For the second week in a row, Iconic Agression continues to simply run down to the ring when I'm having a match with someone else. It's almost like they're upset at me for something. But all jokes aside, it's getting annoying. Trey, I told you already that you have to ask nicely. But no, you chose the opposite route. You want to just to annoy me to the point that I'll challenge you. I know the game. But really, it's not up to me. If Bob Herman grants you your rematch, then so be it, if he doesn't, don't blame me. The fact that the three of you have been acting like spoiled brats since I beat you is not the conduct of a champion, it's the conduct of people who people who know that sending their best man wasn't enough to get the job done. I see how it is now. You started this game, and now that you're losing it's no fun anymore. You're just big babies. Typical.
But, even given the circumstances that surround this time and the past month, that will not take away from my focus on my opponent this week, Impaler.
Impaler...
Okay, you know what, why do people have to give themselves such silly names when they want to sound intimidating? Impaler, have you actually impaled anyone? Are you a murderer? Talk about someone who isn't living in the real world. Second, "Impaler" isn't even a proper word. You're just someone who goes around apparently impaling people. Forgive me for finding that hard to believe. Don't get me wrong here, I have seen you in the ring. You are big, and you are tall, and somewhat impressive. I say somewhat because you are supposed to be running around dominating the action. You're supposed to be a destructive force. By the sheer fact that you are big, you should have this world title around your waist. But, you do not. In fact, you struggled time and time again. Do you honestly think that because you are tall that it makes you good? It makes you something that people look at, and then when you struggle, they wonder why. I wonder why. Because I actually think you have the ability to do great things. But you have chosen to just be a lackey, a henchmen. For a man who claims to be in several hall of fames, and multiple time champion elsewhere, in MPW, you've just...fallen in line with those who will lead you to nothing, and they will end up failing and bringing you down with them. It's a shame big guy, a shame you're playing for the wrong team.
You, and those like you, you want to weed out those who you don't see as fit to stay here. Who do you think you are. You don't get the play god here in MPW. No one wrestler does. What your trying to do is wrong, and because you chose to do this, and are trying to pick on those weaker than you, or so you think, I will stand against you. Not as a superhero, not as a wrestler, not even as the World champion of this company. But as a person. No one gave you the right, so you don't get to choose. You don't get to pick who's good enough. That's not up to you. So you, like Crow will have to deal with me. I am the standard of hope in MPW. And no one, not one person in MPW should have to live in fear because you want to terrorize them. Against Crow, more enemies reared their ugly heads before I could properly finish the job. This week, I'm not going to give them the chance to ruin this match. I'm going to come down to the ring and show you exactly what kind of person, what kind of wrestler, what kind of champion I am.
And contrary to what you may think. I am the champion of MPW, because I am the champion of the people. Because I am a hero, and I choose to do what's right. I am the champion because I stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. I am the person who stands between evil and victory. Some may think that deep down, I am the monster, and this is just a mask. They are mistaken. I do what I do, because it's right. I know that it may not always end well. I can look at Chrissy and Brandon and I have to take some of the blame on that. I let them down. But that does not change who I am, and what I stand for. And what I stand for, speaks louder than anything I could ever say. On Reloaded, I'm going to stop you, Impaler. I'm going to put you down because it's what I do. I overcome monsters and demons. I give people something to believe in. And nothing you say or do will stop me from keeping that message alive. You will be tested like never before Impaler. You will be cut down by my swift hand of justice. It's high time I continued doing what I should have been doing since my return, cleaning up MPW of the filth polluting it.
You fit that bill, big man. You may be big, you may be stronger, but you're nothing but a bully. Your kind always did like picking on those smaller and weaker than you...
I'm smaller. I'm weaker. On Reloaded, you come and pick on me. And after I kick you in the head, you'll understand that no matter how big or bad you think you are, it doesn't make you better.
This is MPW. I am in champion, and I am it's hero. You are another impossible mountain for me to climb.
What do you do when faced by the impossible? You do the impossible. And that's what I'm going to do
[ We see a man walking down the sidewalk, carrying his bag of groceries with him. From behind him, a car does a slow roll, creeping up behind him, before speeding towards him. But, of course, the resident superheroine makes her first appearance, swinging in and grabbing the man as the car speeds by. The man ignores the fact that his life was probably saved, and he gets up and pulls out a pistol and fires a few shots in the direction of the car as it rounds the corner. Roxi yells as the man puts his pistol away. ]
Roxi - Hey! What are you...
[ The man turns around, and it's Police Lieutenant Murphy, a cop who's not a fan of the superheroes in town.]
Lieutenant Murphy - What?
Roxi - Murphy? What was that about?
Lieutenant Murphy - None of your business.
Roxi - Friends of yours?
