(We open on Impaler standing in front of an advertisement for Reloaded more specifically an advertisement for his match between him and Taufik. The only thing that seems to be amiss here is that Taufik’s face has been cutout. As the camera pulls back we see Impaler towering over the camera.)
Impaler: Today, tomorrow, the next day the future is bleak indeed for all of the MPW and all thank to the word of the day which is Infamy, now the dictionary defines Infamy as, “extremely bad reputation, public reproach, or strong condemnation as the result of a shameful, criminal, or outrageous act”. I’ll use it in a sentence for you those of you who are a bit slow, August Twenty-Fifth, Twenty Thirteen is a day that will forever live in Infamy for Millennium Professional Wrestling. That is the day that the most dangerous minds in professional wrestling to date revealed their fidelity to each other and in that instance the landscape in MPW was forever altered.
(Impaler smiles sinisterly as he continues to speak, a low growl in his voice as he does.)
Impaler: These people, they don’t get what has just happened in their beloved company. They think we’re a threat that will just fade into the review mirror they think MPW is invincible. What they fail to realize is that the invincibility you perceive this company as having is merely the fevered dream of its heroes, who are now at our mercy. You have the MPW Legends like Johnny Clash, by the way Clash, how you doing, kid. You got pretty jacked up Sunday hell if not for Madd Katt bailing you out. You would’ve been the punctuation to my debut. Instead, you’re the “To Be Continued”, the cliff-hanger, and Katt. Your nose didn’t belong there, it seems for a feline of your years you’d be litter trained by now and you would’ve learned not to shit where you’re not supposed to. I guess however my first opponent will have to take your place… for now.
(Impaler wrings his hands together in contemplation trying to piece together how to pronounce his opponent’s name as he turns to look at the advertisement behind him and attempts to speak to Taufik.)
Impaler: Hi Taufix? Tau-prick? Toa-Schlitz? Anyway the pronunciation of your name, but for the sake or well not looking like you I’ll give it one more try, Taufik? Right, wait, don’t care. My name is Impaler, no last name to speak of and you may not know much about me, but I have been watching you and well I have some stuff to say to you. You see about a month ago you were in this same position against a new comer named Angel Cash and you went into some diatribe about how after a year you don’t deserve to be in a match with a new person in the company. Well, I may be a new person in this company but I have been doing this for sixteen years now. You complained about being the first match for Crow, really?! You’re going to complain about having the privilege to wrestle Crow in his debut. Taufik, you’re not so bright are you? I mean you went on in the same breath to complain about how others are saying your career is “Going nowhere” or even “Dying” well after this week Taufik, you will not have to worry about a dying career because what you’ll have to worry about will be more serious than that.
(Impaler confident in his assessment smile again to the point of almost laughing manically.)
Impaler: Taufik, are you listening to me, if you are you may ask what is more serious than a dying career? Internal bleeding, a hematoma the size of a grapefruit welling up on your forehead, to cut it short, your health. Because when I step into that ring this week I will not just look to defeat you, not just to leave you quivering in a mass of humbled flesh, I want you to be an example to the world. You want to call yourself, The Franchise or The Savior? The way I see it, if you want to be a Savior, you have but one challenge this week.
(Impaler looks into the camera very seriously and without hesitation.)
Impaler: Stop… me.
(Impaler pauses to allow that thought to set in before continuing.)
Impaler: You want to prove you’re a Franchise Player, that you’re the mark of the MPW that you’ll protect this company in a time of need all you have to do is simply put.
(Impaler stares daggers into the camera as he delivers he continues to deliver as the venom in his voice grows.)
Impaler: Do what countless others before you have tried to do, what two competitors thought they did two months ago, end my career. You do that and every man and woman in this company should throw you on their shoulders and proclaim you the Savior of the Masses, the Messiah of MPW, the man who destroyed the man who could’ve been the Anti-Christ of MPW. Because yes, Taufik, I am that bad of a man. But you know what will happen, like every other pathetic waste of human refuse who’s attempted to do the simplest sounding task, you’ll fail, you’ll fall right on your face, flat, out cold, no hope.
(Impaler sneers into the camera and laughs at his thoughts before he verbalizes them.)
Impaler: So you’ll show up with your eight-hundred and seventy-six moves. You’ll step in that ring after talking a big game, because I’ve watched your stuff and you can talk a big game. You’ll get the people up, on their feet chanting your name only to have them watch you be beaten, broken, and you’ll disappoint all of them. And in the end I will prove that I am what I claim to be and that is a Living Legacy for all of Professional Wrestling.
(Impaler cockily smiles as he walks off camera and at the same time smacks the camera and it tips, falls over and cracks the lens and the scene cuts to black.)
