“No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new.” - Steve Jobs
*Let’s Begin Shall We*
~The scene begins with Crow sitting alone in a barely lit room, where the only light source is that from a nearby window with the moon shining through from it. Crow leans back on a throne and looks into the abyss of the darkness as though he’s in a trance. This is the scene for a good while until a figure comes walking from out of the darkness and makes her way towards Crow. The female is in a white wedding dress with a white vale covering her face. Her black hair is done up, as though she is truly going to a wedding. In the back ground, Crazy by Patsy Cline plays. The female stops in front of Crow and looks at him for a good while before finally speaking.
Crazy
I'm crazy for feeling so lonely
I'm crazy
Crazy for feeling so blue
I knew you'd love me as long as you wanted
And then some day
You'd leave me for somebody new.
Female: “My poor husband. You’ve truly gone mentally insane haven’t you? I thought you were messing around for all these years, just acting this whole thing out. You’ve completely gone off the deep end, though, haven’t you? Is this the man that you have truly turned into? A monster? A freak? A mental psycho path? What happen to you? You used to be a good man. You were a loving man who cared for people. I don’t even recognize you anymore.”
~The female pauses as she begins to circle Crow.
Female: “Though, I can’t blame you for changing. After my death….after the death of our unborn child……it hit you hard mentally. You were a total train wreck. I was your only thread to reality after your Mom killed your Brother and Father……right in front of your face. A kid at your age should have never seen such a tragic event go down with their own eyes. Did I really mean that much to you, though? To take your own life like you did? You could have moved on with your life. Fell in love again with some other girl. You could have chosen a better life. Instead, you took a bullet to the head….all for me. You know I would have objected right?”
~She stops next to the side of Crow and places her hand on Crow’s face and begins to rub the side of his face with her hand.
Worry
Why do I let myself worry?
Wondering
What in the world did I do?
Female: “I would have wanted you to move on with your life. I know it hurt. I know you were mad with my death. I know you were depressed. I know you were saddened…..but you made the wrong choice when you decided to pull that trigger and end your life. Now……now we’ll never see each other ever again because while you burn in hell for your actions here on earth…..I’m up in heaven…..so ashamed for what you have become.”
~She pulls her hand back and begins to circle Crow again, as he just sits there, staring in the darkness.
Female: “Sure, you can blame the demons and the voices in your head…..but is there really a demon or voices in your head……or is it something that you made up, something that you created when your parents died, and when you shot yourself in the head with that bullet, that part of you was awaken. It’s all in your head Crow. Rise above it and be the man that I know you are. Bring back my husband that I knew and loved. Then maybe, just maybe, we can see each other again.”
~She stops in front of Crow and leans over to him, where the two are only inches away from each other’s faces.
Oh, crazy
For thinking that my love could hold you
I'm crazy for trying
And crazy for crying
And I'm crazy for loving you
Female: “You destroyed everything that represented me in your life. You turned my corpse into ashes, turned my headstone into rubble, burnt the house down that we once lived in with everything that I owned. You did it all to get away from me and so that no one would use them against you, since I was your only weakness. But, all that hard work to forget about me, it’ll never pay off because I will always be in your head……. I know I never got to say this before I died, but……”
~She grabs the vale from her face and pulls it upward to show not a human face, but a human skull.
Female: “I love you.
Crazy for thinking that my love could hold you
I'm crazy for trying
And crazy for crying
And I'm crazy for loving
You
~She slowly moves closer and kisses Crow on the lips. The scene suddenly turns black.
*Hours Later*
~The scene begins with the sound of classical music playing in darkness. The darkness is soon turned to a bright light as we can see the camera entering a circular room. It’s a classical type of room with a marble floor, vases of pottery, and on top of this room is a glass ceiling where the sun is pouring through. In the middle of the room stands a man in all black working on a painting. The man brushes away at the canvas as the camera tries to get a better angle at the man behind the canvas. The man, though, holds up the brush to motion not to take another step. The camera obliges and looks around the room some more until it stops at a small pillar, about hip high, with the mask of Crow’s laying on top of it. The camera pans back to the man behind the canvas as he begins to talk.
