Recent events have me thinking, so much. I can feel my own anger increasing tenfold each week due to the fact that it seems that week in and week out, someone, somehow, always gets the better of me. That wasn’t the case last week when I was sitting on commentary watching Reloaded’s main event, but I’m still questioning myself in some aspects. The more agitated I become about what happens with me every week, the more I start to believe that perhaps, I am too soft and too nice. My head right now is in a whirlwind and I can feel right and wrong trying to tug me one way or the other. Ironically, I don’t even know what’s right and what’s wrong in wrestling anymore.
December 6, 2013 – Two days before Reloaded
Valentina Madison is in her hotel room in Nashville, Tennessee as she continues to try and figure everything out to the best of her ability. She’s definitely hungry because she didn’t compete last week and she’s definitely got a chance to really show what she can be capable of in a couple of nights. However, she’s still unsure of what she really wants for herself. She’s stressed over it all, so to blow off some stress, she’s decided to flip on her laptop and just browse the Internet for, well, the hell of it really.
Valentina Madison: I’ve got way too much going on inside of my head.
As Valentina just scours the Internet randomly, she hears a familiar “pop” on her laptop. She looks at her taskbar and sees that she’s got a Skype notification. She checks it out and sees that someone had sent an add request. The username is “yournewinfluence14” and the add message says “rookie, it’s me!”
Valentina Madison: Oh my goodness, it’s that same woman that was telling me some rather interesting information back in Philadelphia. She’s interested in me, that’s for sure. But, I’m not exactly in agreement with much of what she’s preaching. And yet, I’m still curious….
Valentina accepts the add request from “yournewinfluence14”. She quickly changes her Skype status to Invisible to prevent a massive flood of messages that she usually gets. However…
Yournewinfluence14: Why did you go offline so quickly?
WildcatValMPW: I get a bunch of messages from my friends.
Yournewinfluence14: You have friends? L! O! L!
WildcatValMPW: I don’t interact with just wrestlers you know.
Yournewinfluence14: Oh right, your friends outside of the business, the ONLY friends you have in your life.
WildcatValMPW: That’s not true, I’ve got so much respect for Soul Shadow and Aeryn Ashfield, they’re great people.
Yournewinfluence14: But are they REALLY your friends? Change your status to “Busy” so I can call you. If you want to succeed in wrestling, you’ll answer my call.
Valentina changes her status from “Invincible” to “Busy”, enabling “yournewinfluence14” to place a call to her. Valentina just watches it ring for a minute or so, but ultimately, she ends up answering it.
Valentina Madison: Hello?
“yournewinfluence14”: I had a feeling you were going to answer my Skype call.
Valentina Madison: How in the world did you figure out my Skype username?
“yournewinflience14”: Because you’re stupid! I know you’re not the only Valentina Madison on earth, but when you include “MPW” on it, I can easily tell that it’s you. But let’s have a nice little chat shall we. Back in Columbus, you allowed some mystery idiot to send you to the hospital. In other words, you’re still soft. How could you not see that coming?
Valentina Madison: You watched that incident right? I was IN the dumpster. There was no way I could have seen that hitman coming.
“yournewinfluence14”: And I bet you’ve been racking your brain trying to figure out who did this to you, didn’t you?
Valentina says nothing.
“yournewinfluence14”: That’s what I thought, and if you’re still trying to figure it out, I have some breaking news for you. The more you continue to wonder, the softer you’re becoming. Whoever did this to you clearly WANTS YOU to wonder, thus, you’re giving more power to whoever did it just the same exact way you kept giving power to that loser Christian Carter. Christmas is still weeks away, you don’t need to be so generous by giving away power. You’re so talented, and it disgusts me to see you be so stupid!
Valentina just takes it, without having a word to say.

If I were you, I would have said “I hope what they did was worth it for the blood that’s about to be on my hands”. You can hear how much better that sounds right?

