The scene started with me, Bliss, Camilla and the newly crowned MPW North American champion Aidan Caine in his car as were going to Palazzo to celebrate Caine title win and what’s supposed to be my win against Rage but that was nixed *oh boy* but I can’t let the celebration of my buddy be in the way as Aidan Caine started to sing the chorus of “We are the champion” from queens and we just follow and sing together as while reaching to the venue. When we reached to the venue, we went to our booth that has been booked by Aidan as we take our seats and not long after, Aidan has called the waiter to bring in the four shots, trying to make me drink, but I still refuse to drink it as Aidan speaks.
Aidan Caine: “Come on man, you need to loosen up and party with the champ.”
The thing is, I’m already loosened up, but I just don't want to drink as Aidan respects my decision as the rest drink up, I was looking at twitter, and I saw the tweet from Jackson Blaze as I show it to them.
Taufik: “Looks who decided to join the party.”
Aidan Caine: “Just like what I’ve said the more the merrier Where is the basket that filled with chicken wings that I’ve been ordered?”
We then waited for the spicy chicken wings that we ordered as when it’s arrived; we all indulged in the very tasty, but spicy chicken delight as I take more of it because they are busy drinking their alcoholic delight. A few moments late both Bliss and Camilla go to the dance floor and dance, both me and Aidan stayed at our seats as we have a little chat.
Aidan Caine: “About your match man…”
I then quickly intervene in him as I speak.
Taufik: “I don't want to talk about my match man. This is your celebration, and you need to celebrate champ.”
Aidan then gives out a smile before continues to talk.
Aidan Caine: “Well that’s true but I can’t help myself looking at how close you are in officially beating Rage. If it’s wasn't been for that idiot ref to be in the way, you could have gone on and be in the match which I will definitely qualify for next week.”
Taufik: “I know that you’ll win that qualifying match against Reed Zimmer. However, I really have to ask you a question. Are you willing to give up that title if you qualify for the Roll the Dice Match?”
I then eat another piece of chicken as Aiden thinks about it. As he was about to answer, Jackson Blaze arrives as the conversation suddenly ended and Aiden proceeded to buy another round of drinks as the scene fades to black.
The scene started at the Podcast station in Las Vegas called Wrestling Unleashed. I was invited by their host James Brow as they want to conduct a live podcast interview about me and there be a live Q&A via call or text message. I’ve never been in this kind of interview before as I got nervous but Camilla was beside me, and that would be actually cool down my nervousness a little there. Once we took our seat, we went on mic check to make sure that what I say are crystal clear and five minutes later we started the pod cast.
James Brow: “Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another installment of the number-one wrestling podcast in the sin city, Wrestling unleashed and this week, we have a very special guest from the newly founded company called MPW, even though he made his debut in the ring three years ago, but this is his first time having an interview in a podcast session. So will you give a round of applause to our guest for today, Taufik.”
Taufik: “Thank you there James Brow, for inviting me here. It’s a pleasure to be here, and especially it’s my first time being in a podcast ever so please be nice to me.”
We both then give out a laugh as James Brow continues to talk.
James Brow: “Well then congratulations of making us the first podcast that you’ve ever done.”
Taufik: “Your welcome.”
James Brow: “Now let’s gets things on the roll shall we? First thing off what a match you have with Rage. We all know that got him beat there. How do you feel that you got rob out of your victory?”
Taufik: “To be honest, the feeling of getting rob out of your chances of being in something important like the Roll the Dice match it’s sucked actually. Now Rage has been rubbing it to my face where he knew the actual truth that I have him beat but he ref was down, and he took the advantage of it by hitting me with a sledgehammer. I understand that’s the referee's decision is final, and I can’t do anything about it. So now, I have to move forward and go for what I’m going to fight for, and that is the chance of becoming the first MPW World Television Champion.”
James Brow: “Yes, speaking about your World Television title match, I believe this is your first time in actually getting a shot of it right?”
Taufik: “Well yes it is. Almost every fed I go, I busted my ass each day and each night and apparently, as you know, it; people like me didn’t get any title shot unless you become an ass kisser, and I’m not one of them because I believe that earning it is more worth it than to lower myself to get perks.”
James Brow: “You must be nervous right as this is your first title shot ever in your life?”
Taufik: “Yes it is, in fact, as you would never believe how nervous I am on the inside, but I didn’t show it to the other's guys in the back. Even with those feeling surrounds me, I can’t afford to lose this rare opportunity and lose myself out there.”
