Richie Rhodes: Good evening folks, welcome to our special program UNSANCTIONED where scores are settled.

Thomas Simon: For our event tonight, we have a rematch for the Tag titles, the team of Trey Baxter and Jackson Blaze representing Iconic Aggression and the newly formed tag team of Phoenix Rising.

Richie Rhodes: The stipulations are as follows, Anything goes. The arena is empty, there are no fans here tonight and the Roster is off. It's also a tornado, no tag ins, everything is legal

Thomas Simon: But if Laila or The Resistance interfere tonight it will lead to their immediate dismissal.

Richie Rhodes: I tell you Tommy boy, when you see that Aeryn Ashfield it's not a phoenix that's rising here...

Thomas Simon: You're disgusting Richie. We go back stage now to see our teams getting ready

{The scene opens to Trey and Blaze talking to each other, when Laila and Bliss come up from behind. Laila moves as far away from Trey as she can and he gives her a head nod and a smirk. Blaze looks a little more concerned}

Blaze: What are you two doing here?

{Laila smiles and Bliss rolls her eyes}

Laila: Herman said that if I interrupted the match or came to ring side I'd be fired... not if I was backstage. Besides you two don't need my help retaining these titles

{She hits the one on Blaze's shoulder}

Bliss: I'm here to make sure she doesn't get into any trouble.

{Blaze eyes his wife and then gives her a cocky smile}

Blaze: Don't think that because you're not on the roster that it gives you an out for interrupting.

{Bliss shakes her head}

Bliss: I don't do that shit. I had enough of it when I was the leader of AoA.

Trey: But you weren't...

{Blaze and Bliss both stare him into silence and he rolls his own eyes}

Trey: Alright, Alright. Cool your jets.

{Bliss is about to say something when Aeryn and Soul Shadow walk up. Soul Shadow looks at the titles and then at the group and then finally extends his hand}

Soul Shadow: Best of luck out there tonight.

{Trey slaps it away and glares at him}

Trey: We don't need luck, we have ability, something you and your bitch don't have

{Aeryn clenches her fists and starts to advance on the team when Bliss gets between them and pushes her away. the two are staring each other down before Soul pulls Aeryn away}

Soul Shadow: Come on Aeryn. They're not worth it.

{He looks up at Bliss and the two share a look that's not noticed by anybody else because it's so brief. he turns, urging Aeryn to come}

Aeryn: That's right. You're not worth it. I'll just beat your asses in the ring.

{She turns and as they're walking away Trey calls out}

Trey: That's right bitch. Run.

{Laila slaps Trey in the back of the head to prevent him from saying more. He looks at her angrily.}

Blaze: What's gotten into you two lately? We're not supposed to be fighting each other here. We need unity.

{Blaze then gives his wife a long kiss while Laila looks away awkwardly. Trey laughs}

Trey: What? No good luck kiss for me?

Laila: Fuck you Baxter. Just go keep those titles.

{Blaze continues to look confused and starts to walk away, Trey winks at Laila before following}

Bliss: What the hell was that about?

{Laila shakes her head as the two women go to the green room to watch the match}

Thomas Simon: Ladies and Gentlemen this next match is for the MPW Tag Team Championship!!!


{Iconic Aggression is already in the ring, pacing back and forth waiting for the challengers}


Richie Rhodes: This match won't last long. Aeryn is injured, I'm sure it won't take much to put her down.

Thomas Simon: If you notice here folks, we've declined using any entrance music as we are in an empty arena. here come Phoenix Rising now.