Lieutenant Murphy - I said it's none of your business.
Roxi - A "thank you" would be nice.
Lieutenant Murphy - I didn't ask for you help. Go back to doing whatever is it you people do.
Roxi - Save people like you? Got it.
Lieutenant Murphy - Whatever.
[ Later Roxi is sitting on a rooftop, then her wrist communicator goes off. ]
Roxi - Go ahead Vision.
Vision - Rox, our alarm at the Police station has been tripped.
Roxi - Meaning?
Vision - Meaning they called us. Looks like they actually want our help.
Roxi - Really?
Vision - Nothing appears out of the ordinary, looks like it was activated by someone purposely.
Roxi - Alright, I'm on the way.
[ Roxi lands on the roof of the police station, looking around to make sure this isn't a trap of some kind. ]
Roxi - Hello? You rang?
Lieutenant Murphy - Yeah, I did.
Roxi - Murphy?
Lieutenant Murphy - Yeah, Me.
Roxi - You want my help?
Lieutenant Murphy - Let's get one thing straight sweetheart, I think you are a freak and a menace, and those are you positive qualities.
Roxi - I appreciate your honesty. But I also speak fluent Klingon.
Lieutenant Murphy - Ever the smart alec. The point is, I actually do need help.
Roxi - What's the problem?
Lieutenant Murphy - Someone has it in for me. Tried to run me over twice in the past week.
Roxi - I can't imagine who would dislike a guy like you.
Lieutenant Murphy - Very funny. This is serious.
Roxi - Do you have any suspects?
Lieutenant Murphy - The list is a mile long. I put a lot of guys away in this town.
Roxi - So why do you need me in the first place? Why not just go to the department?
Lieutenant Murphy - Because I'm not exactly the cleanest cop on the force. I don't need IA on my case.
Roxi - So you're on the take?
Lieutenant Murphy - NO! I...I step on toes. I bend the rules. As much as I hate to admit it, we're kind of similar.
Roxi - We made play for the same team, but we are NOT the same. I'll help you, but this better be a clean collar in the end.
Lieutenant Murphy - Yeah, yeah.
Roxi - I'll lean on the people I know. But you need to stay out of trouble.
Lieutenant Murphy - I always do.
Roxi - I've seen it first hand. You may need a guardian angel
Lieutenant Murphy - Isn't that your job?
Roxi - Don't let the mask fool you. I will do what I can to help you, but I'm not your personal savior.
Lieutenant Murphy - The mask is what makes us different.
Roxi - From where I stand, We both wear masks.
Roxi turns and swings off. ]
[ Roxi sets up, waiting for someone. Eventually, a long haired man in a trench coat exits a building, smirks and tucks something in his pocket. Roxi wastes no time following him and then as the man rounds a corner, Roxi snatches him up to the top of the building she's on. ]
Roxi - Allen. Long time no see.
Allen - Oh no...
Roxi - I need some information.
Allen - I don't know anything.
Roxi - Allen, you know you can't lie to me.
Allen - I don't.
Roxi - I guess you don't know where that brick in your pocket came from...
Allen - I don't have nothing...
Roxi reaches into Allen's pocket and pulls out of the taped up drug brick. ]
Roxi - What is this?
Allen - I don't know...This isn't even my coat. It's a friends coat.
Roxi - You know it's not smart to continue to lie to me, If you go away again, you don't come back for a long, long time.
Allen - What do you want to know?
Roxi - Murphy, someone wants him dead. I need to know who.
Allen - That doesn't really narrow it down...
Roxi - I'm not in the mood for games Allen.
Allen - Honest, I don't know. People talk all the time about him, nobody does nothing.
Roxi - What people?
Allen - Jimmy the Shark, Kyle all of them, they talk, but nobody's means it.
Roxi - So, if I ask them, really nicely, you think they would tell me?
Allen - I don't know.
Roxi - So when they ask how I know about them, and I bring you up, everything will be okay, right?
Allen - PLEASE! You can't!
Roxi - That's what you're leaving me with Allen. I can only work with what I'm given, and they will want to know.
Allen - Okay, okay! Big Hal.
Roxi - What about him?
Allen - He's been planning for years. Got lots of guys willing. He's the best bet.
Roxi - Are you sure?
Allen - I SWEAR, THAT'S ALL I KNOW!
Roxi - Good boy. Now, you stay out of trouble. Otherwise, things will be very bad for you, very quickly.
Allen - What are you going to do?
Roxi - Me? Who said anything about me?
Allen - You wouldn't...
Roxi - If it turns out you're lying to me...
Allen - Please!
[ Roxi drops Allen and stashes the brick in her belt. ]
Roxi - I'll take this. But I'll be back if I need more from you.
[ Roxi swings away ]