Crow: “I like playing games. Growing up as a child, I would play board games like Sorry, Hungry Hungry Hippo, Checkers, and Monopoly. Those were the better days in my life where I didn’t have to worry about my existence in this world. No taxes, no responsibilities, no worries. I don’t play those games anymore because they don’t catch my attention like they use to. It’s too simple and to bland for my taste these days. The game I like to play now is called Torture. Anyone can do it and you can use about anything in the house to play along. But it’s how you participate and conjure up ideas that make you a master of it. The difference between myself and these so called people that like to hurt people is that they don’t know what they’re doing. Their sloppy. They don’t think about where to make the cut and which bones to break. They just stab away, hoping that they’ll accomplish something. So unprofessional. People who don’t have the skill and the steady hand to take that knife and begin to cut away at someone while still trying to keep them alive……because the longer you keep them alive, the more pain they suffer. The more pain they suffer, the more they cry out in pain……...(Slight smile on his face)……..and the more pain they breath out………..the happier I become.”
~Crow pauses slightly as he leans back to look at his art, but goes right back to painting as he continues to talk.
Crow: “I’m not like most typical people in wrestling. I don’t have the looks that fans would like to see. I don’t have the body that people want to have some day. I’m just a normal day Frankenstein monster that’s being held together by duct tape and bubble gum. My body is covered in scars from past hardcore matches and I wear the mask because I have a huge gap on my left cheek. When you look at someone like myself………. if you were to look at my flesh……..if you were to look at my soul……..you would see an individual who’s been in pain for decades…….and who has enjoyed every moment of it. Causing people pain……it’s like a drug to me. Just that rush of adrenaline going through my body when I see someone’s blood on my hands……hearing that gargling sound of screaming……the reaction on their faces as they look at you when you break a bone on their body…….if there was a drug that could let me have that feeling on a daily basis, I’d stick that drug into a needle and pump it into my veins and get high off that drug on a daily basis and become I am a junkie for pain. Sadly there’s not, so I have to do it the old fashion way……that’s ok though, I still love that rush for the hunt.”
~Crow pauses from painting looks over at a picture of a smiling Angel Kash on a nearby wall.
Crow: “Normal people would call you beautiful Kash. Such a beautiful face. Such a cute smile. Perfect teeth. Flawless cheek bones. Golden hair. So perfect…….almost too perfect for my liking. I look at you Kash and……….ooooh this is my favorite part in the piece. Shhhh, listen, listen, listen.”
~Crow pauses with his painting and listens to the chorus of music. He lifts his hands in the air and motions his arms with the music as though he’s the conductor of the orchestra. This goes on for a few seconds until the music dies down once again, causing Crow to stop.
Crow: “Aaaah, such a great piece of art work wouldn’t you say Kash? I mean, I know it’s not like today’s music of Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. People today have it so easy when it comes to music. Everything is done so much by computers that it almost ruins the sound today. Plus, there’s so much technology that it dumbs down the music. This music, though, this was made when there was no technology and no computers to make this sound great………... but look at me, rambling on about a type of music that’s slowly dying away……….and yet, will continue to still be around in the near future. This is about the two of us Kash. Now where was I at before I was interrupted?”
~Crow pauses as he taps the end of the paint brush on his chin. He stops as he now remembers.
Crow: “Ah yes. Your beauty…….or the beauty that you hide to everyone. See, when I see someone like yourself Kash, I feel pity. I feel saddened. I look at someone like yourself and I can see the tears in sadness in your eyes because the life that you live right now………. the life that you flaunt around in……..it’s not the life that you want to live is it Kash? Now, before you start to call me a liar and an idiot, let me explain my reasons for my statement because it may open a flood gate of emotions that you have locked up for decades in the back of your mind.”
~Crow pauses for a moment as he goes back to painting.
Crow: “You live a lie Kash. You live a life that was forced on you and you want nothing more than to escape it. You hate the life that you live and you want to escape it all, but you can’t for some reason. Maybe because of a mother or father who would be so disappointed in you for not living up to their standards? Maybe friends who would judge you wrongly for what you truly want to become. Or maybe it’s a man in your life…….the perfect man that you’ve always wanted. You’re knight in shining armor to take you away to your fantasy world. A man, that if you were to truly show who you truly are, he may run away in fear for not being able to understand or judge you wrongly. Whatever the reason is…….I can see past the mask that you wear. I see the true you underneath your make up and the plastic surgery. I see a child that is lost and scared and doesn’t know what she wants to do in her life. She’s lost in a world that is so confusing with so many people that will judge with their eyes and tones of voices. Scared to be the woman that she truly wants to be.