{Soul Shadow and Aeryn Ashfield walk onto the entrance ramp. The two pause next to each other, Smiling, Soul raises his fist to his partner. She returns the smiles as her own fist bumps Soul’s. The duo then run to the ring, diving under the bottom rope. Soul Shadow and Aeryn high five each other as both teams get in there respective corners. The ref holds both tag titles out to show the teams. Soul Shadow and Aeryn are discussing strategy in their corner as Iconic Aggression run across the ring and attack both members of Phoenix Rising.}

Richie Rhodes: That's right... get in there and destroy them. Iconic Aggression is my bet to win tonight and retain the titles. They have been undefeated for a reason

Thomas Simon *laughing*: Undefeated only because they've only really defended their titles like twice in the last six months. Let's face it, until recently there hasn't really been much competition for them to defend against. This is where iconic Aggressions true colours are really shown

{Soul Shadow gains the upper hand on Jackson Blaze and whips him into the ropes. Soul Shadow charges closely behind and on the rebound Soul Shadow hits an amazing clothesline that sends Blaze flying over the top rope to the outside. Baxter breaks free of Aeryn and runs at Soul Shadow knocking down to the mat from behind; Baxter turns around only to get hit by a devastating calf kick from Aeryn that sends Baxter out of the ring to his tag team partner. Aeryn leaps over the ropes and lands with perfect balance on the ring apron, Aeryn climbs to the top rope of the apron and leaps of with a spectacular moonsault that destroys Iconic Aggression! Eventually all three on the outside get to their feet but Soul Shadow leaps off the ring to the outside with a miss calculated cross body that knocks them all back down.}

Thomas Simon: Slip up there by Soul, I don't think he meant to hit his partner there

Richie Rhodes: All the better. If they lose they only have themselves and their lack of fluidity as a team to blame.

Thomas Simon: Are you crazy? Have you been watching them the last few weeks? They are phenomenal in the ring together

Richie Rhodes: And apparently a little more outside it.

{Blaze and Soul Shadow get to there feet but Baxter grabs on to Soul Shadow’s leg to distract him. Blaze sees this opportunity and walks over to Aeryn and stands above her, a low blow out of desperation from Aeryn and Blaze sinks to his knees in pain and agony. Soul Shadow looks down at Baxter clutching his leg then starts stomping away on him. Baxter breaks lets go as Soul Shadow walks over to Aeryn . They look over at Blaze who is struggling to get to his feet whilst holding his groin. Phoenix Rising nod at each other then they do a double drop kick on Blaze as he turns around that snaps him to the floor. Soul Shadow grabs Baxter and rolls him into the ring.}

Thomas Simon: There's your fluidity you idiot. Yes... new tag champions are in the making.

{Soul Shadow taunts Baxter as he crawls to the corner but of course his partner is still down. Soul Shadow walks over to Baxter and lifts him from the mat to above his head, Soul Shadow does a Military Press before dropping him face first to the mat. Soul Shadow goes over to Baxter and turns him over so he lies on his back, then Soul Shadow locks in a tight short arm scissors trying to wear down Baxter. Baxter comes close to tapping but instead he turns onto his side and hits a devastating right hand to Soul Shadow. Soul Shadow releases the hold and rolls around on the mat until he eventually makes a nod to Aeryn who comes in like a raging bull. Baxter gets to his feet quickly but is met by stiff punches from Aeryn, she backs Baxter into the ropes and whips him across the ring, Baxter rebounds and is met with a corkscrew head takedown form Aeryn . Baxter springs half up and clutches his back in agony as Aeryn takes advantage dropkicking him in the face sending Baxter to the mat, Aeryn helps up Baxter but Baxter quickly hits Aeryn with a stiff uppercut and then immediately hits a dropkick to Aeryn who falls into his corner. Soul Shadow climbs into the ring annoyed and blocks two straight punches from Baxter then starts taking a few shots at him. Baxter staggers back and Soul Shadow sets up for one last big punch but gets pulled out of the ring by Blaze who is now back to his feet. Blaze and Soul Shadow exchange shots as Aeryn quickly gets in the ring and leaps forward at an unexpected Baxter with a inverted facelock the quickly somersaulting, to roll into a three-quarter facelock, Baxter has his face forced into the matt as the bulldog is carried out. He lays there stunned as Aeryn gets back to her feet with an un mistakable smirk of satisfaction on her face.}

Richie Rhodes: Oh stop smiling you English Tart.

Thomas Simon: Now Now Richie. Be nice. Looks like Soul and Blaze are really heating up.