“yournewinfluence14”: When don’t I? Shut up and keep listening rookie. You really went through the motions on commentary and I can understand your logic, you wanted to make your actions do the talking. Good plan….and then you got your ass handed to you until Clash and Roxi saved you.
Valentina Madison: True, but that proves you wrong. You were saying that the Resistance doesn’t care about me. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t have saved me.
“yournewinfluence14”: WRONG! Again rookie, they didn’t want to save you. They’re at war with guys like Chris Cable, Kurt Newman and Christian Carter. Their intentions were SELFISH! Like the last time they saved you, you were at the right place at the right time! They merely “saved you” just to get a measure of revenge against your enemies. If you don’t believe me, think about this: where were ANY Resistance members when Christian Carter attacked you on the stage a while back?
Valentina Madison: Now that’s just one time….
“yournewinfluence14”: Where were ANY Resistance members when you and Aeryn Ashfield got knocked around in that dumpster two weeks ago? They weren’t anywhere and it wouldn’t surprise me if one of those members were the ones driving the truck that night because the Resistance, ever since ridding MPW of the Iconic Aggression, have grown massive egos, even going as far as adding a 4th member, which wasn’t necessary at all! You expressed support for them rookie, and so I pose you this question. If the Resistance gave a damn about you, why did they add Taufik as the 4th member and not you, despite the fact that you expressed more support for them than Taufik did?
Valentina Madison: I… I….
Valentina is shocked to realize the conclusion she’s about to make.

Uptown Nashville; where Valentina Madison is still trying to sort things out. She knows that some of what this mystery woman is telling her is true, but she just doesn’t like the way that she’s treating her or the way she’s trying to deliver her message. Nonetheless, she has a match tomorrow night and she’s about to vent her anger.
Valentina Madison: Tonight, it goes without saying that I am in the biggest match of my career as I’m in the main event in a non-title match against the MPW World Champion, Roxi Johnson. Roxi, I remember when I first came into MPW. I remember praising you to the high heavens. I remember the admiration that I had for you when I first came around. However, after what I’ve come to realize as of late, I’m not exactly sure how to feel about you now. Let’s get the basics out of the way. You’re the MPW World Champion, you’re one of the most successful, if not the most successful woman in MPW history and you did the entire wrestling world a favor when you went into High Stakes and dethroned Trey Baxter of the Iconic Aggression to become the new MPW World Champion. On wrestling ability and business merit alone Roxi, you deserve to be the champion. But now, after what I’ve learned recently, I’m starting to wonder if, as a human being, you deserve to be the champion.
I think by the time I’m done saying what I need to say, I’ll have my answer, but here’s something that I personally want to know. Do you even respect me? Do you even care about me? Because in all honestly, I don’t think you do. Here I’ve been admiring you and respecting you from day one that I came into MPW and I’m just an afterthought to you. You’re probably even looking right past me and looking ahead to the Uncivil War supershow aren’t you? You’re probably looking past me and looking ahead to your next world title defense, aren’t you? If anything Roxi, you’ve racked up some rough losses as of late to people like Kurt Newman and even Christian Carter of all people. Are you looking past them too? I don’t condone their nonsense, but a true champion never looks past their opponents and I’m very disappointed in you Roxi, I thought perhaps, you would have known that, after all, you’re the veteran that, for god knows what reason, everyone gets on their knees and puckers up and I’ll even admit that even I was once stupid enough to do that, but not anymore, because I’m starting to see the truth.
Valentina calms down and takes a deep breath before continuing.
Valentina Madison: You’re a fraud Roxi, plain and simple. You soak in all the admiration you get from people like me and you take advantage of it. I would not be surprised to learn that you could care less about Clash, Starr or Taufik, that you’re merely using them to your gain. After all, a good Batman can’t hurt to have three Robins right? I have my wonders about all of you Resistance people. How come you guys didn’t disband amicably once the Iconic Aggression splintered? Why did you have to go through the trouble of adding a 4th member when there was no need for it? I’ll tell you why Roxi, it’s because your ego is superhuman, in more ways than one, and no, that’s not a compliment whatsoever. Even still, if you wanted to add a 4th member, why Taufik? He hardly expressed support for you guys. He and Chrissy can’t even get along these days. You and your crew have helped me, sure, but only to fight your arch enemies and boost your egos, not to save me. Perhaps I should just stop being a damsel in distress, or perhaps I need to wake up and realize the truth: The Resistance has become exactly what they hated, the Iconic Aggression.
But why Taufik, a selfish man who was once accused of assaulting his girlfriend? Why not me? Why did I have to be disrespected despite my outpouring of support for your crew during your war with the Iconic Aggression? You don’t care about me Roxi, but once I beat you, you will and you’ll realize that I’m no rookie, I’m a threat to what you care about the most.
