I’m Baaaaaaack
Scene 1:
The scene opens up on Brandon Nytrus. It is a close up from about mid-chest and up. He lifts his head and makes eye contact with the camera. He smiles.
Brandon: Millennium Professional Wrestling is a place of opportunity. Of change. Of life altering moments that define a wrestler’s career. I know that, I’ve been here for a year now. When I arrived on the scene, this place was just starting out. Now, a year has passed and we’ve achieved global success.
He laughs for a second.
Brandon: But one thin hasn’t changed. And that, is the same people are on top. The same people are winning the championships.
When I joined this company, Trey Baxter was the MPW Champion. He had won it from Jackson Blaze. And what the fuck do you know? Both Jackson Blaze and Trey Baxter are Tag Team Champions.
That leads me to my point. You see, I have battled Trey a number of times for that distinct and glorious championship. But, I had failed on each attempt. A man of my talent and brains deserves every chance he wants. And what I want? Is that Sin City Championship.
Jackson, I’m talking straight to you. I may have been out of action for a month or so, but that doesn’t mean I still can’t rip you to shreds. I’ve watched you since you returned. I’ve watched every move. Hell, you can even say I’ve been stalking you for all I care. Doesn’t matter to me. What matters, is that championship. And at Goldrush? That’s exactly what I’m coming for.
There’s a second of Brandon chuckling, then the scene fades out to black.
Scene 2:
Brandon arrives at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. He exits his car and walks to the back door. Once he opens it, he is met by familiar faces. None say anything. He smiles at the fact but continues on.
He walks up to a door and sees his name posted. He opens the door and waits a moment before entering as he takes a moment to take in the air in his locker room. He smiles and walks in. Setting his bags down by a couch, he looks on the coffee table and finds a note.
“Brandon,
I think you know who this may be. But, I wanted to let you know anyway. I’m glad your back. MPW has missed you, my friend.”
He smiles and puts the note back on the table. There’s a knock at the door. Brandon is a bit reluctant to answer, but then there’s another knock.
Jay Wyatt: Brandon!? Brandon!? It’s Jay? Jay Wyatt.
Brandon sighs
Jay Wyatt: We just want a few words… We know you’re in there!!
Brandon sighs heavier and walks to the door.
Brandon: What?
Jay Wyatt: We just want a few words.
Brandon takes a look around and lets them in.
Jay Wyatt: Okay, let’s get this started.
They get into “interview position”.
Jay Wyatt: Hello MPW Nation, Jay Wyatt here with newly returned Brandon Nytrus.
First off, Brandon, what have you done to get yourself to return here to MPW?
Brandon smiles.
Brandon: Jay, I’ve been working myself to the brink. Lifting weights, running miles on end. I pushed myself to the limit each and every time step in the gym. Now, I’m twenty pounds heavier and its all muscle. No fat.
Jay Wyatt: Okay. So, now, let’s talk about the incident at MPW Uprising. What’s up with that? Why Jackson?
Brandon laughs.
Brandon: You know, I’ve answered this question many times over the last couple of days. It’s all about the ranking factor. That’s it. There are two men that have run this company since I got here a year ago. Trey Baxter and Jackson Blaze. When I come back, they have most of the championships in the company? Listen, I know what Trey would say if asked about why I wouldn’t come after him. He’ll say that I’m afraid. That I know I can’t beat him. Listen, I know I have failed before. But this time, I will not. You see, I know Jackson. Possibly more than he thinks I know him. Goldrush will be the end of his reign. Trust me.
Jay Wyatt: So this week on your return to Takedown, you take on the Television Champion, Lucas King. What are your thoughts on that and how will you prepare yourself for that match?
Brandon: I’m not very worried about it. This guy is new. He has never met me nor has he ever faced me in the ring. And if he has? I don’t remember because he was that irrelevant. What I have to say to him? Lucas, that championship doesn’t say anything. It means you got lucky and you probably caught the former champ on a bad day. Don’t get me wrong, you’re good. I’ve watched you. But you’re not as talented and as skilled as “The Hardcore Icon”. That title usually serves as a blanket, to cover up your real flaws. Not only will I expose them for you, but I will show the entire MPW Nation your flaws and faults. They will leave this arena and question if their Television Champion is really worthy of holding that pristine gold around your waist.
Jay Wyatt: Thank you, Brandon.
Brandon looks at Jay as he walks out. The scene fades out to black.
Scene 3:
”The road to recovery is a long and hard road. But the road to get better is harder. You see, the difference between the two are one is you need to get to a certain place. The other? You’re in the same place and you need to grow to get to the next level. You know what the recovery should be. You dream of what you could be if you strive for excellence. MPW should be ready for what I have to bring to this company from now on. The MPW Nation has seen Xtreme.0. But I’m ready for Xtreme 2.0.