{Soul Shadow has gained the advantage by whipping Blaze head first into the cold steel of the ring post. We then get a shot of Soul Shadow who walks over to Blaze with blood dripping down from his nose, which appears to be broken probably from a stiff punch that Blaze hit him with just a little while ago. Aeryn is yelling something to Soul Shadow with her back turned to Baxter who is now kneeling, Aeryn turns back to Baxter who strong arms the side of her knee which stuns Aeryn as she falls to the mat. Soul Shadow immediately goes after Baxter, but the former world champ rolls out of the way of his kick and gives the standing man a cocky smirk. He stands grappling with Soul Shadow, Aeryn starts to get to her own feet with the help of the ropes, when Blaze grabs her ankle. She lands smacking her already injured head against the matt. Soul Shadow's attention goes immediately to partner, giving Baxter the opening he needs to punch him in the stomach. Blaze gets back in the ring and pulls Aeryn to the middle before Iconic Aggression both grab an arm of soul shadow and send him careening into the turnbuckle.}

Richie Rhodes: Oh... looks like that hurt...oh but they're not nearly finished with Aeryn

{Baxter returns to the middle of the ring and lifts Aeryn to her feet and grabs her by her hair and points while talking to his partner. Blaze doesn't hesitate a second before sending a stiff kick to the gut of the woman who lets out a groan. Baxter lifts Aeryn onto his shoulders and looks as though he is about to hit a powerbomb but with a little bit of new found strength Aeryn manages to reverse it into a hurricanrana. Both lay near the center of the ring worn out. Blaze returns to the turnbuckle where Soul Shadow is getting to his feet. A smile spread over his face as he sets up for his finisher.}

Thomas Simon: Noooo... Soul watch out!

Richie Rhodes: Yes... Blaze... show him who the real double champ is!

{Blaze charges and rolls Soul shadow into the Bastardizer. Baxter is the first to his feet in the middle of the ring stomps away at Aeryn not allowing her anytime to get the momentum back to her side. Soul Shadow is clearly angry now, he dodges a hit by Blaze, steam rolling him out of the way and runs at Baxter and delivers a stiff clothesline that nearly decapitates him. Baxter gets back up but gets knocked down by a spinning heel kick from a resurgent Aeryn . They both get back to their feet at the same time and start a brawl in the ring, Aeryn gets Baxter backed up onto the ropes and clotheslines him over the top rope to the outside. Aeryn jumps onto the top rope with perfect balance, she leaps of with a devastating leg drop that connects with Baxter’s neck.. Blaze jumps down from the apron and the opposite side of the ring, avoiding a still sieving Soul Shadow and greets the unsuspecting Aeryn with a massive Boot to the face knocking her to the floor. Blaze stands over her as Soul Shadow runs the outside of the ring and nails Blaze with a boot of his own. Soul Shadow grabs Blaze by the hair and tosses him to the barrier sending him head over heels into the empty stand. Soul Shadow leaps over the ringside barrier going after Blaze. Meanwhile Aeryn and Baxter begin to stir on the floor. Baxter is the first to his feet and he rolls over to the ring and lifts the cover, after several minutes Aeryn gets to her feet and sees Baxter standing over her, once again a Bat has been threatened as he hits it against his hand. Both Baxter and Aeryn circle each other, watching each other like a hawk.}

Thomas Simon: I don't think either of these two is going to give up so easily. Aeryn is showing just how much a true fighter she is tonight

{They both make their moves at the same time and the surprise causes Baxter to drop the bat and they lockup, Baxter pushes Aeryn and she rolls back on to the floor, Aeryn is back up quickly and they lockup again this time the advantage goes to Aeryn . They go in for another lock that involves both of them showing a huge struggle with no one actually winning the lockup, Baxter sends a knee to the gut of Aeryn , Baxter follows it up with a clubbing blow to the spine of Aeryn who instantly falls flat to the mats.}

Richie Rhodes: And she's down. No one is going to get up from that. Goodnight Nurse I'm spent!

