Sunday Night Reloaded - October 13, 2013
Live From The Rose Garden, in Portland, Oregan
Live From The Rose Garden, in Portland, Oregan
Thomas Simon: Welcome folks to another episode of MPW Sunday Night Reloaded. Once again I’m Thomas Simon and my partner as always the loud and obnoxious Richie Rhodes
Richie Rhodes: Hey I’m... wait...yes I am. We have another exciting show for you tonight. Roxi faces off once again against Crow, Laila and Johnny Clash settle a score from last week and of course our Main event for the MPW Tag titles where IA will defend against the newly formed team of Aeryn Ashfield and Soul Shadow
Thomas Simon: The Tag division has been fairly stale as of late. It’s nice to see some new teams coming into the action. Maybe we might see the exchange of the titles tonight
Richie Rhodes: Don’t bet on it Tommy. IA are a strong dominant team and they will stop at nothing to keep those titles.
{"Tom Sawyer by Rush" cues up and Bob Herman comes do the ring, alone.}
Thomas Simon: And look at this, Our Owner is coming to the ring alone after the events this week where Laila and Bliss Blaze took out his assistant without provocation.
Richie Rhodes: Oh come on... you can't say you didn't like seeing all that fire in Mrs. Blaze. Her and Laila make a good team...
Thomas Simon: I bet Bobbo has come out to make mention of Laila's antics. I hope she gets a suspension for this.
{Bob takes a moment to acknowledge the fans and then begins to speak.}
Bob Herman: I appreciate your applause tonight. I want to start off by saying that I am more than a little pissed off at the recent actions of all the members of Iconic Aggression as of late. All three of them have decided that the fact that this show has an owner has no relevance and take it upon themselves to do whatever the hell they want and I'm not going to stand here and take it. The attack on Ms. McKenzie was unwarranted and unnecessary.
{The fans erupt in applause. Bob nods his head.}
Bob Herman: Ms. McKenzie is suffering from a mild concussion and a few broken teeth. Now I can't do anything about Mrs. Blaze's involvement since Jamie has chosen not to press any charges. I can however do something about Laila...but before I get down to my punishment I wanted to say a few things about a title that in the past has not gotten enough notice. A title that everyone feels is bottom rung when in actual fact it has just as much prestige and honour as the world title. I'm talking about the TV title.
{The crowd starts to chant Taufik's name.}
Bob Herman: I am very happy to see that Taufik has once again captured the TV title. He is is a man worthy of representing MPW, just like Roxi is worthy of being our world champ. As for the Sin City and tag titles...well I'm working out the kinks to bring back the honour to those as well. Anyway, It's time for me to name a number one contender for the TV title. The person I have in mind is someone that has come out here and given it their all every single time. Faced every challenge head on and done a good job at proving how valuable they really are and so without further ado I wish to welcome....
"Play Dead" cuts off Bob as Laila appears on the ramp. She smiles as she walks down the ramp and slides under the bottom rope. She rips the mic from Bob's hands and continues to smile at him creepily.
Laila: Thanks for that warm welcome Bob. I appreciate that you think so highly of me. I deserve to be the TV champ. In fact, you might as well just take it from Taufik now and give it to me. Just cut out the middle man and all the pain I'm going to inflict on him, or anybody else that chooses to put themselves in an immense amount of pain.
{Honey Winters has entered the ring to hand Bob another mic. He looks very upset as he starts to talk back to Laila.}
Bob Herman: Actually Laila, I wasn't talking about you. Yes you do have an impressive win record but you also have a sorted history of resorting to raw violence and me and the Board feel you are a liability rather than an asset....
{Laila shakes her head.}
Laila: Oh really? That's why you were all too eager to make my temporary contract a permanent one. Why my t-shirts are flying off shelves? Face it Bob... You keep me around because I am keeping asses in those seats not whoever this other person is that you think is better than me. Who is it anyway?
{Bob smirks.}
Bob Herman: Actually Laila, the number one contender is...
{He stops as Ms. Hyde by Halestorm plays. Laila gives Bob a snarl as she looks to see an official wheeling Chrissy Star out in a wheelchair. The crowd is on their feet in cheers. Chrissy already has a mic and starts talking as her music fades out.}
Chrissy Starr: That's right Laila. I'm the one worthy of being #1 contender for the TV title. Read it and weep. You can't beat up anybody to get your way this time.
{Laila shakes her head, a slow creepy smile returning to her lips again.}
Laila: And how exactly do you think you are going to win that title... plan on having the special Olympics match from your chair? Not that it will be that hard for ANYBODY to beat Taufik for it anyway. I mean for all we know, Jason Xtra-boring could be winning the title tonight...
{She laughs at her own joke}
Chrissy Starr: You know what Laila, everybody is tired of listening to you talk. You have nothing relevant to say and you know what... you suck at wrestling. The only thing you're good at is yapping about things that don't mean a god damn thing and taking out that pair of brass knuckles to get your win. You couldn't beat me without cheating so you have no reason to even be out here trying to get a shot at MY title.
{Laila starts screaming at Chrissy from the ring. Something that causes a lot of the fans faces to freeze in shock. The normally cool headed dark woman is going insane with rage. she starts to go out of the ring when Bob grabs her shoulder and moves beside her.}
Bob Herman: I have had quite enough of this!! Chrissy you know I think the world of you and as I said earlier I think you are more than worthy of going up against Taufik or anybody that has it for the TV title however... how can I trust you to be a face of this company when you are constantly putting flame to Laila's fire and giving her a reason to do what she does.
{Laila is giving him a snarl again.}
Bob Herman: Laila I can't ignore your wins and your skill, despite what Ms. Starr has to say about it, that alone is enough reason why you should be placed ahead of Chrissy.
{Laila's expression changes lightning fast as she gives Chrissy a satisfied smirk.}
Bob Herman: But. Right now neither of you are worthy of it!
{Chrissy's face drops into an "O" of shock while Laila starts shaking her head angrily.}
Bob Herman: So I have an solution. I can't book Chrissy next week because she still isn't cleared, so in two weeks, on October 27th there will be a tag match.
Laila: Jackson and I are ready...
Bob Herman: Wait... Wait. It's not going to be another IA vs. The Resistance again. No. The match is going to be Valentina Madison and Christian Carter....
{The crowd is a mix of reaction}
Thomas Simon: Wait what? Why is he pairing those two?
Bob Herman: Against the Team of Chrissy Starr and Laila
{Laila starts to argue with him. Chrissy puts the mic to her lips}
Chrissy Starr: Bob no disrespect but are you nuts? You want me to team with her? She's just going to double cross me...
Bob Herman: No... she won't because if Laila and you can't work together to defeat Valentina and Carter then neither of you are going to get a chance at the TV title. And further to that, if the IA OR The Resistance interfere with this match then once again, neither of you are getting a chance at Aftershock.
Chrissy Starr: But that's not fair... Bob come on...
{Laila smirks again and nods her head in agreement.}
Laila: Ok Mr. Owner. You want me to work with Chrissy to defeat two undeserving roster members here then so be it. It just lets me kill two birds with one stone so to speak and in the process, maybe I can corrupt Chrissy in the meantime.
Chrissy Starr: Like I would ever let you talk to me the way you talk to Bliss. It's bad enough that she has to go home everyday to look at that ugly mug of Blaze but to have you egging on her disease, it's disgusting. I don't necessarily like Bliss very much but she deserves a hell of a lot better than you two.
Laila: Say what you want Chrissy, the match is set. In two weeks we have to work together. You do want a chance to get that TV title don't you?
{Chrissy stares at her angrily.}
Laila: That's what I thought, so I suggest you start getting used to the idea of me... Partner...
{She laughs and starts to exit the ring as Chrissy is wheeled back stage once again. You can hear her complaining to the medic pushing her. Once again Bob stops her as he speaks.}
Bob Herman: I'm not finished with you Laila.
{Laila rolls her head and turns, cocking her head to one side and putting her hands up.}
Bob Herman: I still haven't decided how I'm going to punish you for what you and Bliss did to Ms. McKenzie. Since Bliss was arrested this week on other charges I don't think I need to punish her. Her remorse is evident on her tweets, however you... I'm going to think on it because whatever I decide has to be monumental and it has to send a message to the IA. I will not be bullied by you.
{Tom Sawyer cues up again as Bob exits the ring and walks past Laila. Laila watches him go.}
Thomas Simon: There you have it folks. On October 24th these two rivals have to work together if they want a chance at the TV title.
Richie Rhodes: I'd say make it an lingerie match but who wants to see Carter in a teddy... again...
Thomas Simon: Alright folks, lets get on with the show. First up we have Impaler vs. Mackey Boyd
***
Mackey Boyd Vs. Impaler
As Mackey Boyd steps out onto the stage the opening riffs of “Drag the Waters” By Pantera begins to play. He pauses for effect as the pyro explodes up and down the ramp. He tilts his head to the side as the fans begin to boo him and walks slowly down the ramp with a sick smile on his face. He stops at the ring apron and turns around facing the crowd as they continue to boo him and the sick smile transforms into something ugly…a feral grin. He quickly turns and slides into the ring on his belly until he reaches the center of the ring where he stops and positions himself on his knees. He sticks his arms out in a crucifix type position and begins laughing and then stops abruptly. He looks back up the ramp and waits his opponent.
Honey Winters: This contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Starks, Louisiana, weighing in at 200 pounds, Mackey Boyd!
Thomas Simon: Coming up next is a match where I’m sure the fans are going to have a tough time deciding who to pull for. Mackey Boyd is looking to make his mark in a big time way.
Richie Rhodes: I honestly like Boyd, but I’m going to be very honest. There’s no way a man of his size has a chance to take down Impaler.
(The house lights in the arena dim, Black Hole Sun by Sound Garden begins to play, a red hue envelopes the entrance area as Impaler marches out and surveys the audience through the dim lighting, he takes out his mask of war on the ramp and toys with it a bit before continuing to the ring his gaze locked on his mask as he stalks to the ring. As he reaches the ring he stops and toys with the mask again before tossing it into the center of the ring. Instead of his normal Modus Operandi of pulling himself up on the apron and over the top rope, he rolls into the ring pulling himself ending up on his knees arms outstretched in a symbol of a crucifix looking up to the heavens with his mask at his knees.)
