(((We open up to the Iconic Aggression locker room where we see MPW TV Champion Lucas King and MPW Sin City and Tag Team Champion Jackson Blaze sitting on the couch watching Brandon Nytrus' most recent promo.)))
Jackson Blaze: Can you believe this guy?
Lucas King: What you mean?
Blaze: This guy actually thinks he's better than me?
Lucas King: He's just mad because we're on top. He's mad because you and Trey always have been too. Since day one it's always been about Trey and yourself and now about me...
Blaze: Yeah about Trey and me...we've always run shit here and we always will.
King: And me...
Blaze: Yeah...and...you....
(((He shakes his head as they continue watching the promo.)))
King: Damn...this guy cares more about you than he does me. He say's he's been watching you bro...that's kinda scary.
Blaze: It is...
King: Apparently he's coming for your Sin City Title...
Blaze: He can TRY to come take it from me all he wants.
King: I'm new? I might be new but I bet I have close to as many wins as this guy and nowhere near as many losses...you know...seing how I haven't even lost a match yet.
Blaze: This guy is smoking some good shit. That's all I know. Speaking of which...I gotta go...
(((Blaze gets up and says goodbye to King before grabbing his things and leaving the locker room. King finishes watching the promo and as it ends, turns the TV off, and then turns his attention towards the camera crew. He thinks about starting to talk before deciding to stand up. He has an Iconic Aggression shirt on, some basketball shorts, and his TV Title draped over his right shoulder. He comes closer to the camera and then looks straight into it and begins to talk.)))
Lucas King: Let me go ahead and start out by talking about Uprising. The event where Iconic Aggression's takeover became official. A night where everything went right for us and everything went wrong for everyone else. We continue to prove how much better we are then the competition.
One thing I continue to hear is how much better Trey and Jackson are than me. And...honestly that might be true. They are the more accomplished, that's for damn sure. The thing is I've consistently proven that I'm one of the best in this company. I have also consistently proven that I am the greatest TV Champion the MPW has ever seen. I've been champion for almost 3 months and there is no end in sight. I plan on dominating this division for at least a few more months before I decide it's time to move on to bigger and better things.
For now though my goal is to continue to be the greatest TV Champ in the history of this company. Gabe came into Uprising thinking he was going to take my belt from me. He came in so confident that he was better than me but at the end of the day it was the same exact result as all my other matches. I'm a very impressive 8-0 here in the MPW and have already successfully defended my title twice against two guys who are considered to be the best in this division.
So who's next? Who is the next person who steps to the plate and tries to take this from me...
(((He pats his TV Title as he looks at it before turning his attention back towards the camera.)))
Lucas King: Who out there thinks they've got what it takes to take this title from me? For me, it really doesn't matter who I face. Bring on anyone and everyone there is and I will put them down. This title means way too much to me and to my career for me to let it go now.
A few months ago I had never stepped into a wrestling ring before. And look at me now. Now I am hands down one of the best wrestlers in the greatest company in the world. On top of that I am a part of the best stable in the world. It's getting to the point where guys are scared of us. Guys are so scared that they are packing they're bags and taking they're game elsewhere because they know they can't compete against us.
I can't blame them though. I wouldn't want any part of us either. We ARE that good. If you come to the MPW you better damn sure know that you are going to go through us if you want any chance at being successful or any success at being a champion.
And that includes you Brandon Nytrus. This is the first time we are going to be in the ring together and I for one am looking forward to it. I love guys who come out and think they're better than me. We're talking about a guy who has been here a hell of a lot longer than me and has done a lot less and he still thinks he's better than me? How so?
I know you were given a few World Title shots back in the day and you fell short to my boy Trey Baxter, like most people do. Now you seem to have your eyes set on Jackson Blaze and the Sin City Title.
(((He laughs for a moment.)))
King: In my opinion you're not even good enough for the TV Title, but honestly that's just because I'm the champion. I make the title a lot better than it is just because I hold it. And, in most eras of the MPW, you would probably have a chance at winning the Sin City Title. Hell, you're one of the few people who have competed for the World Title. You know what's different now though? ICONIC AGGRESSION!
That's whats different. The difference between now and the old MPW is that you have to go through one of us to win any of the titles. And unlucky for you, if you want the Sin City Title, you're going to have to go up against Jackson Blaze. A guy who hasn't lost since coming back. Hell, none of us have lost a match since joining forces and that's not going to change anytime soon.
(((He pauses once again to clear his throat. As he looks into the camera his face becomes very serious this time.)))
King: I don't mind you overlooking me, I really don't. I'm used to it by now. Everyone just thinks I'm some sort of joke and that I'm nowhere near as good as the rest of Iconic Aggression. And it's that type of stuff that drives me to be even better. So go ahead and look ahead towards Goldrush and towards Jackson Blaze.
Meanwhile...I'll continue to take it one step at a time. I'll continue to beat the guy that's put in front of me as they continue to underestimate me. Claiming I'm either not as good as the rest of Iconic Aggression or claiming that I can't be a threat because I'm only in the TV Division. But as you guys continue to underestimate me I continue to pull out wins. Which is all that really matters. To me at least. I don't give a damn what any of these guys think about me as long as I continue to do what I do.
As far as catching the former champ on a bad day, yeah I might have done that. But I also must have caught the other top 3 contenders on a bad day too, right? Seeing how I won the title in a King of the Mountain match that had 5 people in it, not just against the champion.
But...you know what...don't worry about me. Take me lightly and it will just make it that much easier for me. You want to prove you belong in the ring with Jackson Blaze? Well I'm going to show you that you don't even belong in the ring with me...
(((He smiles before walking off and out of the locker room as the scene fades.)))
