I just got my new laptop from QVC well ordered it so be on maybe this weekend depends when it ships but it's a Acer 15.6 dual core 4GB Ram notebook.

our main PC is an acer. I Agree...nice equipment. my laptop is a gateway though, i like the screen on this one

i've got the same laptop as drake and my laptop screen broke even though i didn't drop it, knock it..nothing!

I've got a Dell, I love my Dell... works wonderfully, though I need to get two of my arrow keys re-attached.

The laptop i had in school was a straight IBM and it was decent but it was crap compared to my desktop, not just my laptop. It's too bad your school doesn't give you guys new equipment every year....but when I was in high school they didn't give you laptops...I had one in college as part of my program and I had to give it back after. Drake...sounds like your lap top needs to be re-formated or re-imaged as they say now.

they could be used laptops.... but IPad's can be pricey... hope you can work something out Holly...