Honey Winters: Introducing his opponent, from Black Mist, Maine, weighing in at 285 pounds, the Living Legacy, IMPALER!
Thomas Simon: Impaler is a man on a mission and in a very bad mood. He wasn’t able to win the High Stakes ladder match or last week’s big match against Phoenix Rising.
Richie Rhodes: The big man’s got a toy to play with in Mackey Boyd. He wants to claim a victim and do his part tonight. He may make an impact later, if you catch my drift.
Thomas Simon: You’re not suggesting he’s going to try and help Crow beat Roxi Johnson later are you?
Richie Rhodes: Oh NO! Nothing like that, AT ALL!
{The referee calls for the bell, and as he does so Impaler charges forward, catching Mackey off guard as he connects with a running boot to the face, sending Mackey staggering back into the corner. Impaler lets out a roar to the crowd, as Boyd sinks into the corner. Seeing Mackey sitting there, Impaler pounces, bracing himself against the ropes as he stomps on Mackey in the corner. The referee stands over Impaler, counting out loud, with Impaler ceasing after the third count, turning and taunting the watching crowd, who boo him. Impaler turns his focus back to Mackey, and bracing himself with the ropes once more, drives his foot into Boyd’s throat, choking him against the ringpost. The referee counts again, Impaler breaking the hold on the count of four, and getting up in the referees face as he begins to chastise him. Behind him, Mackey slowly climbs to his feet, catching his breath in the corner. Impaler turns, and seeing Mackey in the corner, charges him. Mackey sees him coming, and drops a shoulder, sending Impaler over the ropes with a Back Body Drop. Impaler keeps his wits however, landing on the apron behind Boyd, only to be met by a hard Elbow as he gets his balance, sending him reeling to the floor. Mackey drops to the mat and rolls out, landing on his feet just behind Impaler, who is using the steel steps to brace himself as he stands. Mackey reaches for Impaler’s shoulder, only for Impaler to quickly turn, trying to catch Mackey off guard. Boyd sees it coming, and hits Impaler with a double knee to the face as he turns.}
Thomas Simon: Wow! What a crafty move there by Boyd!
Richie Rhodes: I’ll give him that, but it’s going to take more than that to beat the big man!
{Mackey hauls Impaler up to his feet, and goes to roll him into the ring, but Impaler quickly counters, whipping Boyd into the steel steps. Impaler quickly locks up with Mackey, before charging him into the apron, lifting him slightly as he does so the small of his back connects with the edge of the apron. Laughing in Mackey’s face, he takes him by the neck and the waistband of his pants to throw him in the ring. Impaler quickly slides in behind him, locking on an Armbar before Mackey has a chance to react. Wrenching the arm back, Mackey roars in pain, as the referee hits the mat to check on him. Boyd refuses to give up. Impaler, keeping the arm outstretched, gets up, before using an armdrag, causing him to cry out in pain.}
Richie Rhodes: That armdrag had to be painful considering Impaler’s size.
{Mackey struggles to his feet, clutching his arm, as Impaler watches over him, his sick smile plastered across his face. As Mackey gets to his feet, he locks him in a loose Hammerlock, before running him to the corner and ramming his head into the top turnbuckle. Mackey slumps into the corner, Impaler just smirking at him before hitting him with a hard uppercut. Mackey slumps a little, and Impaler follows up by whipping him into the opposite corner, Mackey landing back first, only to be met by Impaler’s forearm as he connects with a Forearm Smash. Impaler steps back, and Mackey falls forward, like a felled tree, only to reach out with his right hand and grab the middle rope, fighting to keep himself upright. Impaler laughs, before kicking Mackey’s wrist, forcing him to let go off the rope and fall to the mat. Impaler taunts the fallen Mackey, rubbing his face with the sole of his boot, followed by a stomp to the head and a kick to the back. Pulling Mackey back up, he quickly wrenches his arm, holding it high over his shoulder before bringing it down hard with an armbreaker. Keeping hold of the wrist, Impaler pulls Mackey down to the deck, locking on another armbar. The referee hits the mat to check on Mackey. Mackey starts to fight his way to his feet, forcing Impaler up with him. Both men on his feet, Impaler refusing to release the arm, Mackey catches him with a forearm shot, followed by another in quick succession. Impaler quickly pulls hard on the arm, whipping Mackey to the ropes. Impaler bends over to hit Mackey with a Back Body Drop, but telegraphs it, and Mackey slides to his knees, taking Impaler down with a Kneeling DDT. Mackey bounces straight back to his feet, and runs into the ropes as Impaler struggles to his feet. As Mackey comes back, Impaler takes him down with a boot to the face. Impaler covers!}
{1………….2……………..Kickout!}
Thomas Simon: Impaler is clearly in control right now as the size advantage may be too much for Boyd to handle.
Richie Rhodes: Impaler is an angry freak! If I’m Mackey Boyd, I just stay down and live to fight another day.
{Impaler gets up in the referee’s face, telling him to count faster. Mackey struggles to his feet behind Impaler. As Mackey gets to his knees, Impaler hits him with a kick to chest, knocking Boyd back into the ropes. Mackey’s arms strung up over the ropes, Impaler drives a boot into his throat, choking him as the referee counts again. Impaler finally breaks the hold on the four count, strolling around the ring, his sick smile plastered on his face once more. He slowly approaches Mackey as he gets to his hands and knees, only to be caught off guard by a sudden punch to the stomach. As Impaler doubles up, Mackey follows with a forarm to the face, then an elbow. As he begins to build some momentum, Impaler hits him with a stiff boot to the chest, before dragging him to his feet and whipping him into the corner. Impaler charges at Mackey, going for a shoulder block, but Mackey dives out of the way, leaving Impaler to drive his shoulder into the ringpost. Mackey is in the center, fighting to regain his composure as Impaler slowly disengages from the corner, favouring his shoulder. Impaler stumbles around, and Mackey take him down with a leaping armbreaker.}
Thomas Simon: Oh great move by Boyd! He got Impaler off his feet!
Richie Rhodes: I’ll give him credit for that, but still, he’s at an 80 plus pound disadvantage. He needs to stay on the big man!
{Both men are lying flat on the mat, Impaler recovering from the blow, Mackey struggling to regain his senses. As the crowd cheers his name and clap, Mackey slowly fights his way to his feet. Impaler begins to stir too, matching Mackey for pace as both men struggle to their feet. Both men eventually get upright, with Mackey taking the initiative and staggering towards Impaler, only to get taken out with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker. Impaler follows up with a cover.}
{1…………..2………….Kickout!}
{Mackey gets his shoulder up. Impaler stares in disbelief. Roaring in anger, he grabs Mackey by the head and pulls him up to his feet. He gets in Mackey’s face, only to get caught by surprise when Mackey Headbutts him. As Impaler reels, Mackey runs into the ropes. As he comes back, Impaler goes for a high Dropkick, but Mackey ducks under him, letting Impaler hit nothing but air. As Mackey rebounds, Impaler starts to get back to his knees, only to be met by a running knee to the skull!}
Thomas Simon: OH WHAT A KNEE! This has got to be it!
Richie Rhodes: I can’t believe he’s about to pull the upset.
{Cover by Boyd!}
{1…………2………..NO!}
Thomas Simon: NO! Impaler just rolled the shoulder out! I thought Boyd had him there.
Richie Rhodes: Me too, but it’s STILL not over yet!
{Boyd decides to go to the top rope. He measures Impaler as he tries to get back to his feet. Impaler is up and Boyd leaps for a crossbody. However, Impaler catches him and slams him straight to the ground. Impaler is up right away. Boyd is up now. Impaler clrotheslines Boyd straight to the ground. Impaler then kneels down near Boyd and starts grinding his forearm in Boyd’s face as the referee starts to make the five count. Impaler stops at four. Impaler stands up and gets Boyd up to a vertical base. Impaler picks up Boyd and slams him into the mat with a sidewalk slam. Impaler lifts his arms up in the air in triumph as the fans let him know exactly how they feel about him. Boyd is using the ropes to pull himself up. Boyd gets to his feet, but Impaler is able to clothesline him out of the ring. Impaler leaves the ring, collects Boyd and throws him back into the ring. Impaler then goes inside the ring, and then to the top rope. Boyd slowly stands, and Impaler goes for a flying clothesline. Boyd ducks and Impaler misses. Boyd then takes Impaler down with an enziguri to the back of the head! Cover!}
{1………….2…………..Kickout!}
{Boyd decides to keep the momentum going by locking in an arm trap crossface. Impaler is struggling quite a bit with the submission hold. However, Impaler is strong enough to start to pull his weight toward the ropes. Boyd keeps the hold locked on as much as he can as Impaler gets closer and closer to the ropes. After a couple ofminutes, Impaler is able to reach out and grab the bottom rope. The referee begins the count. Boyd breaks the hold at four. Boyd now goes to the top rope. Impaler gets up and Boyd leaps off the top rope taking down Impaler with a missile dropkick. Boyd stands up and takes note of Impaler getting to one knee. One he gets to a knee, Boyd runs to the ropes, bounces off and connects with a springboard roundhouse kick to the head. Then, Boyd runs to the ropes again, bounces off again and connects with a springboard moonsault. Boyd then goes for the burlap sack in the corner. The referee checks on Impaler who’s still down. Impaler gets up and Boyd goes toward him. Boyd then spits the venom/alcohol combo into Impaler’s face. Impaler goes down to a knee. Boyd leaps to the top turn buckle and looks back as Impaler staggers back to his feet. Boyd goes for the moonsault but he gets caught with a kick to the stomach! Impaler picks him up and….BYL! BYL! Cover!}
{1…………..2……………3!}
Honey Winters: The winner of this match, Impaler!
Thomas Simon: Wow! I can’t believe it! Mackey Boyd pulled every trick in the book, and Impaler, despite being blinded by whatever that substance was, got the win!
Richie Rhodes: That’s how the big man gets it done! Impaler is asking for help to wash his eyes out, but he can be proud of the fact that he got a damn good win tonight!