{Back in the stands, Blaze and Soul Shadow are brawling through the first row, punching away at each other. Blaze grabs a chair and folds it up; lifting it above his head and brings it crashing down to the head of Soul Shadow who is instantly opened up even more on the floor. As the blood pours from the head of Soul Shadow Blaze continues the attack mercilessly. Back at ringside Baxter has brought his foot down hard into the chest of Aeryn , he uses the move as a cocky pin.}

Thomas Simon: ONE-TWO-TH-AERYN KICKED OUT!!!

Baxter doesn’t look concerned. He picks up Aeryn and throws her under the top rope. He quickly gets in himself and goes to one of the four corners of the ring and unties the turnbuckle padding, he turns and walks back to Aeryn , Aeryn flips up and lets fly with several right hands, she backs Baxter into the ropes and whips him across the ring, as Aeryn goes for a dropkick on the returning Baxter, Baxter ducks and watches as Aeryn crashes to the mat, Baxter continues running, giving Aeryn a massive superkick to her middle. Baxter covers her hooking the leg.

Thomas Simon: ONE-TWO-TH-KICKOUT BY AERYN !!! Baxter actually looks shocked this time.

Richie Rhodes: He's relentless. Look at that drive, going for another pin. He's going to have it this time for sure

{He covers Aeryn again hooking BOTH legs this time. }

Thomas Simon: ONE-TWO-KICKOUT BY AERYN AGAIN!

{Baxter gets up and walks up to the ref his back turned on Aeryn . Baxter lays a verbal beating on the ref and even draws back his right fist as if he’s going to hit him, Aeryn sees her chance and sets Baxter up for a schoolboy, the ref pushes Baxter into it and then makes a fast count.}

Richie Rhodes: ONE-TWO-TH-BAXTER KICKS OUT!!!

Thomas Simon: Feeling mighty proud of yourself aren't you Rich?

Richie Rhodes: I have confidence in the champs.

{Back outside and Soul Shadow has begun battling back despite the amount of blood pouring from his forehead, Soul Shadow and Blaze brawl there way up the crowd stairs now completely out of view from the partners and the worried referee. Back in the ring and Baxter and Aeryn are again locked up, Aeryn manages to whip Baxter into the turnbuckle with the top padding removed, Baxter screams in pain as his back hits it. Aeryn runs at him and jumps attempting to setup a leaping hurricanrana, but Baxter simply catches her and reverses it into a setup for a powerbomb, Baxter then lifts her and drops Aeryn over the top rope to the floor outside. Aeryn lands head first onto the thin protection mat on the outside. Baxter climbs the turnbuckle to the very top and leaps of with a devastating elbow drop, right into the neck of Aeryn . Baxter then lifts Aeryn up and slams his head down onto the ring apron, Baxter then slides Aeryn in to break the ten count from the ref. Back in the crowd and there is shouting and movement as Soul Shadow and Blaze battle it out about 20 feet high near the top of the arena.}

Thomas Simon: I think that this fight is getting personal up there. Neither one of them are doing their partner any good in the stands

Richie Rhodes: Baxter and Blaze are solid. That's why they have held so many titles here.

{A frustrated Baxter is just continuing the attack on Aeryn who he has once again dragged back into the ring by locking in a figure four-leg lock.}

Richie Rhodes: A great lock up by Baxter. I don't understand how this girl is still holding out. Just give up already before the real beating begins

Thomas Simon: She's got more balls then most the roster. I don't thinks she's near done.

{Aeryn screams in agony desperately trying to reach the ropes but failing every time. The ref is now worried and has no choice but to check how much longer it would be till he was forced to stop the fight, as the ref bends near her, Aeryn hits him accidentally on the side of the head with his own arm which knocks the ref out. Baxter keeps the hold on but Aeryn forces herself to the ropes, as Baxter shakes his head not caring, Aeryn bends sideways over the ring and then lifts up the ring apron and grabs the first thing she can find, not knowing what it will be, Baxter is applying more pressure as she grimaces in pain. Aeryn is able to slide the weapon into the ring next to herself. Baxter moves the hold back into the center of the ring, not noticing Aeryn who now holds the chair above her head as she now sits up; Aeryn brings it crashing down on the skull of Baxter who is immediately opened up. Aeryn slides herself away from the bloodied Baxter and with the help of the ropes brings herself up to her feet, but is unstable on her feet but she shakes herself and still goes outside the ring and looks under the apron for another weapon.}

