So, I'm basically a fan of all kinds of music, not to be confused with a fan of all music, but I'll listen to everything from Taylor Swift to Skrillex to Rammstein to Black Sabbath to As I Lay Dying to Vivaldi to Green Day... if that makes sense.

Anyways, I don't know if anyone here has heard of a band called Demon Hunter, but they're an American Extreme metal band that's been putting out some great music over the last ten years. Their new album just showed up in the mail and it's #SIIIIICK! So if you're into metalcore/death metal stuff you should really check it out. Also, this song off of it would make a great monster heel theme.




Feel free to post any great music you've been listening to here, even if it has nothing to do with metal, as I said, I listen to it all.

i played in bands the past 10 years or so but i dont have time for that anymore. my list of music preference is basically every genre but i love metal/screamo. Nirvana is my all time favorite band though. I have a Kurt Cobain Tattoo on my left shoulder blade and a Foo Fighters tattoo on my left arm that I am turning in to a foo fighters half sleeve. For the Screamo/Metal I love blessthefall, august burns red, silverstein, trivium, unearth and a ton more. And as most of you know i have a huge obsession with Katy Perry (still #2 to Eve though:-P) and I love David Guetta's stuff. for Hip Hop i love old school like 2pac and Dr. Dre. Rap today sucks i feel bad for kids growing up with Lil Wayne and Kanye West EESH. I know im old an opinionated but music is a huge part of my life.

Heard of As I Lay Dying Johnny? They were at Ozzfest recently. Sounds like your kinda music.




Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Rap, though the older stuff is better than the new, except in Eminem's case, I think his newer stuff is better than it ever has been since his first EP. Newer Rap in general just doesn't seem to have as much thought put into the lyrics.

Also, I'm a huge fan of Electro-House, Daft Punk was my gateway band for it, but right now I'm listening to Wolfgang Gartner's Illmerica, and it's fantastic.