{The camera follows Bob Herman backstage. He walks by a storage room where a poker table is setup. He doesn't pay much attention until he hears his name}
Blaze: Bobbo... hey come on in. Join us. You like gambling don't you?
{Herman stands in the doorway. Jax is dealing out cards between him and Trey. Herman, usually a man of indulgences is weary.}
Trey: Don't worry Bob. This is just about a friendly game of poker. Its not like its a cleaver rouse or anything
{Trey and Blaze exchange a look and Bob shakes his head.}
Bob: No thanks. I know better then to trust you two and your protege even less
{He turns to leave}
Blaze: what if I said that the stakes were well worth it?
{Bob turns back}
Herman: Ok I'll bite what are the stakes?
Blaze: if IA loses to you then we will not be at next weeks show and you can have a worry free night
{He follows it with a cocky smile as trey takes another card from the deck. Trey looks at them with a concentrated look. Blaze peaks at his but doesn't seem concerned}
Herman: And what if you numb-skulls win?
Trey: We get control instead
{Trey smiles.}
Trey: Ok what you got Jackson
Blaze: You first
Trey: 3 of a kind. Aces.
{Blaze doesn't flinch. He puts down his cards and pulls the pile of plastic chips toward himself}
Trey: Hey... you gotta show
Blaze smiles: I don't want to humiliate you in front of the boss.
{He adds a laugh and it obvious that he doesn't actually think Bob is the boss. Trey grabs at the cards and flips them over}
Trey: you cheat you didn't win. You're missing the ace for a straight
{Blaze smirks and pushes a card hiding under some chips. Trey picks it up, looks at it and frowns. He takes an aggravated breath of air. Bob looks amused and doubts the skill of the two men}
Bob: Ok boys. When I beat you I will enjoy an IA free night
{Blaze looks at Trey and exchange a cocky smiles before trey starts dealing the cards}
Blaze: Best of luck chump, You’re going to need it...
*** Commercial break ***
Thomas Simon: Welcome backs folks. Up next we have a battle of new and old for the TV title
Richie Rhodes: Just wake me when it’s over would you
Jason X Vs. Taufik
Honey Winters: The following contest is a No Disqualification match set for one fall and is for the MPW Television Championship!
{As "Monster" By Skillet begin to blast through the P.A. system, white smoke fills the entrance a figure steps in and can be seen in the smoke and Jason X stands at the top of the entrance with his arms up in an X form}
Honey Winters: Introducing first, the challenger, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 190 lbs.... JASOOON X!
{He continues to walk down the ramp and enters the ring; he then climbs the turnbuckles and again puts his arms in an X form. Awake and Alive by Skillet starts to play as Taufik hops his way towards the entrance ramp as he interacts with the fans by fisting their hands and even slapping their hands}
Honey Winters: And his opponent,., he is the MPW Television Champion,!now residing in Tampa, Florida, he is “The Franchise” TAUFIK!
{When he slides to the ring, he throws his fist as the fans cheers him on as he appraises his opponent}
Thomas Simon: Well folks, this should be a top class match between Taufik and Jason X here as they’re about to fight for that belt.
Richie Rhodes: Knowing these two men, it should be a bloodbath tonight since it is a No DQ match Thomas.
Thomas Simon: You got that right and there’s the bell!
{Taufik and Jason slowly circle the ring, staring at each other coldly. They both rush each other and lock one another in the collar and elbow tie up. Taufik maneuvers around Jason and tries to go for a German Suplex, but Jason elbows his way out before landing a few stiff kicks on Taufik.}
Thomas Simon: Great way to escape that waistlock by Jason X!
{Jason remains on the offence by Irish whipping Taufik into the corner and charges at him with a running back elbow and nails in the forehead sending Taufik tumbling to the mat. Jason keeps up the pace with a jumping knee to Taufik’s head and pins him quickly}
Thomas Simon: 1…..2...easy kick out for Taufik, but he’s already taken a heavy beating from Jason already and no weapons have even been used yet!
Richie Rhodes: I want to see blood! C’mon! Bring it out!
{Jason arrogantly grabs the head the Taufik and slams it on the mat multiple times before kicking him in the side of the head. He walks over to the turnbuckle pad and unties the padding, exposing the steel underneath it. He goes back to Taufik, who is on one knee now, he grabs him by the arm, but Taufik surprises him with a headbutt to the stomach, making Jason keel over and Taufik executes a Standing Senton Splash onto the prone Jason X and keeps it up by dropping elbow after elbow on the champion’s back. Taufik slides out of the ring and pulls out a few steel chairs and tosses them into the ring. Taufik slides into the ring with one in hand. Jason backs into the corner trying to plead with Taufik.}
Richie Rhodes: Hahahahaha! Look at the brave champion trying to beg for mercy! What a loser he is to be a former champion in this company.
Thomas Simon: Well you never know he could try to be doing that mercy-low blow trick.
{Taufik turns his back Jason, but then charges him with chair in hand and dropkicks the chair right Jason’s face with a loud ping sound echoing through the arena. The crowd falls silent as Taufik starts to go crazy with the chair shots to the downed champion. Taufik grabs another chair and slides it under Jason’s face.}
Thomas Simon: Oh god, not a Con-Chair-To!
Richie Rhodes: DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!
{Taufik looks out to the crowd and raises up the chair and the crowd roars in approval. Taufik raises the chair above his head and swings it down, but nothing but the sound of metal echoes through the arena as Jason rolled out of the way just in time. Jason has his back turned to Taufik and he marches his way over to Jason, but the sound of glass of breaking is smashed against his head and the blood begins to spill.}
Thomas Simon: JASON X WITH A GLASS BOTTLE TO THE HEAD OF TAUFIK! GOOD LORD! THERE’S SO MUCH BLOOD IN THE RING NOW!
{The crowd starts to chant “This is Awesome!” as Taufik lays out in the ring almost knocked and Jason slowly makes his way over to Taufik for pin. 1………2……….THR……..NO!}
Thomas Simon: Taufik able to have enough strength to kick out from the bottle shot! This is unbelievable!
Richie Rhodes: Wow! That is impressive! Jason X really has his hands full right now!
{Jason sits up in disbelief as the crowd keeps chanting. Jason slowly gets back up to his feet and nails Taufik with a jumping knee strike to the head. He makes his way over to the turnbuckle and scales it up to the top. Jason looks out to the crowd as the same chant still echoes throughout.}
Richie Rhodes: Hey! Look at X on the top turnbuckle! I think he’s going for that 360 Shooting Star Press we’ve seen before!
{Jason leaps from the top and with great flexibility is able to do the back flip and spin, but lands flat on his face and into a chair as Taufik was able to move out of the way. He slowly raises his head and chair is stained from the blood that is now flowing clearly out of Jason’s head.}
Thomas Simon: Oh my! Now Jason is cut too!
Richie Rhodes: Yeah! More blood!!!!
{Taufik is seen on the outside trying to pull something out from underneath the ring. He hauls out a table and slides into the ring with a lot more effort due to blood loss. Taufik sets up the table by a corner in the ring and goes over to Jason, who is slowly regaining his bearings, but Taufik slows him down by hitting him with a few forearms to the head, making more blood spew out. He then plants him with a fisherman Suplex, but with a bridge this time.}
Thomas Simon: Bridging Fisherman Suplex! 1…….2…….THRE……NO! JASON JUST BARELY ABLE TO MUSCLE HIS WAY OUT!
{Taufik is frustrated at this, he grabs a chair that is lying in the ring and walks over to Jason who is leaning on the ropes, and Taufik swings, but only to get the chair sent back into his face with a sudden roundhouse kick to it. X picks him back up and hauls up into an Argentine Backbreaker Rack, and flips him over right in front of him, planting him with The Murder Scene!}
Thomas Simon: I think we’re getting close to the end of this match here!
Richie Rhodes: Awwww, but it was just getting good for me….
{Jason hauls Taufik up with every ounce of strength he has left, he perches Taufik on the top turnbuckle, facing away from the table in front of the corner. Jason climbs up after him and places Taufik’s head between his legs and holds up an X sign to the crowd.}
Thomas Simon: OH MY GOD! HE CAN’T BE SERIOUS! X-DRIVER OFF THE TOP!?! HE IS INSANE!
Richie Rhodes: Do it Jason! Get your title back!
{Jason goes for the flip, but Taufik has his ground stood and isn't letting go. Jason keeps trying to pull him down, but to no avail, he swings himself back up, but Taufik catches him in a rana clutch and jumps off with him and drives Jason through the table with a Sunset Driver and bother scatter from the impact.}
Thomas Simon: WHAT A COUNTER! SUNSET DRIVER THROUGH THE TABLE!
{Both men slowly make their way to their feet and both turn to each other. Jason goes for a forearm, but gets caught by the Surprise! from Taufik!}
Richie Rhodes: SUPERKICK AND DOWN GOES X! HE IS OUT COLD!
{Taufik falls on top of Jason and the ref begins the count.}
Honey Winters: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, and Still MPW TELEVISION CHAMPION, "THE FRANCHISE" TAUFIK!

{The scene switches to show Soul Shadow, wearing a pink shirt and matching wristbands. Across the shirt, it says “Make Cancer Tap Out” in large white letters.}
Soul: In the United States, the chance of a woman being diagnosed with invasive breast cancer is about one in eight. The chance of dying from breast cancer is about one in 36. Both of these facts make it the second most common type and second leading cause of death in women.
{The shot jumps to Aeryn Ashfield, wearing the exact same shirt and wristbands as her tag team partner. She also has a pink scrunchie holding her ponytail in place.}
Aeryn: Fortunately, the mortality rates for breast cancer have been dropping at a steady pace over the past few years, due to a combination of earlier detection and better treatment options. Currently, there are over 2.9 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.
{It next jumps to MPW owner Bob Herman, who is attired just like his two stars.}
Bob: During Breast Cancer Awareness month of October, Millennium Pro Wrestling recommends all of our fans to go to www.cancer.org to get information on early screenings, prevention tips, treatment, support, and possible donations to help with this important fight.
{The shot finally moves to show Bob standing between Soul and Aeryn.}
All three in unison: Together, we can “Make Cancer Tap Out!”