Thomas Simon: I have so much more respect for women in this industry

Richie Rhodes: Oh whatever Tommy, you just like her assets

{Back in the crowd and Soul Shadow and Blaze have finally brawled to the highest point possible inside the arena. Soul Shadow is out brawling Blaze thanks to his superior strength. Soul Shadow grabs Blaze by the hair and takes him towards the end of this block of seats. Soul Shadow lifts Blaze above his head and throws him off the block of seats just and down the gap that is above the fire exit. Blaze disappears from sight, Soul Shadow holds his arms in the air and yells out that he just finished Blaze, but as he turns back he is shocked to see Blaze pull himself up as he dangles just at the end of the crowd section. Blaze manages to completely pull himself up, he charges at Soul Shadow and delivers a breath taking spear that sends both men flying into the row below. }

Thomas Simon: Wow, would you look at that. This is why Unsanctioned is an empty arena. Could you imagine if there were fans sitting in those seats right now?

Richie Rhodes: Ya, they would have gotten their money's worth.

{Back in the ring and Aeryn has brought in a red dented STOP sign. Aeryn drops the STOP sign and drags Baxter into the center of the ring. She places the sign on Baxter’s chest. Aeryn climbs the robes and leaps doing an elbow drop into the STOP sign, nailing it into Baxter’s chest. Aeryn rolls around grabbing her elbow in pain from that move. Baxter lays flat with his arms sprawled out. once again Back in the stands Soul Shadow and Blaze are still fighting but are dangerously close to a entryway. Blaze out of nowhere gives Soul Shadow a stiff kick into groin. Soul Shadow hunches over as Blaze sets him up for another bastardizer but Soul Shadow quickly musters up his last bit of strength and lifts Blaze up flipping him over shoulders. Blaze falls 12 feet down onto the concrete floor in the entryway instantly knocking him out. A bloodied and exhausted Soul Shadow then starts to make his way down through the stands towards the ring.}

Thomas Simon *Singing*: 'Stop...in the name of love' or in this instance the Tag titles

Richie Rhodes: Don't quit your day job Tommy... but actually yes... do quit then I'll have a  new commentary partner with some sense

{Inside the ring Aeryn uses the ropes to get to her feet. She limps over to Baxter and grabs the STOP sign. Aeryn tosses it out of the ring and turns drops covering Baxter. Soul Shadow has made his way back to ringside. He slides in the ring and awakens the ref. The ref slow counts}

Referee: …..ONE……………………….TWO………………………..THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PHOENIX RISING WINS!!!!!!!!

Thomas Simon: Phoenix Rising have finally captured the MPW Tag Team Titles!

{Soul Shadow rolls out of the ring and grabs the belts. He gets back in the ring and helps Aeryn up. Aeryn and Soul Shadow look at each other and he hands Aeryn the belt. A limping Aeryn holds her belt high in the air as Soul Shadow does the same. }

Richie Rhodes: That was rigged. It had to be. There's no way that IA could lose... they had this in the bag

Thomas Simon: Well tonight just wasn't their night. Finally some fresh blood in the Tag team division.

{The tron turns on and Bob Herman's face appears.}

Bob Herman: Well done. I had complete faith that you two would pull it off....now make sure you get those injuries looked after Aeryn.

{Aeryn is smiling amid through dirt and blood. Soul's face is stained red. Both members of Iconic Aggression are laid out. Blaze is hardly moving on the concrete. Baxter is starting to move a little in the ring. Then from top of the ramp two women run down, each to a member of iconic aggression. Soul starts to yell at Laila as she climbs into the ring. She looks from one to the other before walking right by them and kneeling at Baxter's side. On the outside, Bliss is helping her Husband up.}

Bob Herman: Well I can't fire Laila, the match is over. Congrats again.

{His face disappears at the tron goes black. Soul helps Aeryn out of the ring, not even looking back at the fallen members of IA}
