Damn! I hate getting up this early this early to train, especially since we've trained late last night. I never knew David was this set on having everything being perfect. I mean most of the time the guy acts like he rather be out having fun, but look at him now, jumping around in the ring working on his timing. Damn I can barely keep up
[Jimmy takes a sip of water as he keeps staring towards the ring where his tag partner David is training]
When I think back to when I first met its almost laughable to think we ever end up teaming. I still remember our first match, what a disaster
[he chuckles a little as he reminices]
There we were had never even worked together, me with the worst hangover ever, just wanting to finish that shit. David was so nervous he nearly lost his lunch. But I still remember him grabbing my shoulder and dragging me through the curtain, when our music hit. And although he had to pick up my slack because I was to hungover he never complained
[he gets misty eyed and looks down at the floor]
That was the day of my last drink, I still remember me telling him
... David I have a problem and I need help!... and what he do? hugs me and then drags me to a meeting without a word
[Again he looks up at the ring, watching David giving some advise to a couple of other guys]
Heh I might just admit it, he saved my life that day, I still carry the scars from the time before him. back when life didnt feel worth living, at that time it couldnt get violent enough, I needed the pain to feel alive. I did it all tables, lighttubes, barbwire you name it. Nothing was to dangorous for me, hell most of the time I was so drunk I couldnt even feel the pain, I could just watch the blood spill and then try to stand up for the next hit.
[He starts to laugh a little to himself]
And then there was the donkey. Damn what was I thinking, I'm probaly the only guy in the world having a rivalry with a donkey and a midget in the world. Never thought anyone would take me serious again after that one. But David changed all that and now here we are one year later ready to start with a new company and ready to leave the past behind.
Hey Jimmy! are you gonna sit around all day or are you ready to train?
[David's voice pulls Jimmy from his thoughts]
Yeah yeah! Im coming now
[Jimmy gets up from the bench with a sarcastic smirk playing on his lips]
Damn that kid is annoying