*** Commercial Break ***
Johnny Clash vs. Laila
{the show resumes after a commerical Break to see Laila already on the ramp, making her way down to the ring.}
Thomas Simon: Laila doesn’t seem very happy about this rematch here tonight.
Richie Rhodes: And why should she be? Iconic Aggression took care of Clash and Chrissy last week and Clash isn’t even technically cleared to be out here tonight.
{Laila is in the ring now and her music cuts off but instead of Clash’s music, There is only silence.}
Thomas Simon: What’s going on? Is Clash not going to show?
Richie Rhodes: In this case, I wouldn’t blame him. Laila is known for pulling out that set of brass and that’s if she doesn’t get Blaze and Baxter out here helping her. It would be smart of him to play up his injury and stay away.
{Laila is rolling her eyes. She calls for a mic.}
Laila: Clash, I understand if you’re scared of me. I don’t blame you at all.
Richie Rhodes: See?
Laila: But let’s be a man here. You can hide behind your crippled whore. You can hide behind your injuries, you can even hug Bob’s legs. Just get out here and lets get this over with... I have somewhere I need to be.
{The crowd is almost quiet when the beginning chords of “Red” play and the fans are on their feet and the arena is alive with cheers. Clash runs down the ramp, appearing as though the beating he took on the last show hasn’t phased him at all}
Thomas Simon: Finally... now Laila can be put in her place
Richie Rhodes: The last time someone tried to do that, Taufik ended up losing A LOT of money.
{He gets into the ring and gets up on the turnbuckle to put a hand up when Laila wastes no time. She drops the mic and gives him a double pump-handle to his back, knocking him forward and he hits his face. The bell rings and the match has begun.}
Thomas Simon: Laila making sure not to let Clash get any kind of momentum in this match.
Laila proceeds to give a boot to Clash’s chest. Clash grabs it in pain. Laila cockily backs up shaking her head. She points to him and shakes her head at the crowd. She then proceeds to pull a thumb across her throat indicating that he’s done for. the crowd boos and Laila smiles with delight.
Thomas Simon: She’s too busy eating up the Crowds negative energy that she’s not watching Clash. Look at him, he’s getting to his feet. Despite his injuries he’s going to make sure that Laila knows that IA has no power over him.
{Clash takes a deep breath and with a burst of adrenaline, runs at Laila spearing her. The pair land on the mat where clash starts to take out his frustration on Laila, punching her repeatedly in the head. The ref tries to pull him off but his anger is getting the better of him. }
Richie Rhodes: Laila’s body is just moving like a rag doll out there.
The refs manage to pull him off. They begin to count.
9...8...7...
{Laila still isn't moving. Her face is starting to bleed from a cut on her forehead. Clash is breathing heavily but he’s now leaning against the ref for support. His face is distorted in anger as he yells at the fallen woman. “Get up you bitch...”}
6...5...4...3...2...
{Laila rises. She sits up suddenly and turns to Clash. Her face breaks into an eerily smile through the blood. She wipes her mouth with the back of her arm and gets to her feet.}
Thomas Simon: There’s no way she doesn’t have a concussion after all those blows!
Richie Rhodes: She’s the mistress of the dark Tommy boy. Anything is possible.
{The officials back away as Clash and her eye each other. Suddenly Laila lets out a primal scream that stuns him and she runs, catching him with a running punch to his head. He grabs his head, backing up and turning. Laila shakes her head and grabs him around the waist.}
Richie Rhodes: Here we go... it’s time to be BEWITCHED!
{Laila scoops him up and slams him down with her finisher. Johnny is laying on his back on the mat. Laila dives down and covers. The ref is a little slow and she yells but it doesn't matter. She gets the three count and ‘play dead’ blares over the speakers to a chorus of boos. The ref goes to raise her hand but she pulls it away.}
Honey Winters: And your Winner... Laila!
{She stands over Johnny a few minutes before smiling once again and looking at the crowd. she then wipes some of the blood from her face and smears it all over johnny’s, leaving a bloody hand print on his face. She smirks as she leaves the ring, not even looking back as medics run past her to aid johnny.}
Richie Rhodes: What a match... Laila comes back from the dead! Play Dead indeed. Laila played possum perfectly here tonight.
Thomas Simon: We’ll be right back after these few words.
*** Commerical Break ***
{The scene opens once again to the three men playing poker. Bob lays his cards down with a huge grin.}
Bob: Royal flush boys. That’s it. I beat you both. Have a great night off.
{He stands to leave with a self satisfied look on his face when the doorway is blocked by Laila. She has a band-aid on her forehead and her hair is wet. She appears to have quickly showered before joining the crew in the storage room. but she doesn’t even acknowledge Bob; she looks past him at her stablemates.}
Laila: Sorry I'm late. Had to take care of some loose ends
Bob: You can let me by now Laila
Blaze: We're not done yet Bob. I said beat us... Laila is one of us and you haven't beaten her.
Bob: Wait a minute. You didn't say that when I sat down...
Trey: You didn't ask
Blaze: Are you afraid to play her?
{Bob scoffs}
Bob: Of course not
{Laila takes the other empty seat and starts shuffling the cards. Bob gulps and trey gets up to give him the seat. He leans against the wall and exchanges a knowing look with Blaze.}
Laila: What's the game bobby... seven card stud, Texas hold 'em...
{Bob shakes his head with a smirk}
Bob: You choose my dear. Won’t matter in the end.
{Laila looks at Blaze as if saying, 'Is this guy for real?' Blaze smirks and chuckles silently}
Laila: Alright. Prepare to lose
{Laila deals the cards. Bob picks up his and smiles. Laila shows no emotion viewing her own. Bob takes another card. Its intense for a few minutes and bob smiles. He puts down his cards. Royal flush in hearts. Laila's face remains stoic}
Bob: Well looks like that's it. Don't feel bad. I had lots of practice in Vegas.
{Blaze smirks.}
Blaze: Show him your cards
{Laila lays down her own cards. Royal flush in spades. Bob gets angry and stands nearly toppling the table.}
Bob: she cheated! There is no way!!
Trey: Sounds like a sore loser
Blaze: This looks like a draw. A tie breaker bob?
{Bob calms down and sits. Blaze shuffles the deck.}
Blaze: High card wins
{Bob takes the deck and shuffles it himself}
Bob: Don't trust you
{He puts it down and draws the first card. Its a jack. Bob seems pretty proud of himself again. Laila draws her card. Once again she shows no emotion}
Bob: Well...
{Laila eyes him over the card and an evil smirk spreads on her face as she puts down the queen of clubs. Bob's mouth drops open and he bolts from the room. Laila begins laughing, it follows Bob down the hall.}
*** Commerical Break ***
{As we come back we see Trey Baxter walking around the back obviously angry about something. All of a sudden El Cunado walks up out of nowhere.}
El Cunado: Hey Trey...
{Trey doesn't say a thing. He just kicks him in the stomach and throws him into the wall in front of him and then continues walking through the back angry and cussing. He walks up to one of the snack tables and flips it over as some of the wrestlers who are eating just stare at him not knowing what to do. Trey stares them down for a second before turning around and as he does running straight into MPW World Champion Roxi Johnson, heading towards the ring for her match. They stand eye to eye as Trey gets even more mad. They just stand there staring at each other for a few seconds before she lets out a smile, pats her World Title, and then just walks away as Trey watches her walk away with an evil look on his face as the scene fades to black.}
**
Thomas Simon: Poor El Cunado. Looks like on next week’s show IA will have control of MPW, I don’t know about you Richie but that’s more than a little frightening.
Richie Rhodes: Actually might be a breath of fresh air from the normal stale programming we usually have Tom.
Crow Vs. Roxi Johnson
Scene fades out to the arena where The lights in the arena dim and white and red strobe lights fill the arena as Counting Bodies Like Sheep by A Perfect Circle begins to play throughout the arena. The arena fills with boo’s as Crow comes out dressed in his black wrestling gear.
Honey Winters: “Coming in from Omaha, Nebraska! Standing at 6’4 and weighing in at 240 pounds. He is the Angel of Death!.......he is CROW!”
Crow slowly makes his way down to the ring steps and makes his way up to the ring apron. Making his way into the ring, Crow makes his way to the other side of the ring and jumps on top of a turnbuckle and perches himself on top of it as he waits for the match to start.
Thomas Simon: This is without question one of the biggest matches that Crow has ever had as he’s set to go up against the MPW World Champion herself.
Richie Rhodes: Unlike Roxi, Crow is actually real, you know what I mean?
Thomas Simon: Richie, you know Roxi is real. Come on now.
Richie Rhodes: She’s nuts! But Crow is even more nuts and that’s what gives him the advantage! I smell an upset tonight!
Thomas Simon: You’re still bitter over Roxi beating Trey I take it.
{"Help Is On The Way" plays over the PA system. Once the lyrics begin, Roxi Johnson emerges from the backstage area, She pauses at the top of the entrance way, soaking in the atmosphere. She stares ahead at the ring and begins a slow walk towards it. She pauses from time to time looking around the arena. After a moment, she steps on the apron, and enters the ring through the ropes. Once inside, she runs to the nearest corner, jumps on it, and raises her arms to the cheers of the audience. }
Honey Winters: From Tampa, Florida, she is the MPW World Heavyweight Champion…ROXI JOHNSON!
Thomas Simon: Roxi has been through some tough times already despite the fact that she just won the championship a few weeks ago.
Richie Rhodes: Iconic Aggression is right Thomas, she’s too scared to give Trey Baxter the rematch he deserves! She’s not a real champion, and she’s going to prove it with a loss tonight!
Thomas Simon: You do realize Crow has had a couple of tough losses recently right?
Richie Rhodes: Sure! But those are losses that toughen up a man like Crow!