So Kash, if I’m right of course, what is stopping you? What is stopping you from fulfilling your destiny? Name them in your head. Write them down. Make a drawing of them. Think of those individuals and then………burn them all, because if they don’t accept you for who you truly are……then they aren’t your friends. They aren’t your family. They aren’t the true loves in your life. Take the mask off Kash. Show the world your true beauty. Let them see past the make-up and the bitchy attitude and show them a new Angel Kash. Show it to them…….or I’ll show it for you. I’ll take you off your high pedestal. I’ll chop your legs down with a rusty axe and bring you down to my level Kash. I’ll bring you down so that you can see how the real world is and not the fake little one that you prance around in. I’ll dig my finger nails into your lids Kash and show you a world that you’ve so blindly been ignoring for all these years. I’ll show you everything Kash. I’ll show you how the real world is. And you will cry. You will feel sadness in your heart. You will finally understand what life is all about. And with this new information, you will look at the person that you are…….and you’ll finally see who you truly are Kash………just another sad and pathetic human being. And then, after all is said and done, you will thank me.
Now, I know that you’re going to put up a fight Kash. People in your situation always do because people in general don’t like change. They like the life that they live in and they don’t want anything to change about it. I’m sorry to say Kash, but change is a coming if you like it or not. So I’m going to inflect this change the hard way because it’s going to be the only way that you will eventually understand. Pain is like an art Kash. I take something ordinary or something that’s supposed to be sexy, such as yourself, and I turn it into something completely different. I want people to look at my art work and see the before and after picture, and I want them to have that question of “How did such a beautiful thing turn into that?”
I already have something in mind for you Kash. See with our match, I plan on working that pretty little face of yours. I’m going to soften it up with my fist at first. Then once I softened you up, I’ll hit you with the Angel Eyes where I will pin you for the win. After that, that’s when the real magic begins to show in my form of art work. After the match, I’ll bring in a steal chair and break some of the bones in your skull so it’ll be easier to mold your face. Then I’ll drop some thumb tacks on the ground and smash your face into them to add something shinny. I’ll continue as I take some barbed wire and wrap your head with it and drag you around the ring to add some blood red to your pale face.
I won’t be finished with you though Kash. Oh not for a long shot. I have to put the cherry on top of the cake. I have to make you look perfect for your transformation of being a new human being. See Kash, I want to see what’s behind that pretty little face of yours. I want to see the real you. So I’m going to take a knife and dig it into your skin and carve the skin to your face right off. Then……..then we’ll all be able to see who the true Angel Kash is. Behind all that makeup and plastic surgery, we’ll be able to see the true beautiful face of yours. We’ll finally see that Angel Kash truly is nothing more……than a human being. Nothing special. Nothing great. Just another soul on this earth.”
~Crow pauses as he sets his paint brush down on the table and picks up his mask. Crow continues to talk as he puts the mask over his head.
Crow: “I may be wrong about everything that I just said Kash. I hardly know you as a human being. All I know is that your name is Angel Kash and that I’m going to hurt you badly. It’s nothing personal of course. I truly hope that after our match that you will see the light and change your ways. If not…….well I hurt another human being……and I’m fine with that. So don’t get mad after I’m done with you. Don’t complain when I mutilate that face of yours Kash. Don’t blame me for the pain that I’m going to inflict on you. There’s only one person to blame for your future oblivion and………that……..is……..Diablo. You’re nothing more than a message to Diablo to what is to come at the Pay Per View when we face each other in a Hang Man’s Horror match. He made me do this to you Kash. So blame him. Or blame me. I really don’t care because you are nothing to me. Just another selfish human being that needs to be taught a lesson in life.”
~Crow steps from behind the painting canvas and turns the picture around to show to the camera.
Crow: “What do you think Kash? I wanted to try a new hair color for you but I think I have the eyes down my dear. It’s still raw and needs some work, but I might be able to find a new career field for myself once I get done with wrestling. I think I’ll call this piece, “Death of an Angel.” May God have mercy on your soul………because I will give you none.”
~Crow gives an evil grin as the camera pans in closer to the art work. Slowly it fades to black.
