We come in on Matt $tone standing in front of a black background, the MPW logo is being projected on it. Without wasting any time, he starts speaking.
Matt: So here we are, one week removed after I lead my team to its second victory here in as many weeks and already, the higher ups realize how bright I can shine on my own and they split us up. So rather than get a lesson in the center of the ring, my partner slash employer decides he doesn’t like it here anymore and for all I know, he might not even show up. He doesn’t plan on continuing his lessons with me, though, but fortunately he signed a contract and I’m getting paid quite handsomely regardless. This gives me free time though to work on my tan, as well as prepare for this upcoming match. I’m not gonna lie, this is shaping up to be a cakewalk. First, as I’ve mentioned, I have my quote-unquote partner in the ring, someone who I know all the strengths and weaknesses of and I have the alligator man who we bested two weeks ago. I wasn’t too impressed with him then, and I’m not exactly sure how he got in this spot to begin with, then again, I don’t understand how this match makes any sense. Rather than complain though, I’m just going to go out there in my home country here in Canada and do what I do best: win. I’ll see you out there, Calgary.