{DING! DING! DING}
{They both nod to each other from opposite sides of the ring before walking to the middle and grappling up. Roxi is the first to strike and give several punches to Crows face and knocks him a few steps back. She grapples Crow from behind but he is quick to reverse it and gets her in a headlock. He throws her into the turnbuckle and throws his body into her, making her go straight down to the mat. He goes to kick her, but Roxi rolls out of the way and back up to her feet. Crow runs forward and hits her in the face with a clothesline. She is quick to her feet and delivers some punches to Crow, causing him to get caught up in the ropes. She runs forward but Crow throws her over his shoulder and she holds onto the top rope to cause herself from going to the floor. Crow goes to grapple Roxi from the outside of the ropes but she reverses and gives him a punch before launching herself from the ropes, throwing a body block into Crow. Seeing him try to get back up, she runs forward and connects with a bulldog. She goes to lift Crow up but he hits her with an elbow and then a hard knee to her face. Roxi was on her knees before Crow walked back up to her and gave her another knee to the face, putting her down to the mat. He lifted her up and put her on his shoulder, throwing her face first into the ropes and causing her to hold her face.}
Thomas Simon: Wow! Crow is really taking it to the champion right now!
Richie Rhodes: He’s a house of fire, and I love every second of this!
{Crow lifts Roxi back to her feet but she reverses it with an european uppercut. She acted like she was going to throw him into the ropes but forcefully pulled him back to herself and landed a spinning DDT. She tries to go for a kick to the head but Crow seen it coming and lifted her into a gut drop. She gets back to her feet and he was there waiting to hit her with a scoop slam. She gets back up rather quickly and Crow was waiting with a back elbow and tried to combo some punches until she blocked it and reversed with a dropkick. She was there to connect with a swinging neckbreaker when he got back to his feet. She goes for another dropkick but Crow reversed and threw Roxi across the mat like a doll. She was slow to get up but when she did, there was a big punch from Crow that put her right back down.}
Thomas Simon: Roxi tried to get some momentum going, but Crow right now is too strong for her.
Richie Rhodes: I think her fear of the Iconic Aggression is in her head right now.
Thomas Simon: Don’t be ridiculous, you know there’s no such thing.
Richie Rhodes: Her current state right now has me convinced otherwise.
{Roxi grapples with Crow, but it is reversed again and Crow delivers on a backdrop. Roxi rolls back to her feet, sees Crow coming at her and nails him with a springboard clothesline. They both are up to their feet and run forward, hitting each other with a clothesline again and putting them both down on the mat. They are both struggling to get to their feet first and Crow is the first one to get up. Roxi sees him coming to her from across the ring and tries to springboard from the rope but slips! Crow was waiting for her when she was trying to stand back up and connects with a double arm DDT. He goes for the pin as the crowd holds their breath.}
{1…………2…………….Kickout!}
{Crow accepted that it wasn’t good enough and forced Roxi back to her feet. He tried to lift her into a suplex but she reversed it and delivered a facebreaker to Crow. Seeing at her chance, she gave him a running knee to the face and started to lock in the sharpshooter. She almost had it until Crow kicked out of it and they both rolled to their feet. She throws Crow into the corner and he bounces off into a groggy position where she runs forward and connects with a forceful DDT. She thinks it is enough as she goes for the pin.}
{1…………..2…………….Kickout!}
Thomas Simon: Roxi has managed to balance the momentum, unfortunately, she couldn’t get the win there!
Richie Rhodes: Crow is just taking a break right now. He’ll be full wind really soon! He’s got the kryptonite! HAHA!
Thomas Simon: You’re a true comic….
{Roxi looked like she had it in the bag but tries to fight through it. She lifted Crow up but he reverses and puts her in an armbar. He tried to keep the hold but she eventually rolls over and escapes from Crows hold. They both get to their feet at the same time and grapple up, Crow overpowered her and connected with a inverted headlock backbreaker. While she is down, Crow runs forward and strikes a knee to her back. He reached down and started to deliver punches before hoping up and grappling with her again. Connecting with a diving neckbreaker, he was starting to feel good and looking to close it out. He picked her back up and speared her in the groggy position. He tries to lock in a headlock but she was too quick and slipped right out of it. She went for a springboard moonasault but Crow caught her in the air and powered her down to the mat with a powerbomb.}
{1…………2…………….No!}
Crow almost had it and he could see the pin slip right through his hands. He got back to his feet and prepared to finish Roxi off and this match. He went for the grapple but Roxi reversed it with a knee to the gut. Seeing that Crow was down, Roxi climbed the top rope on the corner turnbuckle and put him down with a hurricanrana. Crow reversed her hold when she was lifting him up and knocked her off balance with an european uppercut. She was almost in trouble, but she felt Crow coming at him and delivered a swift kick to his knee, putting him down one leg. Crow was slow to get up but when he did, Roxi connected with a straightjacket neckbreaker. She goes for the pin as the crowd is going insane.
{1………….2……………Kickout!}
Thomas Simon: The champion is pulling out all the stops now, but right now, it’s still not enough!
Richie Rhodes: Crow just needs to keep her grounded for good, and then he’ll have this in the bag!
{Roxi stands up and she heads to the top rope. Roxi goes for Reality Bites, but Crow blocks the move! Both stay down for a few seconds before Crow makes his way to a vertical base. Crow measures Roxi as she stands up holding her ribs. Crow walks to her, picks her up and brings her back down with a spinebuster. Crow stands up again and Roxi starts to crawl to the ropes. Crow waits patiently and she gets to the ropes. Roxi pulls herself up using the ropes. She stumbles toward Crow and then he kicks her in the gut, hooks her arms and then brings her down with a double arm DDT. Crow picks Roxi up off the mat and after that he puts her back down with a backbreaker. Crow then gets Roxi back up to her feet and hooks her arms again. He lifts her up for the Angel Eyes, but Roxi is able to counter with a sweet hurricanrana. Crow stumbles away from her then comes back toward her. Roxi puts him down with a swinging neckbreaker and covers.}
{1………2………Kickout}
{Roxi wastes no time heading up to the top rope. Crow gets up and Roxi jumps and connects with a senton bomb knocking Crow down. The fans cheer loudly for this move. Roxi runs to the ropes, bounces off and she connects with a Reality Bites. Roxi stands up again and leans on the ropes. Crow stands up and sees her. Crow charges at her but Roxi pulls down the top rope and Crow flies over the top rope, but he hangs on to avoid falling to the floor. Roxi gives Crow an enziguri to knock him off the apron and onto the floor. Crow gets up and stumbles toward the ring. Roxi is up on the ropes taunting him back in when from the crowd, Trey Baxter comes in and hops the barrier. He starts shouting at Roxi. Crow enters the ring and watches as a distracted Roxi is watching Trey. He spears her to the corner, inadvertently hitting the ref and knocking him out of the ring. Panning up the camera catches that Trey has now gotten up on the apron and he’s got the world title in his hand.}
Thomas Simon: Why does Trey have the title belt?
{Roxi stands slowly. Crow watches his prey intently}
Thomas Simon: WHAT?! TREY BAXTER JUST RUSHED IN AND HIT ROXI WITH THAT TITLE BELT. I just knew it was a bad idea.
{Crow goes after Trey but Trey is able to hit Crow with the belt too just as The ref makes it back to the rig and he signals for the bell}
Honey Winters: The winner of this match, Via Disqualification.... Crow!
Thomas Simon: That was a dirty move by Trey.
{Baxter looks at the title and then down at the two people lying on the mat. He drops the title near Roxi, rolls his eyes at Crow and slides out of the ring with a cocky, almost crazy smile on his face}
Thomas Simon: He had no reason to attack Crow, let alone interfere and ruin this match.
Richie Rhodes: Baxter obviously doesn’t care about that. Crow was just a casualty of war.
{Crow looks up as Baxter is walking backward up the ramp. Baxter smirks as the camera fades out to a paid advertisement}
***
{Soul Shadow is walking through the backstage area, dressed casually while carrying a large gym bag over his left shoulder. His right hand holds a cellphone to his ear.}
Soul: Thanks, kiddo. Yeah, I wish you were here too, but you know you have school tomorrow and we’d never be back in time for it…
{A feminine hand taps Soul’s shoulder. The camera pulls back to reveal his lovely Phoenix Rising partner Aeryn Ashfield standing behind him. He smiles devilishly at her.}
Soul: Hey, kiddo, I have someone here who wants to talk to you.
{Before Aeryn can protest, Soul holds the phone up to her ear. She gives him a cute pout as she takes it.}
Aeryn: Hello? … Oh, hi Hunter! … Yeah, I am very “psyched” for our title match tonight. … Oh, you better believe we are going to win those titles tonight.
{She turns to Soul, smirking slightly.}
Aeryn: Oh, I promise to keep an eye on your father for you. After all, I love to watch his back…
{Soul laughs at the teasing comment.}
Aeryn: Let me give you back to your dad.
{She passes the phone back to Soul.}
Soul: Alright, kid, I’ve got to get ready. … Thanks, son. I love you, too. See you Monday night.
Aeryn (as Soul ends the call): That’s quite a boy you have there.
Soul: Yeah, he’s very special. His belief in me is one of the biggest reasons I decided to come back…
Aeryn: “One of”, huh? What was the others?
Soul: The promise I made to someone else…
{Soul’s voice trails off. He stares at the phone, but it is obvious his mind is somewhere else. Aeryn watches him silently. Eventually, he comes back to himself.}
Soul: Hey, I’ve got to ready for our title shot tonight. Come find me before the match, okay?
Aeryn: No problem. I’ve got a few preparations to finish myself. I’m really looking forward to taking it to those bastards tonight.
Soul: As am I. Not only all we going to make them bleed gold, we’re going to drain them dry.
{With that, Soul walks off to the camera’s right. Aeryn watches him for a moment, smiling to herself, then heads off to the left.}
*** Commercial Break ***
Grover Banks and Matt Stone Vs. Zero and Nathan James
Honey Winters: The following contest is set for one fall…
{“Outro” hits and Banks slowly walks from backstage, stops pours a bottle of water of his head. He shakes his head wildly spraying the water around him. He scans the crowd as they boo him. He drops the water bottle and wipes his face with both of his hands and runs his hands back over his head and slowly walks to the ring.}
Honey Winters: …introducing first, from Bedford, TX by way of Staining, Lancashaire, England…weighing in at 265 lbs…. Grover Philip Banks!
{He acknowledges the overly ruthless fans and an eyebrow raise or partial smile. He sits on the apron pulls himself up by holding the top rope, he leans over and steps into the ring and steps to the second turnbuckle. He does nothing but stare at the audience, further inciting them. He hops down and stretches out his arms and is ready to fight.
