Ian was coming of a victory after the final Step up! show that MPW will ever host, now, in it's place was Thursday Night Takedown kind of a brand extension but also not really, MNME wrestlers could come to Takedown and Takedown wrestlers could go to MNME at anytime.
But that wasn't really of importance right now, what is important is that next week Ian was fighting to Qualify for the X-core Title against Nytrus. Ian had seen Nytrus wrestle, this would be a very good match, and like always the best man will win. Which would be Andrews.
Of course Andrews would win, after he is the best on the TNT roster, as far as he knew he only lost one match and that was a fluke really. He wasn't at 100% going into that match so he pretty mch gave his opponent the win, but now it was different, now Ian was Wrestling for a shot at a title. A title that, at least in his mind, he has already won.