I then cough up a bit as one of the helpers offered me a cup of water, but I declined as James Brow continues to speak.
James Brow: “I have to agree with you there how is your preparation going?”
Taufik: “The preparation is going great so far as I’m training like I’ve never trained before as I woke in the wee hours in the morning just to warm up and all.”
James Brow: “It seems that you are indeed ready for the match and speaking about the match, why not we talk about your opponent that is also in the match; let’s start with your recent opponent Jason Xavier.”
Taufik: “Jason X, he’s one hell of an athletic. If you watch my match with him, we were at it like as though it was going to be our last match and with every blow and reversal in our match, we push each other further and right now with him involved in this match. All I can say that this match is going to be remember for a long time.”
James Brow: “How about Freddie Styles?”
Taufik: “Freddie Styles has to bounce back from his debut loss against the other two debut wrestler by the name of John Fisherman and Kurt Newman. Both Newman and I previously met in an old fed in Chicago, and we wrestled once on a ppv and lost, but I will tell you that story next time because right now it’s about Freddie Style, and as I say, he makes a dominant comeback from his loss and same goes to John Fisherman, both managed to do things that I hardly could ever do, and that is getting out of the losing streak.”
James Brow: “Speaking about Fisherman, didn’t he just win the qualifying match for the Roll the Dice match. With him having that qualifying match under his belt, and if he wins the TV title, wouldn’t he have to either relinquish his title?”
I then thought about it before answering his question.
Taufik: “Yes he has to; it’s a part of the rules of qualifying the match. The objective of Roll the dice and especially when you are the champion of any sort is to give something up in order to get the chance to get something better. In my opinion, other the MPW World Champ, any other champion who is involved in this should give up their title in the chance of getting a contract that guaranteed you any title match anytime you want. If John Fisherman somehow wins this match, he has a difficult choice to make.”
James Brow: “Then Toby Foster, he’s one hell of an athletic when especially he is from another country?”
Taufik: “I’ve got to agree with you James. Toby is one hell of a wrestler and with him being in a foreign country and does what he does best and beating the hell out of anybody that is in his way, and he reminded me about myself as he is finding his fortune from another country. He’s one tough dude to beat and especially when he has made a friend out of Chris Cable, those two are unstoppable and other then myself; he’s one of the “main targets" that I have to get rid of fast before he does the same to us.”
James Brow: “And finally, we got to down to the last opponent, and that is Justin Fischer. We know that the both of you have met in the past in NYCCW, but how did it happened?”
Taufik: “Justin Fischer and I was in a match when this feud happened obviously, but not before we have a little twitter war where he thinks that he’s too good to wrestlers a guy like me, and of course, I reply back and when the time come to put up or shut up, Justin Fischer wires got loose as he’s wasn't satisfied with me not tapping to his submission hold. From then on he brag and keep on telling everybody that he got me beat and all, but the truth is that he didn't get the job done.”
James Brow: “And among the entire participant, who is the man to look out for other than yourself, and the man whom you think that it’s not worth your time?”
Taufik: “For your first question is quite easy, Toby Foster is the man to look out for, and the person that I don't think a much threat to me are Justin Fischer because of a simple fact that I know that he didn't bring up in a professional wrestling family, and even though he won countless amateur wrestling competition. This is not amateur wrestling; this is a professional wresltling.”
James Brow: “With you all confident on saying these things, don't your current losing streak bothers you and with the recent fan reaction, don't you think there might be something wrong about you?”
Taufik: “To be honest, yes the losing streak is bothering me, even how close I am in winning a match, there must be something that will be holding me from winning the match, and as for the fans, they are jeering at me is because of two possible things, number one, I didn't live up my words as “The Franchise” of this company or number two, someone must have written something on the internet that upsets the fans and starts to make them turned on me.”
I pause, for the moment, to cool myself down before saying anything else.
Taufik: “James Brow, thank you for bringing me here, but I think it’s time for this interview to be over.”
I then walk out of the station as James Brow is just sitting on his chair speechless as he made on air apology about my behavior because he might say something that he didn't notice as Camilla's walk beside me and talks to me.
Camilla: “I know it angers you but please doesn't show it to James Brow; I bet he doesn't know about it.”
I stop as I speak to Camilla in a soft tone.
Taufik: “I know and I think it’s time.”
She nodded her head in agreement as we both walk out from the building together as the scene fades to black.