{"Whoa is Me" by Down With Webster hits the speakers and the crowd immediately starts booing.
Say whoa (whoa)
The more I feel it (whoa)
The more I need it (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Matt $tone comes out from the back to a chorus of boos. He struts down the ramp towards the ring, wearing his patterned hoodie with a large Maple Leaf on the back. He threatens to hit a member of the crowd who was holding up a Canada sucks sign and just walks on.}
Honey Winters: …and his partner… Ottawa, Ontario…weighing in at 220 pounds… Matt $tone!
{The more I feel it (whoa)
The more I need it (whoa)
You say whoa
Whoa is me
I'm so whoa
Matt gets on the apron and gets inside the ring, heading straight to a corner and mounts the middle turnbuckle raising his hands. He shouts out over the loud jeers being rained down on him. He shakes his head to their reaction. You don't deserve to see me! He shouts out getting down and taking off the hoodie. Matt get's ready for his opponent, bouncing off the ropes to loosen up as his music fades away.}
Honey Winters: And their opponents…first, from London, England…weighing in at 262 pounds… Nathan James!
{“Built For Speed” kicks in as Nathan appears in black trunks with red stripes down the side, wearing a black custom Nathan James t shirt. Black boots with similar red stripes down the side. He pauses on top of the stage taking in the ovation nodding in acknowledgement as he then walks down the ramp high fiving fans either side of the barriers. Upon entering the ring he mounts each turnbuckle posing before removing his t shirt and waiting for his partner to arrive.}
Honey Winters: And his partner…from Crowley, Louisiana…weighing in at 244 pounds… "The Revolutionary"…Zero
{Every light in the arena suddenly turns off except for one dark red light shining down on the center of the stage. An eerie distorted choir is heard throughout the arena singing an unrecognizable hymn. A blanket of smoke carpets the stage as a shadowy figure rises up from below, standing tall and still. The lights snap back on in an explosion of pyro as Drowning Pool's "Sinner" begins blaring. Zero walks down the ramp with a cold stare directed at his opponent. He climbs into the ring and pulls off his Pantera t-shirt before leaning against the turnbuckle pads, still staring at the man across the ring.
Richie Rhodes: So I have to wonder Tom, does Nathan James know now that he’s not facing AoA... I mean they did disband months and two ppv’s ago. I walked by him backstage and I think I smelt some wacky tobaccy if you know what I mean
Thomas Simon: From what I heard, the tech guys accidentally posted an old promo, getting it mixed up with his real one. They still haven't been able to figure out where his actual promo went.
Richie Rhodes: Excuses Excuses. But at least he said something. His partner seemed to be closed lipped about the whole match
{$tone and James start the match off circling in the ring before locking up. Both men fight for the advantage and soon James pushes $tone into his corner. James makes a clean break but Zero tries to take a cheap shot but gets a back elbow for his troubles. James runs in, but $tone side-steps sending James into the turnbuckles. $tone turns him and lands a couple right hands before moving him to the ropes and whips him across the ring. $tone telegraphs a back body drop and takes a kick to the shoulder followed by a clothesline. James kneels beside $tone and lands right after right to his skull. Pulling $tone to his feet, James gets reversed off the ropes and then sent to the outside by a drop kick. $tone dives through the ropes taking James down off the barricade. Zero and Banks step off the apron and bookend the action on the outside as the referee begins the count…}
1… 2… 3…
$tone and James get to their feet and trade punches. James kicks $tone in the midsection and throws him off the barricade.
4… 5… 6…
{James lifts $tone and bounces his head off the apron before rolling him back inside. James drops a couple elbows across the chest of $tone before pinning him…}
Thomas Simon: Technical mix up or not James seems to have no problem knowing how is opponents are now
1… 2. Banks breaks the attempt.
{Zero comes charging across the ring and take Banks over the top rope where the two begin to brawl. The referee’s attention goes to the men on the outside as James continues his assault on $tone. James lifts him to his feet and shoves him to the corner. He lifts $tone to the top rope and begins climbing after. $tone fights him off and sends him to the mat. James gets to his feet and $tone readies himself before leaping and taking James down with a cross body. James rolls through lifting $tone up. $tone fights from James’ clutches landing on his feet, shoving James back in the process. Both men regain their balance and James walks into the C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker! $tone for the cover…}
1… 2… 3!
Honey Winters: Here are your winners… Grover Banks and Matt $tone!
{Banks rolls back into the ring as the referee raises their hands.}
Thomas Simon: That was a very good win and showcase for both of the up and coming superstars tonight.
Richie Rhodes: It seemed all too easy for Banks and Stone to get that win. They need more action against opponents that are more in their league.
{The ref holds a hand up on both Grover Banks and Matt Stone with the crowd mixed, but mostly cheering for them both as their reaction changes suddenly hearing Kid Rock's "Cocky" start pumping through the airwaves.}
Richie Rhodes: There we go. What was made boring can now get a little more levier.
Thomas Simon: This was a damn good match and way for our newer talent to get airtime and its getting ruined like this?
{The crowd, now on their feet, join Banks and Stone in watching the entrance ramp as they see Jackson Blaze appear from the back with his Tag Team title wrapped around his waist, his Sin City title draped over his shoulder and his trademark cocky grin fixed in its spot on his face. He makes his way down to ringside and quickly slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Jumping to his feet, he stands eye to eye with Matt Stone and starts to swing on him, but stops short as Stone flinches back a step.}
Thomas Simon: That was very mature act and very becoming of a Champion.
Richie Rhodes: Blaze is hilarious. I don't see how you can't get it.
{Blaze shakes his head at stone and turns, motioning for a mic, which is quickly tossed to him. He signals for his music to cut and waits a second as the loud sounds of cheers and boos die down in the crowd.}
Jackson Blaze: I figured you guys were really bored out here and needed some real talent in this ring as quick as humanly fucking possible.
{He smiles arrogantly again as the crowd roars disapproval of him, while he soaks it in, loving every drop of their hate towards him.}
Richie Rhodes: See Blaze and I are on the same wave-length.
Thomas Simon: A real talent? A real talent wouldn't have let his stable mate interfere in the classic match he had with Roxi Johnson last week.
Richie Rhodes: You're drinking in too much of her kool-aid. She knew the Bastard had her beat for a second time so she provoked that interference by Laila to save her own skin.
{Blaze's smiles lessens as the crowd's boos turn into a chant of "Roxi! Roxi!"}
Thomas Simon: See. These highly intelligent fans of MPW nation knows the real story around here.
{Jax shakes his head and brushes the fans chants off.}
Jackson Blaze: I'm not out here to discuss that ho. I'm out here to disprove a myth I've heard floating around.
{His look turns to that of mock confusion.}
Jackson Blaze: Can you believe people are saying I don't give a fuck about our rookies? That The Bastard could give a shit less if they get over on any airtime what-so-ever?
{Blaze continues with the mock confusion as you hear Richie Rhodes lets out a gasp.}
Richie Rhodes: Say it ain't so, Blaze.
Thomas Simon: Are you two kidding me? Of course he doesn't care about rookies getting airtime.... He's interrupting that as we speak.
Jackson Blaze: I know, I'm just as confused as you guys. I love our fucking rookies. Like these two guys for example.
{He points at Banks and Stone who are both still staring, confused at him.}
Thomas Simon: My point exactly. He doesn't even know their names.
Richie Rhodes: In his defense, he's helping run the most dominant stable in MPW history, he's a Tag champion as well as Sin City champion. He has more important stuff to do than learn every single name on the MPW roster too.
Thomas Simon: Whatever.
{Blaze shows a very bad attempt at sincerity.}
Jackson Blaze: Both of the guys are doing awesome here in their run so far. So much in fact, I've decided to break the myth of me not caring by offering these two guys a chance to join...
{He stops a second and looks at a name written on the underside of his forearm.}
Jackson Blaze: Mackey Boyd.
Thomas Simon: Come on, he had to just warn them not to take their eyes off the prize and they did.
Jackson Blaze: So next week, you three will go head to head to see which one of you are good enough to face me for this title
“Cocky” Blares over the speakers as he leaves just as quickly as he appeared, leaving Stone and Banks confused.
Thomas Simon: One has to wonder what’s going to come of this match between Matt Stone, his Tag partner Grover Banks and another newcomer Mackey Boyd.
Richie Rhodes: I’ll tell you what’s going to come of it, we’re going to have three men that are going to fight tooth and nail to get a chance at Jackson Blaze and the Sin City Championship. Friendship, tag partners... none of that matters when Gold is on the line.
Thomas Simon: We’ll return in A short moment folks
***Commercial Break***
Valentina Madison Vs. Christian Carter
{The program comes back from commercial break and Valentina Madison is already in the ring, pacing back and forth waiting for her opponent. Sandp{aper by Fozzy cues up but it makes it to the chorus before Christian Carter appears on the ramp. He nods his head with the music before giving the devil sign with one free hand while the other holds some kind of flask. He starts to stagger down the ramp. He trips and lands on the barrier. Looking up embarrassed he suddenly pushes one of the fans and starts to yell at him for getting in his way and then continues sloppily to the ring.}
Thomas Simon: Welcome back everyone, up next we have the beautiful Wild-Kat Valentina Madison up against twisted Chaos Christian Carter
Richie Rhodes: Well looks like Carter has been doing some pre-game celebrating.
{His face goes into a wide grin when he see's Valentina. You can easily read his lips as he says 'hey baby'. The official comes over and tries to take the flask and carter starts arguing with him. Carter shoves him. the official shakes his head and goes to motion for them to ring the bell but Valentina shakes her head. she determined to face him anyway.}
Thomas Simon: I don't' know if Valentina is just a glutton for punishment or she thinks this will be an easy win.
Richie Rhodes: She could just be easy overall
Thomas Simon: You have no respect for women whatsoever do you Richie.
