(The scene opens up in a bright sunny day in Las Vegas, we seem to be in a familiar house and we see Jason Xavier and Faith just chilling in the living room area, both seem relaxed but nerves are there for this week’s Thursday Night Takedown show.)
Jason X: Finally I cannot wait to get in the ring this week and start the X-Core qualifier.
Faith: It’s about time too all these other losers in the X-Core tournament are just names they won’t even be in there in the final, it will be you.
Jason X: Too right I have had a short break and now back and ready to start kicking ass again, and prove why I am a member of TWI.
Faith: Let’s not just think about that but let’s think about how me and you are going to establish ourselves as real threats because most of those douchebags on the roster doesn’t see it like that. I hear the whispers from the guys and girls in the back and it pisses me off.
Jason X: Those whispers you say honey will be squashed come this week on TNT when I take on and beat Jake Cage. This X-Core tournament was created for me and my only everyone else is just a stepping stone. And I mean that I will work my ass off week in and week out when I return to prove to everyone I am not here by fluke. I didn’t get signed by MPW through word of mouth I got signed through my natural talent and I intend to showcase that.
Faith: I have the utmost faith in you no pun intended but the last time you was in a match was a tag team match with Johnny Clash representing the TWI against the Promised Ones of Christian Carter and Jake Cage, homework needs to be done baby.
Jason X: You’re right for sure, last time I don’t know what happen was it a fluke win for them? Or were we just off our game. But I’ll tell you this I am on my game now. You have seen me all week down in the basement in our home gym training non-stop. I haven’t felt this good training for a while and now I know I am ready to get back to basics.
Faith: What you mean?
Jason X: What I mean is sure I have developed somewhat of an ego since joining TWI and now it’s time I rectify that, do what I did back in our G-2 wrestling days where I would go out and be the underdog and beat veterans. That is what I need to do and now hopefully after this short break I am now rejuvenated. My passion is back and now I just want to win again.
Faith: Loving the emotion you’re showing now honey and I have no doubt in my mind that you will get through and beat Jake Cage. There must have been a full moon in the night sky when Cage and Carter beat you and Johnny Clash or something because it would never happen any other time.
Jason X: Agreed. I feel like I can go in that ring and go through the tournament right now but I have to wait a few days. Which is unfortunate because I’m eager right now too?
Faith: I know but it’s not long now either a few days are all we have to wait for, and then you can do what you do best.
Jason X: I know just a few days.
(With that being said Jason gets up from the chair and heads out of the room, the scene returns in the home gym of Jason Xavier’s in the basement. Jason who is sitting on a weightlifting bench and sweating and with a towel wrapped around his neck)
Jason X: You know what I admit I gained an ego since joining MPW and TWI but now I intend to shred that ego from me and simply work hard, knuckle down and get down to basic. I will do everything I can in order to get through this X-Core Tournament because I believe that this is destined for me, the X-Core championship and the X-Core champion Jason Xavier has a nice ring to it. But first I have to get through my opponents, firstly Jake Cage. Jake the last time we met in the ring something happened, something unnatural happened you and Christian Carter defeated me and Johnny Clash. It was a FLUKE. It will not happen a second time especially something as this importance as the X-Core qualifier is, this championship is written for me.
(A smirk appears on the face of Jason)
Jason X: Not trying to be cocky here but I feel like this championship but it is all in my hands to win it or to lose it. And I will not lose it in any way, nothing will hold me back and Jake Cage will find that out. Jake I am not going to be holding anything back from this point on and my desire is to win the X-Core championship. Whatever I have to do to win I will and even if I have to lose blood I will. It doesn’t matter how much blood pours out of me it simply doesn’t matter. I want that championship; I want to be the first ever champion of the X-Core title and it all is in my hands. Sure there is some talent in this tournament but I will overcome whatever odds are stacked against me like I always do, it doesn’t matter what those odds are I will overcome them. I will show what I have than the rest of the talent on this roster doesn’t have, heart, passion determination and drive to win and I will use that to win.
(Jason wipes some sweat from his face)
Jason X: I am no longer playing around this is the serious Jason Xavier the “Real” Jason Xavier that will be in the ring waiting for Jake Cage to get his ass in and face me, but most importantly it will be the “Real” Jason Xavier in the middle of the ring with his arm raised and qualified through the X-Core tournament. This championship belt will be mine soon.
(With that being said Jason X smiles into the cameras as the scene fades)
