I park my car in one of the many spots that are still available in the spots. I get out and hear the huge echo of my car door closing as the carpark is silent. I walk for a couple of minutes reaching the sliding doors that open into the huge room of MPW HQ. The sounds of lots of people running around getting ready for the weekly episode of MNME is something that never leaves your mind as a wrestler. Even in the smallest of wrestling companies there is always something that makes you feel like your home, something that is familiar to you, that stimulates the brain of a human being. I wasn't one for change and coming into this arena every week always brings a smile to my face.
I say hello to a few people before making my way to the locker room. There I shake my head and sigh as Jay Wyatt is standing outside the locker room with a microphone talking to a cameraman. Jay hears my footsteps behind him and quickly telling the cameraman to turn on the camera.
Cable: How long have you been waiting Wyatt?
Wyatt: Well Cable nice to see you again, I was hoping for someone else but no one has really arrived yet so why don't we have a little talk?
Cable: I guess I don't really have any choice so lets get this over and done with.
After Jay and myself fix ourselves up a little and the cameraman gets fully prepared the camera starts rolling.
Jay: Hello MPW Nation I am Jay Wyatt and I am here today with a man that comes up against Jason X in a very short span of time when MNME hits the air once again. Now Chris you have recently lost to Taulfik and both himself and Jason have had words directed towards you commenting about the match. Not only that but Taulfik's partner Camilla has also come out with a reason why she helped Taulfik at High Stakes, your thoughts?
Cable: Well I will address what you started with and why is it that people are thinking that Taulfik "dominated me" and that I'am rubbish that can't win a match, well if i recall wasn't there a certain person interfering then who knows who could've won that match. Taulfik is a great competitor, i'll give him that much but he hasn't proven anything yet. If Taulfik can beat me in a 1v1 match without any interference than we can see who the better man is, until then I don't regard Taulfik any higher then myself until he can beat me cleanly, if he ever does than I will confess that Taulfik is the better man.
Jay: What about you next opponent Jason?
Cable: What X fails to understand is that Chris Cable is not Step Up! Chris Cable is not some rookie just coming into the wrestling business, Jason X is thinking that he can stroll into MNME and beat someone like me. Well just like the rest of those TWATS he has his head so far up his ass that you can see it through his ear. Jason is going to get a huge wake up call in a just a few short hours where Chris Cable will stroll into that ring and knock the lights out of X and then will move onto bigger and better things.
Jay: You just raised something interesting there, what is next for Chris Cable?
Cable: To tell you the truth Jay, I have no clue. At the moment I am just going to let things roll out and then reassess from there. I know it seems clique but i'm taking it one match at a time and when that big oppurtunity or when something comes up then thats when I can see what's next for C Double. So I will see all of you in the ring tonight where you will see Chris Cable take out a TWAT member and also quickly congrats first to Trey for becoming the world champ and also to as much as I hate to say it Johnny Clash and my mate Drake Huunter, two of the greatest wrestlers in the world went one on one at High Stakes and produced the best match in all of pro wrestling history and I would like to thank both for what they have done in this business. Everyone in the back has tremendous respect for the two of you, regardless how big of a dick Clash is.
Jay: Thanks Chris and a reminder folks to all watch tonight to see all the fallout from High Stakes and of cause Chris Cable take on Jason X!

I shake hands with Jay.
Jay: Thanks Chris now I think another interview and we have enough to put on the MPW pre show.
Chris: Any time Jay, I have to say looking past your somewhat persevering personality and hideous tie your not a bad guy.
Jay: Well past your knowing voice we have a somewhat mutual respect for each other.
We smile at each other before i walk past jay and go to the locker room where I put down my bag and realise that now it was time to concentrate. I knew that i could beat Jason and I needed to find that fire again. I haven't won to many matches yet and it would be good to get one on the board and I knew tonight was the night to bring things together.
I put all my stuff down before stripping to a singlet and shorts where I get ready for the match. I drop to my gut and start to do some pushups. After 30 or so i notice a shadow infront of my body. I look up to find scruffy boots that looked like it had been in someones locker for 10 years and I knew instantly it was Bill Johnson. I got up with a huge grin on my face and saw the man that moulded who I am today, I person who inspired me to become a wrestler.
Johnson: G'day Mate
I notice the thick Australian accent under Bill's voice as he greets me.
Cable: Johnson, it's been so long. How have you been? More importantly what are you doing here?
Johnson: Well look at Mr. America over here, I haven't heard you in 8 years and when I do it seems like that Aussie accent isn't there anymore?
Cable: Really Mate?
I say these words with a real Australian accent which makes him laugh.
Johnson: Well anyways, I am here because I now have a job here.
Cable: In MPW?
Johnson: Oh no, i wish nah it's down the road at a wrestling school
Cable: Congrats! You can use for advertising that you trained the great Chris Cable and Drake Hunter!
Johnson: Well who says I already haven't
Cable: This is really weird cause just recently I have had a lot of people from my past come and see me?
Johnson: Oh well that's just a bit of a coincidence I guess, is Drake around?
Cable: Not right now, but i'll tell him your in town.