Richie Rhodes: Sorry...what? I wasn't listening I was too busy looking at her ass-ets
{The official is talking to her now, and Carter's face goes into a drunken snarl. He runs at the official for making a move on 'his gal' and spears him. }
Thomas Simon: What is Carter doing? It's obvious now that he's not in his right mind. Someone ring the bell already
{Valentina watches in horror, her hands on her face in shock that Carter would attack the ref without provocation. The Bell rings as security and more officials run down the ramp.}
Honey Winters: And your winner, via disqualification, Valentina Madison!!
{Valentina is trying to pull at Carter to get him off the poor official but is unsuccessful. The security gently pushes her away as they haul Carter up and start to escort him out of the building. He smirks at her as they force him up the ramp. He's some how retrieved his flask and is taking sips from it as they force him out of the building. Valentina gets down with the medical staff that has appeared to check on the refs condition.}
Thomas Simon: Valentina seems to be really concerned about the condition of the ref
Richie Rhodes: She should be more concerned with how her outfit isn't quite tight enough Tommy.
{They put him on a backboard and start to load him down onto a gurney. Valentina watches him leave with an unsure look on her face. “Everybody’s Fool” Evanescence cues as she starts to leave when suddenly her music cuts off abruptly. She stops at the bottom of the ramp when "Play Dead" replaces it. Laila walks out, microphone in hand. She motions for them to cut it and puts the mic to her lips.}
Laila: Well Well... Little miss schoolgirl. You got lucky tonight didn't you? I can bet that if Carter had not have been enjoying himself a little too much you would not be walking out of this arena on your own strength. You want a real challenge? Then next week you can face me... if you've got enough balls.
{Valentina starts motioning at her angrily at one point the camera is able to pick up her yelling "You got it."}
Laila: Good Good. Seems I was running out of decent competition anyway, not that I think you will be any different than every other roster member I've made and example of. Better be prepared like the good little kid you are... go and study all my tapes but i will tell you this right now. It's not going to help you. everyone before you has thought they had me pegged but I can guarantee that nothing will prepare you for what I bring to the ring. Nothing will help you escape my wrath. I hope you are prepared for a whole world of pain my dear.
{She laughs as she turns and Valentina is yelling after her but Laila pays no attention as she slips behind the curtains. the crowd starts to chant after Valentina "WildKat... WildKat..." She smiles, waves and then walks up the ramp backward, putting her hands in the air as her music plays once again.}
Richie Rhodes: So next week another cat fight. I wonder if it's too late to tell Bob that mud is a good option for this one.
Thomas Simon: You're a pig.

{The scene switches to the backstage area, where Soul Shadow is sitting on a bench in front of his open locker. In front of him, he is holding a photograph of a long-haired brunette woman. Her Latino features provide some exoticness to her incredible beauty. Soul is staring at the picture, a look of longing on his face. Carefully, his hand gives it a caress.}
Soul: This is for you, love. After ten years away, I’ve gotten my first title shot after only two months back. You always encouraged me to do it, even in your final days. Tonight, I’m going to reward your faith in me.
{A single tear slides down Soul’s cheek as he speaks to the image of his late wife. Just as he begins to speak, Aeryn Ashfield walks into the room. Upon seeing what her partner is doing, she pauses to watch and listen. Her expression grows wistful from the guilt of intruding upon a private moment. Aeryn turns to leave, only for her foot to connect with a bucket near the exit. Soul looks back at the sound while quickly placing the photograph in the locker before closing it.}
Soul (discreetly wiping the tear from his cheek): Aeryn! I didn’t hear you come in…
{Aeryn takes a moment to compose herself, then turns with a smile.}
Aeryn: Yeah, I was looking for you. It is almost time for our match. You ready to win some bloody gold?
{Soul studies her, as if internally debating something.}
Soul: Aeryn, I’ve been making to ask you something….
Aeryn: What, mate? We’re partners now. You can ask me anything… though that doesn’t mean I’ll answer.
{Aeryn gives a sly wink, but Soul ignores it.}
Soul: I’ve seen some your matches and work from your previous fed…
Aeryn (with an amused smile): Checking up on me, I see…
Soul: Well, Shakira suggested I review some of your history…
{Annoyance crosses Aeryn’s face.}
Soul: …uh, strictly to help with our teamwork.
Aeryn: I’m sure that was the ONLY reason…
Soul: Anyway, I couldn’t help but notice you were a bit more… aggressive back in the day. Not to say you were at the… intense level of someone like Laila, but you definitely let your mean streak show.
Aeryn: Is there a point to this…
Soul: It made we wonder, why are you teaming with me? You have the Roll the Dice briefcase. A guaranteed World title shot is in your pocket. Why spend time pursuing the tag team titles with me?
{Aeryn ponders his question for a second. As she answers, she walks towards him at a deliberate pace.}
Aeryn: Maybe I’m doing it because I want a belt, no matter what form it takes. Maybe I’m doing it because, despite winning the briefcase, I feel a little guilty about what I did to you in order to win it. And maybe, just maybe, I’m doing it because my partner is having a positive influence on me…
{Standing in front of Soul, she leans forward to give him a kiss on the lips. He doesn’t resist, placing an arm around her waist to hold her close. After a few long heartbeats, Aeryn steps back while meeting her partner’s gaze.}
Aeryn: …and maybe I find myself really loving how that feels.
{She searches Soul’s eyes for his reaction. The upturned corners of his mouth gives her all the answer she needs.}
Aeryn: So are you ready to follow me out the ring and rip our championship from these Iconic Aggression wankers?
Soul: I’m ready to follow you wherever you want to lead me, darlin’.
{Aeryn gives a small laugh as she walks off camera. Soul follows her as the scene returns to the arena.}
*** Commerical Break ***
Main event
Iconic Aggression Vs. Phoenix Rising
Honey Winters: The next match is scheduled for one fall and is for the MPW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
{The crowd erupts as the opening vocals of In This Moment’s “From the Ashes” blare throughout the Rose Garden. Lasers flash across the stage in time with the drum beat as the two members of Phoenix Rising, Aeryn Ashfield and Soul Shadow, step onto the stage. Both wear pink wristbands in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The duo work the audience for a few moments, eliciting several more cheers.}
Honey Winters: Introducing the challengers, at a combined weight of 383 lb., from London, England, and Boston, Massachusetts, the team of Aeryn Ashfield and Soul Shadow, PHOENIX RISING!!!
{Both wrestlers smile at the first mention of their team name. Soul raises his fist to his partner, who connects to it with her own. The duo then dashes to the ring, both sliding under the bottom rope. Soul jumps on the turnbuckles in the far corner while Aeryn takes the near corner. Both raise their arms to acknowledge the fan support.}
Thomas Simon: This new pairing has taken the MPW by storm!
Richie Rhodes: Well, an intense front is about to arrive to blow those losers into the Pacific…
{“cocky” by kid rock starts to play as the lights flicker and smoke covers the entrance area. The majority of the audience boo and jeer the music, yet a decent amount of positive response can be heard. After a few moments, Trey Baxter and Jackson Blaze step through the mist onto the stage, dressed in their usual ring attire. Both wear their World Tag Team title belts around their waists, while Jackson also has his Sin City title draped over his shoulder.}
Honey Winters: And introducing the champions, at a combined weight of 460 lb., from Chicago, Illinois, and Las Vegas, Nevada, the team of Trey Baxter and Jackson Blaze, ICONIC AGGRESSION!!!!
{Both smile wickedly at each other as they walk to the ring. Both step into the ring through the middle ropes, walk to the center of the ring, and hold their belts high to the disapproval of the crowd. Baxter pulls his down to show his opponents, mouthing “You’ll never have this.” Jackson just smirks confidently at his antics. Aeryn looks ready to charge, but Soul manages to keep her in check by indicating to wait for the match to officially begin.}
Richie Rhodes: Iconic Aggression have had a record-breaking run as they have held the belts for over five months against all challengers!
Thomas Simon: All challengers? They haven’t defended the belts since the second week of their reign!
Richie Rhodes: That’s because they eliminated all their challengers that fast!
{The referee rings the bell to signal the start of the match. Soul and Trey start for their respective teams. The two circle briefly before locking up. Trey manages to push Soul against the ropes, then pulls back, tossing the veteran to the ground. Both Trey and Jackson laugh together as Soul rolls to his feet, with Trey yelling to the crowd about his opponent being too old. Soul smiles sarcastically, indicating for Trey to come back at him. The two lock up once more, with Trey managing to pull his opponent into a headlock. He looks at his partner, mouthing “This is gonna be so easy…”. However, his face turns to shock as Soul drops him with a belly-to-back suplex. Trey vaults to his feet, but is once again tossed to the turf by a massive dropkick. Reeling, the former World champion finds himself bouncing off the ropes into a quick powerslam. Before Soul can follow up, Trey rolls outside of the ring for a breather.}
Thomas Simon: Quite a show of offense by Soul here!
Richie Rhodes: Trey was smart to roll to outside to get a breather as his opponent is unlikely to follow him… wait, what is Soul doing…
Thomas Simon: SUICIDE DIVE THROUGH THE ROPES ON TREY!!!
Richie Rhodes: I can’t believe that old guy can fly!
Thomas Simon: He may be a veteran, but he isn’t that old! And he can certainly go, as Trey is learning!
{Soul hops back into the ring and pumps up the crowd. Aeryn shares in the applause. By comparison, Jackson looks stunned as he drops to the ground to help his partner. Eventually, he brings his partner to his feet. Trey slides in under the bottom rope near his corner, then tags “The Bastard” in. Jackson hops over the ropes, eyeing his opponent arrogantly. However, Aeryn yells for the tag. Soul quickly obliges, slapping her hand. Jackson accuses Soul of hiding behind “his bitch” as the Roll the Dice holder jumps over the top rope.}
Thomas Simon: Aeryn wanted in the match, perhaps looking for a little payback for Johnny Clash!
Richie Rhodes: Brave, but foolish. She’s probably about to get the Chrissy Starr treatment!
