win over me than you can too. Well guess what? You can’t. It is going to be impossible for you because I have more hunger to get out of this funk than you do as a singles competitor. I have more desire to recover from these bad times of mine and rebuild my place. I need this win Matt and I’m not going to allow you to take it from me I’m going to allow any distractions I might have to allow myself to lose. I will climb out of this situation and I will get a victory.
(Jason’s leans back up against the wall)
Jason X: I deserve to get out of this funk that I’m in and I deserve to be climbing the ranks of MPW sooner rather than later, this is just a blip. This whatever you want to call it will soon disappear and I will be back to winning ways because that is the kind of person I am. A man who overcomes the odds against him sort of man. It is a matter of time and just a few days because my first victory since I can’t remember when is coming in the form of Matt Steel.
(Jason looks deep into the camera)
Yes Matt Steele I mean you, I say that this week is the start of my winning ways because I am going to beat you. With every inch of my being I will do just that. I’ve got nothing left to lose and my only way is up so why not start with you. Why not start with a guy who specialist in tag teaming and why not start with a guy who while in this funk of mine cannot hold a candle to me. Sure you’re a great tam team but I haven’t seen you in any singles action and that’s where I will overcome. My experience in singles action will see me raised as the winner and finally start to ease the pressure I have put on myself. You’ve got no chance Matt Steele.
(Jason looks smug into the camera)
Jason X: You’ve got no chance in beating me and getting a win over me, I have this in the bag. I have this already won just on the fact of the singles action experience because I know what it takes to rely on yourself, I’ve been doing it all my life. Since day one in this business I have relied on number one and that is ME.
(Jason continues to look into the camera)
Jason X: Matt Steele pay very close attention I am going to win this week on TNT not because I just want to but because I NEED to I need this victory a whole damn lot and I need to recover from this dip in form that I am having. No matter what I do I will win, I will do whatever it takes to win I will lie, I will steal and I will cheat to win but winning is the only outcome I see, nothing else matters and neither do you.
(Jason puts his hands together by his face before speaking)
Jason X: So Matt Steele come prepared but come prepared to lose on TNT this week my friend.