{Blaze smirks at his opponent, beckoning her forward. Aeryn moves forward cautiously, looking for an opening. As she goes to lock up, he kicks her in the stomach to double her over. Quickly, he grabs her, lifts her up in a vertical suplex, holds it for a while, and drops her to the mat. He pops up, arrogantly posing for the crowd and eliciting a chorus of boos. Aeryn rolls to her knees behind him. Still smirking, Jackson arrogantly approaches her, only for his opponent to sweep his legs out from under him. He jumps to his feet, only to get a standing vertical dropkick from his foe. He shakes it off and rushes Aeryn, swinging a punch in her direction. She catches her arm and flips him with a massive armdrag. Off balance, the Sin City champion stumbles to his feet. Aeryn doesn’t give him a break, using a huracanrana to flip him into her corner. Blaze somersaults to a vertical base right in front of Soul. Quickly, Aeryn’s partner grabs Jackson’s head and drops from the apron, slamming it across the top rope. Jackson falls backward, right into Aeryn’s lungblower. She quickly follows up with a pin. 1… 2… Jackson lifts her off him with a big shove.}
Thomas Simon: Phoenix Rising’s teamwork is impressive as they take it to the champions!
Richie Rhodes: All they are doing is getting the champions mad at them!
{Blaze struggles to get up. Aeryn hooks his ankle, then reaches for a tag. In one smooth move, Soul jumps onto the top rope, then lands a double foot stomp onto Blaze’s back. Aeryn rolls out of the ring while her partner pulls Jackson to his feet. Hooking him around the waist, Soul lifts him into a bridging Northern Lights suplex. 1… 2 “The Bastard” raises his shoulder. Soul rolls to his knees while maintaining the hold, stands, and flips Blaze into a powerbomb position. Down the tag champion goes onto his challenger’s knee. Soul then makes the quick tag, but rather than leave the ring, he picks up and drops Blaze with a snap suplex. Aeryn ascends the turnbuckles, then lands a beautiful splash across his chest. Soul exits to the apron while the ref makes a count… 1… 2… Blaze barely gets out of the pin.}
Thomas Simon: Momentum solidly on the side of the challengers!
Richie Rhodes: Come on, IA! Take it to them!
{This time, Aeryn delivers a series of fast knee strikes to Blaze’s chin, backing him up to the ropes. She sends him to the far side, looking for a lariat. Blaze ducks and rebounds off the ropes. Aeryn raises her boot to kick him, but Jackson catches it as he manages to stop. Aeryn goes for an enzuigiri, only for the Sin City champ ducks the follow-up kick, causing her to land on her face. Quickly, he grabs both legs and drops back, slingshotting her into the champs’ corner. Trey raises his elbow, striking her in the back of the head. She stumbles forward, only for Jackson to spear her right back into the pads. He then tags in his partner. Blaze lifts her into the air and Trey jumps over the top rope. He catches her neck cutter-style, driving her into the mat. Trey covers while his partner goes for a much-needed breather 1… 2… Aeryn bridges out of it before the three.}
Thomas Simon: Great escape by Aeryn!
Richie Rhodes: She is just escaping the inevitable. Iconic Aggression will be showing their domination now!
{Smiling wickedly, Trey sits astride of his opponent for a moment, delivering a series of strikes to her face. He then grabs her by the hair, using it to fling her into the corner. One elbow to the head, and Trey tags Blaze into the ring. Blaze enters and immediately starts mouthing off in Soul’s direction.}
Thomas Simon: Looks like Blaze is actually getting to Soul Shadow but we can’t make out what it is he’s saying to the veteran.
{The Ref turns to see The challenger attempting to enter the ropes, only for the him to cut him off. Meanwhile, Blaze charges his corner. Baxter drops to all fours, allowing his partner to use him for a springboard to land a dropkick to Aeryn’s jaw. She falls across Trey’s back, who tosses her into the air. The former World champ drops to his back, allowing his opponent to land stomach-first across his knees. She rebounds off them to the side, where Jackson catches her in a running bulldog. He calls the ref over while he makes the cover. 1… 2... Aeryn once again kicks out.}
Thomas Simon: The tide has begun to turn…
Richie Rhodes: The tide? Phoenix Rising is being swamped by a tsunami of wrestling talent!!
{Jackson grabs Aeryn, yanking her back to a vertical base. Another tag to Trey as he sends her to the opposite side. Jackson catches her off the ropes and nails a spinebuster. Trey then pulls himself over the top rope, landing a legdrop across Aeryn’s neck. He grabs the leg for a pin attempt. 1… 2… Aeryn pushes him off. Annoyed, Trey bounces off the ropes and kicks her with a Shining Wizard. He raises his arms once again to the crowd, yelling “She’s no better than the Resistance!” to its disapproval. Grinning mockingly at Soul, he pulls Aeryn up one more time, sets her, and lifts her for a vertical suplex. However, Aeryn flips out of the move, hooking Trey’s neck on the way down. The inverted DDT stuns the champion, but Aeryn is too beat up to take immediate advantage. Her partner screams for the tag.}
Thomas Simon: Aeryn with a huge counter here!
Richie Rhodes: Won’t do her any good! If Trey makes the tag, “The Bastard” will finish the job!
{Indeed, Trey rolls over to his corner, bringing in the Sin City champ. However, Aeryn dives to her corner, slapping Soul’s out-stretched hand. Jackson charges with his trademark spear, only for his opponent to somersault over it. Blaze stops before he crashes into the corner, but when he turns, Soul catches him with a jawbreaker. As his opponent drops to his knees, Soul rolls backward, aiming a kick right at Jackson’s temple. Not letting up, he grabs Blaze around the waist, lifts him up, and drops down, driving the champion’s stomach into his shoulder.}
Thomas Simon: Soul is on fire here!
Richie Rhodes: Come on, Jackson!
{Perhaps sensing something, Soul gets the crowd pumped up as he sets Jackson in a powerbomb position. Aeryn tags herself in as Soul lifts Blaze up. Aeryn enters the ring and climbs the turnbuckle, perhaps looking to land their “Down in Flames” finisher. However, Trey rushes across the ring, hitting Soul with a knee before Aeryn can come off with the shiranui. Soul Lets go of Jackson. He turns as Aeryn jumps off the top rope, unable to stop herself. Blaze seizes the opportunity and catches her flawlessly putting her into a bastardizer, Aeryn lands and rolls out of the ring, crashing into the barricade, where she lays stunned. Unfortunately for Blaze, Soul has recovered and shoves him and his shoulder is driven into the ringpost . In obvious pain, he falls to the outside, striking his skull on the apron.}
Thomas Simon: Big save there by Trey!
Richie Rhodes: That is why they are the champs! They know when it is time to strike to save those titles!
{Trey starts stomping Soul relentlessly in the corner. He then runs to the opposite corner, looking to charge his foe. However, just as he dashes across the ring, Soul ducks low and manages to hook Trey across his shoulders. Before the champion can react, Soul spins him around and lands his finisher, the Soul Stealer. The crowd jumps to their feet as Soul makes the cover. However, the bell suddenly rings. Confused, Soul looks towards the ref, who is talking to Honey Winters. The gorgeous ring announcer makes her announcement…}
Honey Winters: Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has ruled the match to be a double countout!!! As a result, there is no winner!!!
{The crowd boos as Soul approaches the ref to argue. In response, he points to both Aeryn, who is still prone on the floor, and Jackson, who is just now struggling to climb back into the ring under the bottom rope.}
Thomas Simon: Soul never realized the ref was counting both Jackson and Aeryn, the legal wrestlers, out of the ring! He got the pin attempt, but it didn’t count!
Richie Rhodes: Brilliant strategy by Trey! He knew who was legal, so he kept Soul from helping his partner! He took one for the team!
Thomas Simon: More like Iconic Aggression got some real good luck…
Richie Rhodes: Champs never need luck.
{Trey is up on his feet now and approaches the two and begins arguing back and forth with Soul Shadow. At first the older man is keeping his cool, responding to Trey’s insults with reserve. Meanwhile Blaze is starting to stand and notices that Aeryn is still unconscious on the ground. He catches Trey’s eye before dropping down to pull something from under the ring}
Thomas Simon: What is Blaze up to? No... it’s over... just be happy you won!!
Richie Rhodes: You see Tommy this is why these two men are champions. They get the job done.
{Blaze has pulled a chair from underneath the ring and starts advancing on Aeryn who is now starting to come to. She groans as she holds her head. Soul Shadow looks up to notice that the tron is showing the camera view on the ground and shoves Trey out of the way to dive under the robes to protect his partner. He grabs the chair from blaze, ripping it from his hands. The two being to start a heated argument. Trey is quick to come to the defence of his partner but not before going under the ring himself and pulling out a baseball bat. The argument starts to escalate as Aeryn rises to her feet and starts challenging the hot headed Trey, while still holding her head. He starts to hit the bat aggressively on his hand.}
Richie Rhodes: This is getting good...
Thomas Simon: This is a mess. Iconic Aggression has even manged to make the level headed Soul Shadow lose his cool.
{The argument is suddenly interrupted by ‘Tom Sawyer’ and the group turn to see that Bob Herman has made his way to the top of the ramp. His music cuts abruptly as he begins to speak}
Bob Herman: ENOUGH!! I am sick and tired of all the garbage that Iconic Aggression is pulling. I could very well just strip you two of the titles right here and be done with it.
{Trey starts yelling at him, even starting to advance toward the ramp still hitting the baseball bat against his hand}
Bob Herman: But I won’t. No... I’m going to Make sure that you two get the beating of a lifetime. It’s about time that IA get their just desserts and what better way then removing all the rules...
Thomas Simon: WHAT?! He can’t mean....
Bob Herman: That’s right, for one night only I am bringing back the one event that allows for anything to go. UNSANCTIONED! On Wednesday October 16th it will be, The Team of Trey Baxter and Jackson Blaze...defending their titles once again against Soul Shadow and Aeryn Ashfield in a everything goes match.
Richie Rhodes: This is a momentous occasion here folks. the return of UNSANCTIONED!
Bob Herman: You wanted a war boys.... you got it.
{He turns to leave but then stops, turns around to look at them}
Bob Herman: And just so you are aware... if anybody interferes with this match it is an automatic pink slip. That includes Laila... or any member of the Resistance.
{He turns again as his music once again fills the arena. Trey is still shouting after the man while Blaze simply shakes his head with that same trademark cocky grin. Soul Shadow assists Aeryn up the ramp. The Camera fades out as he mouths “This isn’t over” to the celebrating champions.}
